- This is Iceland's first 4K 24/7 live stream showing the lava erupting from a volcanic crater near the town of Grindavik Iceland. This eruption began on March 16, 2024.
Weather permitting, a tour of the area will run every 20 minutes.
This camera is situated on the southern tip of Þorbjörn. Þorbjörn is a 243 m high volcanic mountain next to the town of Grindavík. The camera is usually pointed Northeast at the erupting volcano but may occasionally pan north or south to observe other features of the area. It is about 2km away from the erupting volcano.

Looks like a big eruption still, some people are still saying it’s slowing down. Same thing they’ve been saying since the day it started.
