I honestly want a remake for the new timeline. This game has always been a favorite of mine growing up in the PS2 Era. I guarantee it'll be DLC after Part 3 is released or a stand-alone game. It's the only one in the FVII series that has yet to join the Remake, and it's the final bit of history for the series. We have Crisis Core,FVII Remake P1-3,AOC (which i hear the remake will lead into) then COD. Vincent won't be playable during Rebirth however will be a guest character like how Red was in Remake,that makes it so the team has 3 games to fully understand what they want to do with his character and how they want to implement and improve him. He'll be playable in Part 3 and that'll give them a chance to see what they could do for the final bit of history of FVII with his own game.

Along with the multi-verse stuff, it's hard to imagine how they'll stuff in the Omega and Chaos plotline. The least we can hope for is that Nero and the rest of the Tsviets show up. Don't get me started on Genesis. And I at least want a mention of Angeal; have Cloud remember where the Buster Sword came from.
@@edalmirneto4246 Oh yeah. Angeal died in the snow lands. Going there could trigger Cloud's memories. Cloud's interpretation of Modeoheim could even be the tutorial level and be framed around how he got the Buster Sword.

At the VERY very least it needs to be represented in *some* way among the modern games. Even if it is just another Story mode in Ever Crisis, that'd be better than nothing
I didn't like a lot of the plot elements of the Compilation, but this one is actually excellent. Hojo picking up Jenova's ambition the same way Sephiroth did (due to him infecting himself with her cells) but looking for his own way to go about it makes complete sense.
You're thinking of dissida where Shinryu reset the universe after each time line. But you've raised a very good point. Shinryu represented creation and beginnings whereas Omega represents endings but also a new beginning as Omega takes the remaining lifestream from the planet and takes it to a new planet to start again.
And we’re in a new timeline in Remake that takes place after the Compilation of FF7 metaverse. We could get a brand new Advent Children or DoC after the new trilogy
