My son has a deletion on chromsome 6p25.1. You are the first I've found! He's 16 and has several issues but is thriving now.

my son has a rare chromosome deletion as well and like you, I have no idea what to expect for his future. my son is only 15 months old.His deletion is called 6q26 deletions from 6q27. He is starting to show signs of seizures ((i'm epileptic)), but he has low muscle tone, cannot crawl, walk, sit, or stand and can't pull himself up, he has flat head syndrome, scoliosis to the spine, an extra rib bone, he needs an operation to the spine but the doctors are still uncertain if the operation wil help.

+Aleisha Sevinctekin he may have a type of trisomy, which is a duplication of a chromosome cell, or even a triple of a chromosome cell, and I think the deletion of another cell. (I'm only 11 so.... yeah) But if your child has either Partial Trisomy 13, Full Trisomy 18, Trisomy 18 Mosaic, or any other type; signs of it are severe developmental delays ((ie; responding to speech (not talking) at 6 years)) Some cases are mild, others are very severe. Hope this helped 😊👍
