Man, I KNOW I had included my dimensions in the descriptions of my videos but can't find now on any of them! I did find on a note of mine. Circumference is 22 1/2, front to back 12. Hairline to chin 7 1/2.
Looks to me.that you needed to train it with either low heat blow dryer or steamer....do you ever use that method? But I do agree the curl pattern doesn't look the way it should. I hate when wigs take that much work
I've been thinking to buy Finn in that colour but now I'm not sure. A review says it's similar to shaded biscuit, but not so. I love your bio hair. New subscriber 😊
We've all suffered that situation. If you're into wigs, sooner or later what comes out of the box is not remotely close to the marketing pics. It seems it's not the curls or length. I'd try thinning first - the entire front. That area seems much denser than he rest of the wig. Try thinning. That has done wonders for me in similar situations.
Finn is one of the most beautiful wigs i own. I never had to do a thing with it! It is also the piece I get the most compliments on. Sorry you had such a difficult time with it!
Mine is the same just arrived today and I think it’s heavy I think the front needs trimming I’ve seen others out the box and there was great. Yours looks worse than mine not sure what I’m going todo with it I can’t send it back as it was on sale 🥺 x
I know just what you mean. This kind of style is a no no for me. It looks so cute on so many reviewers but they're in life's the problem. I'm not a cute type. I'm more of a classic type and as soon as a wig has a smooth outline I know I can wear it. I like fairly straight wigs that have a curve to them and feathering at the ends. Nothing too messy because I don't look in those. Maybe if you use some simple barrettes or even bobby pins to minimize the waves around the head so that the curls are mostly toward the bottom are you awake. That can work wonders sort of like a half up half down look.

I never got Finn because I agree with you that she is not a true beachy wave, but more of a barrel curl look. Instead, I got Estetica's Ocean and I love Ocean!
I noticed when others trim their bangs they hold it straight down right against the face, when cutting instead of doing 1 straight cut .. start a bit up and do small cuts when u work your way to the bottom, you can always point cut the bluntness out and it softened it and makes it airy looking
Was looking for videos on Finn and saw yours this morning. I think it looks REALLY nice on you after you’ve trim the bangs! And you are right, …another Finn that I saw from a wig boutique did not look like the full curls yours has. But actually I like the way yours looks better!

I bought the same wig in the same color in March. Yours looks even better than mine. I decided to trim my bangs and I also thinned some of the bulk on the sides. The only way it looks good is if I put in up in a pony tail and leave some strands out on the sides. It was a real disappointment for sure.
Absolutely the two cuts is better! I put mine on for the first time two days ago and wow … what volume what curls and an a unruly front! I think I am in trouble! I just put it back in the box it came out of and will deal with it later! Mine is long in the back with curls curls curls! What am I going to do …. beats me! I have a Finn that I love. I love what you did with the bangs. Very nice. The color is lovely on you. I got a Radiant Beauty on clearance and she’s horrible. No wonder someone returned her. Drab and dull. Style just doesn’t work and now I’m stuck with her. 😿 I’ll never get another wig on clearance again.

Looks nothing like any of the reviews I've seen where she looks lovely. If you saw mine you would agree with me. She's the worst wig I've ever gotten. Drab and dull 😭
I was watching another lady with the problem you have, and she cut bangs then got the hot roller and lightly did a tuck under on the bangs. That seem to help.
If you still have Finn it appeared to be to heavy as if it needed thinning. Just a suggestion it might be beneficial to invest in a pair or hair cutting shears & thinning shears. You can buy a set on Amazon very reasonable. Love the color, agree with you about the root area tho but then I'm old & just can't grasp the dark roots after yrs.of covering them up. Lol
Maybe cutting just a bit off the sides might make you happy with it. I saw another reviewer do that & it made a world of difference. Also you might take a hot air brush to tame the bangs to your liking, also saw a reviewer do on a plain synthetic wig. Have not tried any of these myself. Good luck I think you will get there. Love the color,like you I wish they would improve the root at the front with some lighter pieces to make look more natural. Perhaps some blonde root spray would improve that. Just a few thin pieces laid on some foil. Can always add more & it washes out I have done this & was pleased. Lynn (not John) no stalking. Lol

I’ve wet mine down and moved the curls about and put it on a wig head but it might need a trim I’m sure x
