Can any Muslims here explain to me why music is Haram but youtube videos is not? What is it about music that makes it against God, but entertaining through funny videos is not ? Very confused
The more I watch this video the less I know about the Muslim religion ! 😂😂 "i know listening to music is haram but im not ready to drop it now" can anyone explain to me, is being aware of sin and still doing it not worse than not being aware of sin ? Im so proud of chunkz for doing whats best for him even if that means giving up music weirdly from my own ecperience when i listen to music thats more uplifting and to do with positivity i feel closer to god because it makes me evaluate everything i have to be proud and thankful for in my life but ive never been too much of a fan of music to do with bragging about money girls or cussing no good vibes really comes from it.
You really are blessed with a beautiful voice MashaAllah, BarakAllah. A suggestion might be learning to using that voice for recitation. I think you would have a beautiful talwat. And imagine how many people might be impacted by your talwat(recitation) of the Quran. For every person who hears the Quran in your voice, you would be blessed for it and earn good deeds for it. Now that’s an impact.
Regardless, the fact that you took this step to stay on Allah’s path speaks volumes my brother. Never stop correcting yourself. Truly, Deen over Dunya. May Allah make it easy for you. I truly admire this effort you’ve made

After getting up to the 19:40 mark, seeing as I have uploaded a slowed + reverbed version of his hit song (vibranium), its only right as both a muslim and somali brother to also take that down. And for anyone else who has uploaded his songs in different forms/versions I think we own him the courtesy, integrity and honour of taking it down by following his wish.
I'm probably going to take down all the other slowed versions I have because this man really spoke to me looool.

God didn't put chunkz in this position, the youtube algorithm did, and the investors of the beta house did (the beta squad house and everyone in the beta squad are backed by investors, they don't actually pay rent but sacrifice a % of their youtube earnings to live in it) which is why NONE of them upload as much except for niko. Chunkz used to sell drugs in his ends and still has affiliations with those people, this video is a pure misdirection from the actual fact. However, it is beyond us and we cannot interpret what running means in this context, we cannot comprehend Allah and his attributes and his nature and we never will. We simply affirm what is told in this hadith within sahih muslim 2687.
Whoever leaves a haram for the sake of Allah. Allah will replace it with unimaginable things. Mashallah my brother may Allah send blessings upon you. Ameen

This is the odd thing about Muslims, and I think that it becomes difficult for them to achieve the same level of success, they throw away good careers in the name of religion or holy fighting, and sometimes it hurts the country, like in India Muslims are very poor, and I have Muslim friends, but people of every religion are worried that two groups (Hindus and Muslims) are sort of fighting because of that.

You quit music, but don't let that voice go to waste Insha'Allah. Do some accapella nasheeds/covers, recite some Quran. Or even write songs about how you changed your ways Alhamdulia.
The topic of your songs can sometimes be about Islam, and can sometimes be about Chunkz (you as a person).
As long as all your songs and nasheeds are accapella, they're halal.
You can even get beat boxing in the background (as long as it doesn't mimic flutes, drums ) your good it's Halal, and Allah knows best.
I'm so proud of you Chunkz. Not gonna lie, I've never listened to your songs. All I listen to are nasheeds and a bit of Quran.

I'm Muslim too and I do listen to music on occasion. Im not convinced music is Haram unless it's inappropriate or supports values against islam and decency.

Chunkz has his own lane and he can stay at it without the music. He has done quite a lot of dating shows, pranks, interviews, football (as in fifa with players haha), comedy, chatting to the public etc. so big up to Chunkz can do other things and make his own lane that suits him.
I’m not religious but my level of respect for chunkz has increased. For someone to be this determined to have a better relationship with allah is truly greatful. Big up chunkz for this one🙏🏾🙏🏾
respect bro but even you must realise the effects of music today some are so gross like is their a need for listening to music like that especially the youth seeing it its actually sad and this is what makes people become engrossed in thinking its normal etc
@@Ali-pu7ps respectfully, I’d argue that music is a large source of expression and escapism from everyday horrors. the realities we see on the news and in our everyday lives takes a toll on the human mind, free artistic expression is a good outlet and tool for people in difficult circumstances. I’m 100% proud of Chunkz for what he’s choosing to do, but we have to show the same love for everyone else’s choices as well. It’s all apart of their time on this planet, people should have the free will to channel their love and compassion into whatever direction they want. With all that said, I am extremely proud of Chunkz decision! I’m just saying your point of “why do we even listen to music?”, seems a bit out of touch to all the GOOD that music does.
