Mr. Dhinakaran, Can we look more closely at what you just taught in this short video? Fasting doesn’t deliver you from the devil. The example in Matthew 17:21 is about delivering a possessed boy from a demon. Those indwelt by the Holy Spirit need not worry about demon possession. Instead, we submit ourselves to God and resist the devil (James 4:7). We put on the full armor of God so that we may stand against the devil’s schemes. Fasting is not included in that armor. God fights the devil for us... not our fasting. (Jude 9) Fasting is not what allowed Jesus to resist the devil. Fasting was a preparation for Jesus. And I agree with you that it was about separation. We see Jesus physically separate Himself from comfort, from His family, from His disciples. But this was a descriptive passage, not prescriptive. It tells us what happened, not what to do. Jesus had a task in front of Him that was awesome and unique, and in this miraculous event in the wilderness, the Father was preparing Jesus. I would never instruct someone to go into the wilderness and fast for 40 days. They would die! I agree, when we are fasting we can ask to bring God’s will on earth. What is His will? His will is that you produce fruit. His will is that you have the courage to make Him known to a lost world and that you would suffer for His name. Fasting certainly might give us the courage for such a task! Sorry brother, but fasting does not need to be done for forgiveness. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us of our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). If we think our sacrifice of food or drink will help earn us forgiveness, we have totally missed the purpose of the cross. Instead of sacrifice, God wants a broken heart that is ready for repentance (Psalm 51:17). Brother, you said that we must separate ourselves when we fast. I agree. This is a matter of the heart, though. We can do all of the right actions, but still be far away from God with our hearts. That is why the nation of Israel went into bondage (Isaiah 29) And yes, please ask God to lead you into His plan. Jesus would say to take up your cross and follow Him. Paul would call it walking in the Spirit. But this definitely doesn’t mean that God will guide you into blessing… unless by blessing you meanto know Christ-yes, to know the power of his resurrection and participation in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death (Philippians 3:10). Finally, I implore you, Mr. Dhinakaran, please quit manipulating Bible passages to make them say what you want them to say. Isaiah 28:11 talks about judgment on God’s people coming through a foreign nation. They will speak God’s judgment in a language that the Jewish people do not understand. This passage OBVIOUSLY doesn’t have anything to do with speaking in tongues or uttering some angelic language. And when you talked about Isaiah 45:2-3, you said it was about God giving His people blessings. Brother! This is a prophecy to Cyrus, the Persian king, about His stripping the wealth from God’s people. This is not about God’s people getting riches, but about all of their wealth being taken by a pagan king. Why would you use this to talk about God’s people being blessed with wealth? Mr. Dhinakaran, you have no right to manipulate God’s Holy Word to fit your thoughts and purposes. Please treat God’s Word with more respect. Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth. (2 Timothy 2:15)
why do you have to separate yourself? I learn fasting from a Pastor that I met in a Christian church but he himself did not separate himself. He still goes to church & work. He fasted for 21 days.
It depends on how u do... 1. U can break ur fast at 3pm to start with ...from morning no food till 3pm...if u feel very thirsty u can drink water. 2. Or u can break the fast at 6pm... 3. Or if u want to fast for 3 days continuously, u shud not eat food for 3 days...but can take juices or tea and water if u r not used to being without food. Hope this helps...

1. U can break ur fast at 3pm to start with ...from morning no food till 3pm...if u feel very thirsty u can drink water.
