I own a 2003 Hyundai Santro XG. Still runs buttery smooth, but servicing has certainly put a little dent in my wallet. Forever love indeed ❤️

I own 2019 Santro Asta. 26000 km done. Drives strong as like new always. Went to Ooty, Munnar, Masanagudi very inclined drive, it goes very well. Very pleasure esp in chennai city traffic. Head lamp visibility, sound system, interior touch are very plus. Major highlight is 4 cylinder refined Engine. Good that I didn’t choose 3 cylinders hatchbacks in the current market. Good family Hatch.
Tata Tiago is facing many issues like,
Poor quality headlights
Driver seat vibrations
Alignment issues
Poor brakes and stoping power
Uneven body panels
Poor paint finish
Expensive repair cost
Etc..
Hyundai is superior in all these areas
So true.. Never know what will be the future of Tiago. I am sure Santro will be here for next 15 to 20 years. That time Tiago will be lying in some scrapyards
I don't really like TATA but there are more Tiagos on the road then the santro

Many morons are barking for Tata and Mahindra. My question is.. Are they really considering the Indian customers. What we are getting is sub par cars with horrendous service experience.
XUV has airbag issues
TUV has gearbox issues
KUV petrol has fuel efficiency issues
Bolero has electric board issues
Tiago brakes, headlights are below average.
I will never go with these cars, why should I waste my hard earned money on these craps.
For a reliable petrol car I consider Honda,
Reliable diesel car I prefer Toyota or Hyundai.
For safety I prefer VW, Skoda and Ford.
For driving pleasure I prefer Ford or Fiat.
I am not considering luxury cars as it is not accessible for all

Bro foreign company cars have also issues . for example - Toyota cars have airbags issues ( even Mercedes cars have airbag issues ) like in the etios , innova & fortuner.don't believe me , search on the internet . Hyundai i10 has brake issues . Suzuki has built quality issues ( poorly built ) . new tata cars have Ac issues . So any company be it Indian or foreign quality durability & reliability has to be good. People don't bark like morons for mahindra , tata .everyone,s personal wish to buy any car from any company . but yes a car should have all round performance , safety , reliability & durability.
I agree dude I want to benefit Indian companies so I bought fucking kuv 100 very fucking poor mileage of 14 on highway .So I sold it out for less price now I bought duster it's value for money with 21 mileage
My dad had bought a Mahindra Major in 1998 And still its brakes haven't worn out.
The last time it was serviced completely was in 2007.
We haven't used its spare wheel even once.
It's Engine Still hasn't lost its quality.
Still it can do offroading and climb steep Mountains .
It's headlights are still working and still gives a great mileage.
Its axles are still as strong as before.
I learned driving on it and Have crashed it 4 times but its bumper is so strong that not a dent was put on the engine and the huge radiator in the front

Santro is inspired from supercars as they also don't have adjustable headrest.

10:18 A slight correction, tachometer was there in the special edition of Santro xing, that console was exactly the same of the export market Santro xing i.e. atos prime facelift model.

But 2013-14 santro xing used to have chrome hyundai logo on the steering..underneath the right and left side below the steering wheel there were 2 storage areas where we can keep our wallets or other stuff, even it has got a dead pedal, but the new one misses on these..The model santro zip used to have head height adjusters.

The screen ratio is bad on iPhone 7 plus and I pad
Didn't know eon had dohc but 3 piston engine does vibrate furiously at around 120kmph

that's the reason why skoda doesn't sell in India. Indian market is all about mileage and features. Forget performance too lol
Exterior is okayish, interior is fantastic. Best AMT at this price range. Sound system is surprisingly good. 4 cylinder car bapu. Fantastic gear shifting ability without any noise(amt) andBest variant is obviously the SPORTZ one.. The best thing I love about this car is leg room and the head room. Bad thing is no seat and steering adjustment and only one airbag is provided.
Overall I will give 3.8 out of 5.
I hope it makes its own space in this market!

80's Kid brother its a 4star ncap i must remind you its more safer , less on maintenance than Hyundai , has a 3 cylinder engine instead of 4 in santro so more economical, has a harman music system too and i guess its cheaper too . Scrapyard my foot 🤣 !

The rubber treatment looks as if the logo has fallen off from the steering wheel.Disappointing!!
And dont expect Hyundai to offer adjustable headrests because the prev gen Grand i10(other than asta) didn't have them too!(Being a higher segment)

For all who shouting about tiago is better than santro... Better have a test drive.. Tiago build quality is nice but engine and cabin vibration is hell.. You don't feel like driving a petrol car.. Above all tata service sucks... Tiago is best for diesel variant.. People can get used to that
