actually, chaeyoung is a pretty strong rapper! i feel like she has a lot more talent than what she can display on twice and is more than a "designated" type of rapper. that's part of why i loved likey so much

Jeongyeon’s voice is my favorite in Twice, her voice is so clear and natural. (The others are great too)

its too sassy for Twice though which is why she gets less lines. thats why she gets lines in the end of songs to strength the sound even though shes a more main vocalist like Naeyeon

I love your reactions! You bring a lot of interesting opinions which are unbiased and well-informed. Despite being upset that DubChaeng didnt get to shine in HS like in Likey, music wise the interjection of rap was really amazing and it fits well with the lyrics like you have the slow verse "the time is now, our eyes are meeting but Idk what to do" and then an excited DubChaeng going like "go for it! Love is timing!" Its like the mirroring of the outfits with white vs colourful. Chaeyoung is more of a rapper because she writes her own lyrics and is quite talented imo but there's definitely no space for any other rap in a song like Heartshaker and that's totally fine! I also agreed that behind the happy cheerful chorus, there was a kind of really emotional sadness, especially doing the last chorus with Jihyo doing adlibs at the end. I really enjoyed your reaction, thanks for making vids about Twice!
Heart shaker is REALLY good. I knew it was gonna be a bop the moment I heard the teaser, cos the singing in the chorus was so pure I fell in love with the song💓
I think you're right, follow up tracks rarely live ip to the main track, but this song was dope🤘🏻

I LOVE THIS SONG! I mean yes you're right that it is not as well produced than the Likey MV but what I like about this is that the song has a very fresh/innocent feel to it and that it has a story as well. This has become like my #1 TWICE title track. I'm so happy that you like the song because I honestly thought you wouldn't like this comeback as well. I feel the same actually! Really every part of you comment!! this song reminds me of Twice's performance of Pretty U in their concert. That's pure, energetic, powerfully cute and really fresh (which fits their image a lot). This song makes me kind of touching, don't know why. Maybe because the purity you talk about. It happens when I am listening to Pretty U as well. I wish they can have one or two more comeback with this fresh concept in summer perhaps.
Besides, the pre-chorus rap part is really one of my favourite part. Everythg in this song just lit, just right. I feel their happiness when they are singing. Maybe they like this song as well.

I felt very similarly. Normally it takes a while for me to get into a Twice song is but when I listened to this for the first time I fell in love instantly. Also I thought the exact same thing about it reminding me of Pretty U.

Great reaction and I agree with a lot of your points. I'm honestly not surprised by your impression of Chaeyoung being the obligatory rapper of the girl group, because you don't really see anything of her in the title tracks, but Chaeyoung is actually a really good rapper if you listen to some of her performances or parts in the side tracks. I really hope the future release manages to showcase Chaeyoung's rapping.
I agree with everything you said but chaeyoung is definitely a true rapper though, you should check out clips of her where she raps. She writes her own lyrics as well! Dahyun on the other hand, yes she is only a rapper because they probably couldn’t give her a different position but all of the girls are improving :)

I think this was a gift from Twice because the coming year they'll be promoting in Japan and we won't see them much. I love them so much and i can see that they're improving.

The first time I listened to Heart Shaker I instantly fell in love. Im new to kpop so when I hear songs for the first time, it takes a while for me to like it BUT HEART SHAKER TOTALLY BLEW ME AWAY. Idk maybe because the melody or the sounds felt so right and perfect and fits to my taste. Idk but I really really like it.
"Heart Shaker" is actually my favorite Twice song so far. The song also showed that those young ladies look damn good in jeans.

I love the instrumental with this song. The single, “beachy” strum from the guitar and the bass line and the clever use of percussion....it just comes together.

likey's highlight part is "Likey" this short melody include unlimit positive and bright feeling and apealing saddness a little bit at the same time. heart shaker's highlight is "shaker" vocal sound has appealing trembling. so it also has bright side and vague a little bit at the same time.

I liked your thoughts about Twice but you were wrong about Chaeyoung's rapping. She writes her raps even since before debut and she has flows she has soul for it. Maybe you can watch her Sixteen rap performances for a referance because she is way better as a rapper than what you think.
