Just tried 3 recipes. The third, I used tahini as my spread, apricots, shredded coconut, and pistachios. Since I'm not a fan of white chocolate I used dark and all 3 are delish! Thank you for helping me give up processed sugars.🎉
I love your substitutions! That combination sounds amazing...I'll have to try that next :) Can I ask a small favor? Can you leave this rating/review on this recipe on my website and share your substitutions? Then others will know what to expect. I appreciate it :) Here's a quick link...gentletummy.com/cinnamon-spiced-white-chocolate-date-bark-recipe/#recipe
Pro Tip 1 - lay them face down and press on them to get them to stick a bit to the parchment paper and keep them from moving around and stay nice and tight Pro Tip 2 - overlap them on one side just a bit so that when you press them down that side will glue together, keeping them more intact instead of them coming apart when you smooth out the nut butter over them Just made them about an hour ago, by the 3rd one I did it this way. 10000x easier !!!
Spread the melted chocolate first then arrange the dates on the chocolate, proceed as normal. You could either finish with the nut butter and nuts, or ( my personal favourite) go for double joy and add more chocolate 😂
Yay...you're going to love it! No, I don't use salted butter or nuts. I prefer to add the salt if I have the option :) Please let me know what you think of the recipe.
I haven't tried the tempered method but I'm sure that would work great! Please let me know how they turn out if you try making them with tempered chocolate :)
Okay. I made these after watching this video...exactly the way she did it. I thought rolling the dates flatter was a good idea...not. I don't recommend it. The dates stuck to the parchment paper and the peanut butter and chocolate came off separately when I was trying to take them off the paper. Next time, I will keep the date halves whole and fill them with the peanut butter and chocolate.

That's a fantastic idea! I like how you think :)
I’m dying to try this recipe. ? Do you use salted butters and nuts?
Yay...you're going to love it! No, I don't use salted butter or nuts. I prefer to add the salt if I have the option :) Please let me know what you think of the recipe.
Nice , Are the nuts roasted ? Almonds
I used plain almonds. But you can also use roasted. The recipe is very forgiving :)
It would be better if the chocolate was tempered, it would be shiny and not melt on you fingers. Love the idea though so thanks for posting.

Hi Kelly, thank you for sharing your experience :) Yes, the dates can be sticky. Filling the dates with peanut butter and chocolate is yummy, too!
