I have a different perspective towards the iPhone 15. I have been using it since november 2023 and so far it has been working great! The iPhone experience is not about AI but the overall ecosystem and the way things just work. Now, for peeps who have bought the iPhone 15 already, no point in regretting, your daily tasks and other features will work fantastic. Peeps who are still waiting to buy one, as Harsh said, waiting makes sense, but don't make a decision on the one thing revolving around the market, that is AI. AI is nothing but a feature. it does not justify its existence by coming in more expensive models. It is pretty useful though. All I'm trying to say is, even if u get a iPhone 15, it wouldn't be the end of the world.

Google and Samsung both has brought their AI features to older phones, it's just sad that people aren't talking enough about what Apple is doing and crippling their existing devices that cost so much.
Most features are cloud based (including the massively advertised Circle to Search). There is difference between inference on cloud and on-device. Apple's implementation of on-device is good but the problem is some features aren't that heavy to not bring them to iPhone 15. They included all of them into Apple Intelligence and they are missed by non-pro series.
@@comrade_rahul_1 that is the thing. They could've built it in a way that it would run on 6gb RAM devices, or they could've equipped the 15 series entirely with 8gb RAM. Atleast all of their latest devices would have enough power to run their AI
@@sannibh I can partially agree with 1st statement. SLMs do require some amount of RAM, they can be quantised but then they won't be accurate enough. So mostly tough to make it possible but the second one is right. 8 GB RAM for phones is mandatory for phones and 16GB for Laptops by 2023 itself. But they didn't do both of them. It's shame that their CPUs are capable but they didn't put enough RAM to run them.
But as I said, they included some features under Apple Intelligence just in order to avoid confusions. But now since those are under Apple Intelligence umbrella, they are not for non-pro. Else 'some' of them can be present in non-pro as well.
Chat gpt can run on your current phone, its just a marketing gimmick by apple, be happy with what you have.
Now I’m considering the idea of switching back to Samsung after nearly 10 freakin years. Really a bad move from apple.
In other words, forget Ai features for iPhone 14 Pro as well
Meanwhile I am completely happy with my iPhone 13 for the past couple of years, and won't be upgrading for years to come. (Apart from battery replacement)

@@venkatr3987 At 91% battery health rn, I get 8hr of screen time with 12 hour standby or 6 hours of screen time with 24 hours standby. Battery life is excellent!!

I was planning to buy iphone 15 with budget concern and got offer on s23 I bought s23 at 45k very happy with it

These features are mostly gimmick, have those parity features on my galaxy S series device and trust me once the initial curiosity fades away in 1 or 2 weeks, you wont even bother with these shit. Plus these so called AI gimmick features will be released gradually in a staggered fashion by the end of 2025 and also there'll be some sort of subscription tier in it down the line. If these features prove to be useful and are truely value added, wait till 2026 ish for these features and ecosystems to mature and update the phone then. Not a good enough reason to jump on the latest bandwagon. 15 is a perfectly good device
But still the price will drop in like 3 months

Iphone 15 is good phone but as u said I don't want the iphone 15 get the ai features coz it will drain the battery out the hell and it's not worth having ai in a smartphone
i bought iPhone 15 for 63k in feb and after Apple Event I was disappointed of not getting AI features but still overall iPhone is the Best Device for me. With the currrent pricing of 13 and 14 iPhone 15 makes sense as just paying over 5-6k extra on 14 user will have many updated features. If someone has to buy uurgently an iPhone he/ she should look at 15 not at 13 and 14 untill unless price difference is more than 10k-15k

Harsh bhai iam planning to buy flagship and confused between iPhone (15 + or 16 in BBD sale) or Samsung s23 ultra. I am not a gamer or camera freak person, My main purpose is multimedia & day to day tasks i.e. instagram etc. premium look dena h. so please suggest which one is good for me.

If i could buy a phone under 45k, ill probably choose any android phone, its not because i dont like iphones, i love them and im a big fan of their phones but the only thing which scares me a lot for not getting iphone is the repairability cost, if it was low as android phones, i would have bought it for sure

As an iPhone 15 Plus user the iOS 18 update has made it outdated already just after a year of its launch :/ this phone is a beast apart from 60hz but i kinda feel cheated. Now apple will introduce ai features in base iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 plus as well as they will upgrade the ram to 8GB along with action button if I’m not wrong. I like Apple but Samsung has fared far better in this regard even if their ai features are cloud based at least they chose to give it to previous year’s models as well.
Believe me bro samsung products are not worth paying over 60k. The products may looks great initially but none age well. Used to be a S series user since S6 till s22ultra and i had to upgrade every couple of years for sure. After just 1 major software update the devices will heatup like crazy, the camera performance degrades drastically or battery life will take a major hit. They will cripple your device so much that you will be forced to make an upgrade. After switching to 14 pro max from s22 ultra i still get almost same experience that i had on day one, will probably keep it for a couple more years unless apple is doing some major upgrade to the 16 lineup.
@@satyaprakashsahu907 Yes that’s very true! I had S8 i actually loved that phone but after 1.5 year it started to lag. And i hate seeing comments from people saying Samsung is better without even justifying it! Heck i saw one reel in instagram where video capabilities of 3 phones were compared of mid range segment and all of them shot an iPhone as subject, one stupid commented samsung is better! Like dude iPhone was not even in the comparison 😂 switched to iPhone 12 and the user experience was rock solid even after 2.5 years even after that i didn’t feel like upgrading but i just did else it was going good apart from battery.
The entire logic behind not bringing down AI features to non pro models is a complete eye wash
Hey harsh I'm getting Pixel 8 for 50k in offline market and further i can claim GST in Offline which i can't claim in online but the only catch is It's a Global variant not Indian so i won't be getting the warranty .
The effective cost would be 42k .Should i go for it as Pixels tend to have heating , network and battery issues and when i asked about warranty the offline retailer told ," Bhaiya ye to badiya phone le rhe ho aap isme kaha dikkat aayegi"

Except for the AI, the iPhone 15 is a good device to experience the mighty iOS. Personally, all my AI tasks are done either through GPT or Bard.
Spending an extra INR 54,901 on the Pro models only for the AI features is definitely not worth it to me, and it's plain stupidity to be honest. 😅
If iPhone 16 base model comes with AI features then it will be a way better deal thats my point
