After catching the latest trailer for "Castlevania: Nocturne", I was absolutely captivated by "Divine Bloodlines". Naturally, I decided to create my own cover version.

sadly we'll be listening to this masterpiece on the last episode of the series.. hopefully it would be a 3 minutes epic boss fight
We heard it in the trailer, either they were trigger happy and revealed the best song immediately and the rest of the ost is Mid, or they went off and only gave us a sample of what they have.
My theory is that Divine Bloodlines will be a Leit Motif throughout the series, like how Bloody Tears was in the OG series.
Next up is the arranged version of 'Vampire Killer'.
How many episodes will it have?
Richter Belmont vs the Blood Countess herself, Elizabet Bathory. This studio is committing to the bit, instead of retconning everything that happened in the previous series, they gave Dracula and Lisa their happy ending and are moving on to other powerful vampire lords.
Hopefully we’ll actually be able to buy the track this time
I just finished the first season binge watching it. I honestly admit that the Castlevania series is one of the few modern anime I get INTENSELY hyped for. They are just good.

I know that in portrait of Ruin when you fight his spirit a version of this song plays. I just recently played that game. The last one I played was Dawn of Sorrow in the DS when it came out. So I'm picking up where I left off as a kid. Ironically with this season coming out I'm stuck at the part where you fight Richter's ghost. He whoops my ass every time just like how his descendant Julius did in Aria of Sorrow when I was playing it on the GBA. You don't realize how powerful they are until you try to fight them in a boss battle.

Was actually a badass scene when Richter got his magic back and wrecked 4 vampires. Dont think he will ever replace Trevor for me but hes a cool Belmont.
He's considered the 2nd strongest belmont but as of now he's very weak from what they've shown in the show. Even after gaining magic he's pretty weak.Hoping he'll get stronger as the show continues.

Trevor literally ended death, Richert got outshadowed by women for 7 episodes barely killing vampires, and yes at 8th he did become stronger but he could not even defeat the pink one if I'm sure

I dont think Netflix will leave us hangin, Castlevania is one of the most successful shows on the platform right now along side with One Piece live action. I think Netflix is going to take this chance and work more on anime stuff since its a booming industry right now.

I gotta say I didn't really like Nocturne for the first two-three episodes. It felt like there was something great there, but the characters simply didn't sell it for me completely.
But then it got just better and better and didn't stop getting better.
It still stumbled here and there but overall a great show with an already great soundtrack and this version here is just supreme

Very clean soud mixing, but the same whooshes--hit came so frequently that break the evolution of the song and it became really repetitive, dispite that the ensemble is good !! (I really like the synth used ;))

Few things NEED to happen in this series and I hope they do! alucard has to appear, Dont care if its the last episode which leads to the next series after Richter gets Brain washed, he 100% needs to appear and be a BOSS because at least 300 years have passed since we last saw him.
Dracula also needs to appear: yes he had his happy ending but the series is about him and it needs to swing focus to him being evil, also, a BOSS and not some sad vampire, he showed hints of how strong he was in the first series, lets build on it.
We also need a recap of the belmont line through the ages, like a recap: Show what happened to Treavor, his child, Sliva, Simon, etc work through the history with some back story of the belmonts for the last again, 200-300 ish years whatever it may be. if those things happen ill be very happy.

My only problem with the netflix version of Divine Bloodline, is that Edouard didn't sing on it.

I'm a Korean. Why do Westerners like the Castlevania series? Although it is old content, it is unusually still popular in the West.
For 2 reasons:
1. The animation is done by an American studio, so a lot of westerners look forward to Castlevania knowing that the English voice cast and English dialogue will be perfectly well selected in comparison to anime dubs that tend to sound cheesy in English.
2. Castlevania plot follows a lot of European settings in history. The most obvious being the French Revolution in nocturne & the Rondo of blood game. In the past Castlevania show, it was nice to see Austria and Wallachia put into animation with a creepy vampire setting.
3. Warren Ellis wrote it.
Everyone has their own reasons for loving Castlevania. For me, it’s mainly because 1. The English voice cast is amazing & 2. The characters and setting is just my favourite.
