PowerFAST Modified Bitumen Roofing System

PowerFAST™ is a modified bitumen (MB) roofing system with a high-performance MB base membrane that is mechanically attached to the structural roof deck with barbed plates or pressure bars to enable it to withstand higher wind uplift forces than many fully adhered systems. The base ply overlap is sealed with a fast-curing adhesive, making the lap watertight quickly. Final surfacing is typically a granule-surfaced MB, but highly reflective options are also available.

You know back when I worked under S.Jones (Best/Most knowledgeable, experienced roofer/and (mine) mentor/supervisor) as a lead Field Resources Tech Rep. and Inspector the question's at the end of the day would be," #1-Why aren't the laps and or field plies bonded with both points of contact receiving adhesive,#2-Why are we not cutting roll in 3rd's and setting and I didn't see granulated ply laps stepped in or rolled." Just a few of the obvious things that come to mind after working for the BEST ROOFING MANUFACTURER UNDER THERE GREATEST EMPLOYEE/SUPERVISOR (OTHER THAN MR. TREMCO HIMSELF) ,I Believe he is their still, S.Jones West Coast. Anyway just my thoughts

Olybonding iso down or tar layout on tpo or pvc fleece back drives be nuts. This new fully adhered rolls is also a huge joke

when a manufacturer fails to install it to code for the training video. 6-12 spacing off the edge, not 0-6

600 -1200 sq ft roof when you done with this speed? its good for who worki for hours. but for subcontractors its bullshit

As for Tremco products you will not find better products ,After 35 yrs as a journeyman roofer who's installed every major roof system I prefer Tremco cold applied Burmastic modified asphalt roof systems ,the only product that outperforms Tremco Burmastic is Tremco Thermastic molten hot applied rubberized asphalt 4 ply and gravel roofs .
