Thinking of having them cut the 509 acss cut on my 34, glad to see if u chose the “blue cut section” for the refinish that they actually blue the fuck out of that section and not just barely blue it🤙🏻🤙🏻
Just got my slide back from wager machine. I did the 509t cut absolutely recommend. Did the cerakote and front cocking serrations as well and it looks factory.
Wow that looks good! Just sent in my G 17 slide, didn't get it cerakoted but did get the blue for the cut area. Really excited to be able to mount by HS407C soon
Just sent in two slides to them and hope it turns out well. A little concerned the address they gave says it is a residential address. Hope they come back good
Question.. were you able to get all of those circle marks on the outside of the slide off or is that permanent? I want to keep my factory finish but if those don't go away I will go with the cerakote. Thanks in advance!
No on the outside of the slide like everywhere else. in the video when you turn and the light hits it a certain way there is all those perfect circles spread out evenly on the slide@@dreamit.buildit
Question, I’m having my Glock 19 Gen 5 slide cut by Wagner too I chose the option to have a Trijicon SRO optic for mines since they are doing a custom cut for that optic do I need to purchase any other slide plate for the SRO or just drop the optic and play?
I believe that the SRO is the same footprint as the RMR. It will work without a plate but I’m sure having a sealing plate will be better. Hope that helps.
WOW. would have been worth paying 125.00 to get a slide with no tool marks, and single color cerakote. cold bluing will not hold up if this is an EDC. jageworks, legion precision, maple leaf firearms, and probably every other company on the planet will tell you that the bluing will not last. Rust inbound
Wagerworks also tells you that cold bluing doesn't hold up as well which is why they offer a multitude of cerakote color coatings...however it's the end users choice on whether or not they want to spend the extra $25 for Cerakote
@@SgtPhroste my problem is, is that cerkoating removes the original color. Wish he could just do that single spot, instead of redoing the whole slide. Oh well. Still awesome work, and I’m happy with it
Love that they included an optic plate in the case where you don’t have your red dot on. They did great work on my cousins G19.
Yes that is a great feature. Thanks for commenting.

That is great to hear. Top notch company for sure.
Thinking of getting them to cut mine for the 509 acss in front of the rear iron… is their 509 cut decently deep like they picture it on their website?
Wager is in Crossville,Tn
Yes they are now
@ yes.. I like this machine shop because I don’t like shipping. I’d rather walk it in lol. Great video.

I’ve been really happy with mine. I’m sure yours will turn out great as well.
@@dreamit.buildit what iron sights are you running on your glock?
@@TheStonePanda Angry Bear Arms suppressor height sights. Blacked out ones.
@@dreamit.buildit thanks, I’ll check them out. Just got back my slide today and I’m super happy with it
My p07 slide was delivered to them Friday. Hopefully I get it back soon I can’t wait to see it lol
I’m sure you will like it
@@dreamit.buildit that’s too funny, no sooner than you replied they emailed me the tracking number lol
See I said they were fast lol
i found them on reddit too.

price is right
Great service and very fast turnaround when I used them.
great video, i think ill go with wager machine works for my glock 26
That’s great. I have been very happy with mine. You won’t regret it.
wow 2 hrs from me and great prices
How much
@ThePatriotParadox for the options I chose it is currently 1/14/24 $85
Was having the factory sight’s removed optional or depends on the optic? Wanna get my CZ p01 milled.
It was dependent on the optic if I remember correctly.
Ok. Thanks. Will go back and double check website.
Just sent in two slides to them and hope it turns out well. A little concerned the address they gave says it is a residential address. Hope they come back good
Should be all good man. You won’t be disappointed.
Did they remove the striker channel liner? I’m ready to send my 19x slide to them just curious if I’ll need a new liner or if they leave it in.
No they didn’t but I didn’t get the cerakote option. I’m sure if they cerakote it it will probably need a new liner. Maybe give them a call.
Honest question, do you feel the cut is rather shallow? Wager rmr cuts seem to force the optic to sit higher than others.
I think it is plenty deep in my opinion, it’s much better than the MOS. As far as other companies cuts, I don’t have any experience with them.
Did you also added blue thread lock to your rmr screws installing on the new milled slide by wager?
Yes I always do.
Question.. were you able to get all of those circle marks on the outside of the slide off or is that permanent? I want to keep my factory finish but if those don't go away I will go with the cerakote. Thanks in advance!
Are you referring to the machine marks under the optic?
No on the outside of the slide like everywhere else. in the video when you turn and the light hits it a certain way there is all those perfect circles spread out evenly on the slide@@dreamit.buildit
Yes those are superficial marks. They go away.
Its from the bubble wrap dude holy shit lol
Has the blueing held up? Have you checked it?
I have not had the optic off the gun yet to check it but when I do I’ll do an update video.

@@dreamit.buildit thanks for this I guess when I get my slide back I’ll see how well it works without a plate
So is that just the bluing option? Looks like that is the factory glock coating on the rest of the slide correct?
Yes he just blues the cut area. Factory finish on the rest.
@@dreamit.buildit do you still need to apply paint for something to the cut area? Will it rust?
@@WhySooSeriouslol I choose the free re bluing option they also offer a cerakote option for an additional fee. It would rust if you did nothing.

So far so good. I’ll let you know when my gun quits working. You might be waiting a while though.
Almost like the cold bluing will be covered by an optic, air tight… hmmmm. Enjoy your cerakote that’ll wear out in a few years.
