Most bands all sound different from cd and live. Disturbed still sounds kick ass..and in my opinion their better live. Now bands like lordi suck live.....
I think they're great live! You can feel the connection with the audience, they unite everyone, you feel like a part of something great thanks to them! That's a talent

Pop isn't loyal to a certain genre music, its just that over the last decade or so, Hip Hop and Party Music has been popular so many people get the interpretation that Pop is that genre of music. Heck, Reggae can even be considered Pop if popular.

I feel sorry for people who can't enjoy both, rap and rock/metal. I listen to Disturbed, eminem, guns n roses, 2pac, system of a down and anything that sounds good. Sorry if you're limited to only one genre. Open your mind and ears. If you only listen to one genre you miss alot.

Well this is the only video that i like disturbed live (vocally and musically sometimes). It might be the Open Air that make them suck at the other videos or the quality of the sound or we have to admit they are a studio band. David definately cant produce his studio vocals live. Would of course melt to see them live.
I got mad respect for Disturbed, distinct sound, very consistent to their style. But why wasnt the crowd doing much to metal music? I mean I have been to shows with smaller audiences but at least they were all going nuts. Does stage presence make that much of a difference? I think so.

@ronbunch1 .....Disturbed is metal. In David Draiman's words, classic heavy metal. Not sure I would say that much, but they have certainly built on the foundations set by those who came before them. They are certainly not hard rock. Hard rock would be Guns N' Roses (original) AC/DC, Van Halen, Rev Theory, JET, Alter Bridge (to an extent) and so on
Slipknot works really hard live just give them credit for hard work at least Corey looks like he's going to pass out after every show that's how hard he works with his intense vocals
