To mark Refugee Week, we launched Cuppa Hope pop-up cafés for Tea & Talks with refugee storytellers from around the world.
Many cultures share a long history of tea drinking with their own, varied traditions. We created spaces to bring together our shared love of a cosy cuppa and a chat, and the beautiful tea rituals that refugees have brought with them to the UK.
Our Cuppa Hope Tea & Talks featured hosts from Afghanistan, Bangladesh, East Africa, Syria and Ukraine.
