Hi Mikey, Nice video. I am hoping to fit one to my fixed gear bike and the chainline is critical to me. When fitted (with no spacers) what is the distance between the centre line of the chainwheel teeth and the centre of the frame? I have asked Litepro but cannot get a reply. Also is the manufacturing quality good, so that the chainwheel teeth run true as you rotate the crank? Hope you can help.
This bike was really easy to assemble ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxMesz3KOGEmwmvyKQfLfrRSUXLFzfVHZA and required very few adjustments out of the box. The wheels did not require any truing/adjustments. The frame had some small scratches, but nothing major.I did replace the seat though - the seat it came with was very uncomfortable. The tires need to be re-inflated every 4-5 days, but this appears to be quite common for the narrow 700x25 tires.Overall, in my opinion, this bike looks and rides like a much more expensive bike.
The Litepro Hollow Integrated Crank arm has axle length of 110mm and also 116mm. Can advise which to use for a 8 speed Dahon Vitesse D8 ? Does the 6mm difference matter?
What is the speed of this bike? Can the 1x single chainring conversion to a 8 speed bike? I have the Triban 120RC. Also, is it possible to convert a double chainring 50/34T into a gravel chainring 48/34T? Lastly, your bike mount nice, can do a video about it?
Hi Sir! Thanks for watching the video! The brand of the crankset is Litepro. The brand of the pedal is Promend. These can be found online via shopee, lazada, taobao, and AliExpress.
Hi bro i have a 7s if I want to have a small upgrade on my foldable bicycle can I change just the crankset with a 53 teeth or should I buy lower teeth ? To have smoother ride
my fixie crankset is kinna broken so i have to buy a new one but when i look at the online shop all the available crankset are litepro,so my question is will the litepro crankset fit on my fixie?
Hi! It depends on your bottom bracket mount. This Litepro crankset is running on BB68 threaded bottom bracket. This is usually used for most foldable bikes. Not sure about Fixie frame.
I am experiencing the same issue bro, wondering why having the original square taper BB doesn't have this issue. The distant difference is only 4mm based on the BB capping. Chain drops when I back paddled and the chain doesn't sit properly at the lowest gear. And the chain is bouncing too much, is it the chain is too long? Needs to cut off a little?
Two possibilities. The chain is a link too long. Or the front chainring isn't in line with the rear cassette. And this can be resolved by getting a wider BB or using a spacer.
Hi bro! Yes absolutely fine not to put spacer as long there is no free play. If there is free play, you can install the spacer at the left side. Installing spacer at the left side will not affect your chain ring position. If no matter how you tune and adjust, but your chain still drop off, you can install a plastic chain guide near your chain ring. 👍👍
hi, i tried upgrade 48T with square taper BB to Litepro 54T and hallowtech BB, and bought a new chain.. but my new chain keep dropping off the front chainring, is there any specific chain needed for Litepro chainring? or any idea how to troubleshoot & fix ?
Hi! There is no specific chain for Litepro chainring. The chain width size depends on how many speed you are using. Try to align the chain ring to the center of the cassette, use BB spacer/s if needed. Make sure the chain length is not too short too, if you upgraded from 48T to 54T, it is very likely you need to change to longer chain. Ensure your rear derailleur is correctly tuned especially the H & L limit screws. Last resort is to install a plastic chain guide to prevent the chain from dropping to the inner side during cross chaining situation. I’m releasing a video on chain ring upgrade soon. But still in editing phase as lately I’m busy in work haha.

To be honest most bb is the same. I am using kactus ceramic brand, nothing amazing honestly compare to normal bb. 😄 I believe only those high end pricey type then you can really feel it.

Hi bro, yes it is highly possible. The fixing bolt helps to: - compress the crankset (you can set the preload yourself - tighten too tight your crank will be stiff, tighten too loose your crank may have free play, so u must find the sweet spot there) - prevent the arm from sliding off the spline.
Hi! There isn’t a rule. As long the chain ring is aligned to the center of the cassette. And there is no free play after tighten the bb. If not, then use the spacer to fix the problems above. :)
Hi...after I change this hollow crankset... My alignment the chainring was already center wtih the cassette straight on 5 speed... My cassette was 9 speed... But on 8 & 9 speed my chain always drop when paddling... Already pull out all BB spacer on the RH... But still happen... How can I settle this problem... Hope u can help me...
Hi bro! Does the chain drops outside or inside? Assuming your Rear Derailleur is well tuned and your chain, cassette and chainring is in good condition: - If the chain drops outside, try put spacer in the right BB. If doing this and it still drops outside, likely your rear D/ chain ring/ cassette / chain has issue. - If the chain drops inside, and you had already remove all spacer on the right BB, you can try install a plastic chain guide, this guide will prevent chain from falling inside the chain ring. 👍
@@MikeyCruise hi bro... My chain drops on inside... Already remove all spacer, but still drops...
