@ my cab is gonna come off. Engine out, tranny out, everything on to a shorter frame with the ability to have a lower ride height but just as much travel. Just gotta get some other projects dealt with first.
It'd be cool to hear how you learned all of these skills. Are you self-taught? One thing's for sure, you come from good people. Canada should be proud. What you do is incredibly difficult. You always have such a positive attitude too. I really appreciate what you are doing. I can't wait to see you drive that truck. I am in the process of fixing up my old Tacoma and I am in love with that 1UZ.
@jsvallee567 haha ive done a tiny bit to the mazda in the past 6 months :P i finally got a bumper mostly built for it hahaha there's not much more it really needs... speedo, shocks and a compressor. It's just a financial thing at this point haha! I don't have like 2 grand for shocks :P
No, needs another surgery come spring. Mobility is lacking and it still hurts to use, I've just been powering through it. I can deal with lack of mobility, the other thumb joints make up for it, but it would be nice if it didnt hurt. Realisticaly if the pain is gone by spring I'll likely pass on getting it operated on again.
@DirtGarage keep me in mind , I would like to buy them from you. You should make a trip to Alaska and do some trails with us. Maybe attend the 2024 Baldy Challenge.
This is why the upper link goes on the pumpkin side. Lemme know if you wanna see how I did mine. It’s SUPER tight. Especially after adding hydro assist
Thats looking great man! Its making me want to ditch my leaf springs 😆🙈😅 Hey, would you want to sell the flat pitman arm you took off? I need one for my truck lol
3 link projects every time I watch one on UA-cam always look hard to do. A lot of trial and error. Yours is looks nice! If you ever swap the motor again you should 2jz swap it..
Yeah you gotta be prepared to do alot of math and problem solving in a 3 link suspension. Caveman leaf springs are sooo much easier to deal with, I am excited to see how this suspension compares though. Should be worth it!
Felix is my fav!!! Greetings, love your vids, you are real performer!!! And you know the matter!
So sick I want to try and 3 link a project
Its fun, but alot of work to make sure all the geometry is dialed and everything works together 🤣
Snow wheeling, is just a chilled breathe away
Lighter spring always goes on top
Looking forward to seeing the final build. Trying to get my own started but ended up with a 2nd truck rather then starting my swap.
Knowing that your truck has been apart for a year makes me feel better about how long my truck has been apart.
@KCampen1986 haha, well I had the cab off mine during this project 🤣

Thumb.... is it fully healed, and functional ?

@@DirtGarage Sorry to hear, things aren't A O K yet. Wish you pleasant distractions, from the thumb pain
Are you going to sell 3link brackets for the toyota axle ?

@TheTreadLife_ Eh. It will work fine where its at. Not working around a driveshaft on this side.

@ I definitely think it will be worth it. Especially the knowledge gained.
