  • Clare Rogers talks to BBC Panorama about the importance of making people safe while cycling. Speaking at Holborn gyratory, one of London's most notoriously dangerous junctions, she explains why safety is a key factor in how people choose to travel, with only 1 in 50 journeys in the UK currently made by bike - one of the lowest rates in Europe.
Clare is Central London Co-ordinator at London Cycling Campaign.

I like that the reporter claims that there's load of investment when all the shots are on roads with no provision for bicycles.

So true, way way way more cycling infrastrucutre needed that FORCES cars to slow down and give space not just relying on drivers being sensible.

0:08 0:27 Oh yeah, this is a good video idea. Lets complain that too many cyclists get killed because of infrastructure whilst showing cyclists LITERALLY cycle into oncoming traffic and breaking laws that protect every road user

i think its to highlight the poor infrastructure. big bus and small bike sharing the same space is a recipe for an accident.
