True intellectual, with an "open mind" and views of the "greater MEANING in life". I've always been a big fan of powerful bands that make music with "MEANING". Disturbed, Deftones, Chevelle, Breaking Benjamin, and so on. No band will ever touch Disturbed's musical superiority. To be able to hit every note with his voice, and go from powerful, to meaningful, and past experiences in life only making him stronger, instead of putting himself on a downward spiral. It is all about a strong man's crusade in life, to live it out right, and to do onto others in the same manner. BEST BAND EVER!

@@drummer65x the point you made is moot because meaningfulness in lyrics is fairly subjective and Disturbed has some Damn good meaningful songs. Check out In Another Time off of their new album, and A Reason To Fight, and even Are You Ready! 😉🤘 Also, I personally think Disturbed is musically superior to any band, including (no offense)(emo screamo bands like) The plot in you. The singer doesn't scream his head off to the point that you can't understand the lyrics, in fact David is so big on the emphasis of lyrics that they have Official Lyric videos for all of their newest songs, with some Dopeass imagery! And for not screaming, he can shout his ass off and has an incredible range! He and the guitarist are super talented, and even the drummer is, too. 🤘

Well that's something I can agree with David on. In fact this is one of the best songs they ever made, regardless of which album. I've always prefferrd the mid to slow tempo metal. You can keep your blast beats. It's got a prog thing going with the odd time signature too and that often makes a song tough to listen to, but not this one. It's got fantastic build at the end too.
In my opin this is one of Disturbeds greatest songs and their finest hour as a band on the Believe album. This album was created from influences of all the great metal bands before them. You can hear tones of Sabbath, Priest, Maiden and Queensryche throughout and then took it one step further with a sound only they could give it. It would be something to see them perform this entire album live in a 20 year anniversary show.
The Believe album is pretty much flawless to me. I know The Sickness is iconic and 10k Fists set the tone for everything onwards, but this was always my favorite era.

I got through some tough times with this music. David uses the right amount of scream, and the perfect blend of melody to bring this tune together. I can't believe how old it is now, but still so damn good.

Me and a few others decided to play this for a college performance, unless you know how to it's honestly so difficult to play. That's what I love about this song and Disturbed, it just shows how amazing they all are as musicians to make a song like this.
I remember being deployed in Iraq, and hearing this for the first time. I was stunned. Between albums he had honed his craft so much! He was actually singing instead of screaming into the mic.

Good friend of mine played this frequently at work, and has since passed due to covid... this song still resonates in my mind every time I hear it, RIP J.C always will REMEMBER you.
This song flipped a switch in me. Already aware of Disturbed, I heard it on the radio and was moved by the epic chorus. The meter they use on the verse is quite progressive for nu metal. Tricky without feeling jarring and resolving so sweetly to the chorus. Sickness is great, but this song soars above it.
Dave Draiman has an unbelievable vocal range. I don't think a lot of people really realize, or give him credit for it either, because they just don't pay much attention, or because of the genre of music. Until you try Karaoke, then you realize lol.
That's great the only thing that matters is you tried never give up and I got mad respect for you for trying to sing his music because not many people have the range that he does so keep trying I love to play music on my bass and drums I can't live with out music.
This song is a masterpiece! We all have our songs that resonate with us in our lives. But nothing hits me like the beginning of this song hitting the weights at the gym. Remember Stricken I'm Alive The Vengeful One Are my four go to songs for weight lifting as the band pushes heavier... so do the weights and mindset needed to push through any of life's adversities.
You should also include Monster imo. That song is also ideal to use when you want to push on doing gym. Seriously, that song gives me a massive power boost when you get tired throughout the day and need a pick-up.
Cuando tenga un hijo/a le haré escuchar está hermosa banda y que luego sus hijos también y sucesivamente hasta que se haga una tradición familiar. Disturbed por siempre!

DISTURBED - BELIEVE Disturbed is an American heavy metal band from Chicago, formed in 1994. The band includes guitarist Dan Donegan, drummer Mike Wengren, lead vocalist David Draiman and bassist John Moyer. Donegan and Wengren have been involved in the band since its inception, with Draiman replacing original lead vocalist Erich Awalt in 1996 and Moyer replacing original bassist Steve "Fuzz" Kmak in 2004. Disturbed's debut album, The Sickness, was released in 2000 as a commercial success, mainly due to the singles "Down With the Sickness" and "Stupify". The band then released the albums Believe (2002), Ten Thousand Fists (2005), Indestructible (2008), and Asylum (2010), all of which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart. Disturbed went into hiatus in October 2011, during which the band's members focused on various side projects. They returned in June 2015 and released their sixth album Immortalized that same year. They followed it up with the albums Evolution (2018) and Divisive (2022). With over 17 million records sold worldwide, six RIAA certifications for their albums (including 5x platinum for The Sickness), singles from all eight albums reaching the top ten of the Mainstream Rock chart, and two Grammy Award nominations, Disturbed ranks alongside Slipknot and Godsmack as one of the most successful rock bands of the 21st century. ♥️💯‼️And I have the great, great honor of having in my discography two copies of the CD-Album BELIEVE (2002). I already had other Disturbed CD-albums, but I preferred to offer and keep only the CD-album that I like the most. Thank you very much for your music! 🔥💯‼️ Believe is the second studio album by American heavy metal band Disturbed, released on September 17, 2002 via Reprise Records. Produced by the band and Johnny K, it focuses heavily on religious and spiritual themes inspired by recent tragedies. With greater emphases on melodic dynamics, it also demonstrates a broadening in the band's musical range compared to their 2000 debut The Sickness. Believe was the last studio album to feature original bassist Steve "Fuzz" Kmak before he was fired from the band in 2003. Believe debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200, making it Disturbed's first number one debut, selling over 284,000 copies in its first week of sales. It was certified double platinum by the RIAA in the United States on September 23, 2008. Three singles were released from the album: "Prayer", "Remember", and "Liberate"., ♥️💯‼️🔥💯‼️

disturbed has so many great songs this one included, that it just amazes me why you only hear a select few on the radio. in my opinion this band has transformed metal forever. coming just from Chicago they have made themselves legends forever and are hands down, no questions asked the BEST BAND EVER and forever. they need to come back to the Pacific Northwest soon!
I love the simplicity of the lyrics, but it's the melodies that steal the show. David Deaiman has one of the most unique voices in the history of Rock music.
I’m always amazed and fascinated with the evolution of the instruments, especially the guitar. I was a big fan of Led Zeppelin in my youth over 50 years ago. This band has electric guitars that go into a stratosphere I can’t begin to understand, but wish I did. I want to play an electric guitar just like that and if I had my life to live over, would put everything into mastering that instrument. Love this band!
It took me reaching a point of feeling found in my life to find disturbed again. You guys will always be one of the best bands ever. Your inspiration of strength has pulled me through alot in my life. I will always be thankful for that.
Knucklehead Maybe if he was libertarian I would vote for him. I've received more inspiration from Disturbed when I needed it than I could every thank them for.
One of the first songs I listened to by them. Years later I'm not tired of it like I am with songs they play on the radio that just came out this year. That's how you know it's good music
I have a very eclectic mix of music that I like I listen to everything one of my current favorite bands is the lumineers I haven't found a single by them that I don't love yet.
@@jv-man3698 Yeah I miss the music channels too! I remember when the original MTV launched back in August of 1981! (I know I'm telling my age here 😁🙂)I was 16 years old and I was completely blown away! Back then the music videos were 24/7 with no commercials! Me and a friend sat watching MTV for hours Back then, we would order pizza at Domino's and hang out enjoying watching our favorite music and musicians on TV! I really miss those days! They were some great times!😊
This song is so powerful. It may not be their heaviest track but damn this shows David can be a beautiful singer. This is so underrated.
"Loudness" is often mistaken for intensity and power.
Hell yeah dude
still brings me to tears while singing it out loud
It really is
Honestly, as a producer, I feel this song shows that Disturbed is deeper than most people think. They wrote this piece with such a rageful sorrow and pure beauty that is unparalleled to this day
For being a single, this is a VERY underrated track by Disturbed. It's AT LEAST in my top 5.
Correction: I did a video of my top 30 disturbed songs (which was taken down for copyright :P) and I put this as my #2. It's that good.
TheNerdyGinger 100% agree. Very underrated.
TheNerdyGinger So true! It's one of mine too! It's probably mt favorite song of the album.
TheNerdyGinger The Night was 1#.Am I right ?
Rajko Vlaisavljevic No, it was Inside the Fire :)
Disturbed changed history of rock in a good way. Inspired so many bands to go out there and make a name for themselves. Total respect for their work.
Nu Metal m8

My favorite Disturbed track HANDS DOWN. The entire second album is beyond reproach. Philisophically, and music wide. Solid.
It may not be their most popular song but goddamn if this ain't the needle in the haystack of modern metal!

Ugh I'm not alone
Now is a reason to suck
Even tho The Sickness is a classic album, the Believe album is what made me a fan of Disturbed.
By far one of my favorite songs of theirs ever. It's so god damn intense!
Easily Disturbed' best track ever. I've been waiting for them to top this, but they've never been able to even come close.
One of Disturbed best and most underrated songs. DD's singing really kicks ass on this track.
He was 28 years old when this video was shot. Still a kid. Dave is one day older than me
To me, Best song they have.
That B flat chord, 03:15 That's absolutely pure Epicness
Oscar Chuquillanqui yea that 323 kinda hides back there like stryper
August 2024: this song still kicks the ass out of any song they release today
Me and a few others decided to play this for a college performance, unless you know how to it's honestly so difficult to play. That's what I love about this song and Disturbed, it just shows how amazing they all are as musicians to make a song like this.
I remember being deployed in Iraq, and hearing this for the first time. I was stunned. Between albums he had honed his craft so much! He was actually singing instead of screaming into the mic.
I can't say this is my favorite song because of the memories of all the other songs they have created with deep meanings.
eu nao acho e a q eu gosto mais
Clayton C Eaq = é a que... this is brasil :) hueheuheuhuehu shauhsauhsuahsa
Very underrated Disturbed song. One of the best, in my opinion!
Lyrics: Sensation washes over me
I can't describe it
Pain I felt so long ago
I don't remember
Tear a hole so I can see
My devastation
Feelings from so long ago
I don't remember
Holding on, to let them know
What's given to me, given to me
To hide behind
The mask this time
And try to believe
Blind your eyes to what you see
You can't embrace it
Leave it well enough alone
And don't remember
Cut your pride and watch it bleed
You can't deny it
Pain you know you can't ignore
I don't remember
Holding on, to let them know
What's given to me, given to me
To hide behind
The mask this time
And try to believe
If I can
Remember
To know this will
Conquer me
If I can
Just walk alone
And try to escape
Into me
[whispering:]
Sensation washes over me
I can't describe it
Pain I felt so long ago
I don't remember
I'm just holding on, to let them know
What's given to me, given to me
To hide behind
The mask this time
And try to believe
If I can
Remember
To know this will
Conquer me
If I can
Just walk alone
And try to escape
Into me
into me
into me
there's real music and shitty music this is real music congrats to those who like real music
Good friend of mine played this frequently at work, and has since passed due to covid... this song still resonates in my mind every time I hear it, RIP J.C always will REMEMBER you.
So sorry for your loss man. 😥
I was floored the first time I heard this. The Sickness was an excellent album, but this raw, flawless masterpiece makes Believe their top album imho.
This ain't nu metal
Tried to Karaoke this song not too long ago... the range is ridiculous! (unfortunately I failed, but willing to try again after practicing more)
Dave Draiman has an unbelievable vocal range. I don't think a lot of people really realize, or give him credit for it either, because they just don't pay much attention, or because of the genre of music. Until you try Karaoke, then you realize lol.
Lol it make me more suck when tried to karaoke this song.
That's great the only thing that matters is you tried never give up and I got mad respect for you for trying to sing his music because not many people have the range that he does so keep trying I love to play music on my bass and drums I can't live with out music.
the older i get the harder this song hits it seems like
Guitars and drums complicated. Vocals also hard to do. Great song! This album was and still is so good!
love it :)
Almina Novkinic vratio me u srednju skolu ovaj video danas! :-D
i mene isto :)
Za koji dan izbacuju novi album
Djordje Gusman Pa najavljuju ga godinama svakog mjeseca.. :-D
this song has gotten me through so many lows....saved me.
Their guitarist is the Winter Soldier? huh
Awoken Genius lol
Awoken Genius Lead singer is angsty Professor Xavier. Or maybe Penance.
Awoken Genius no but Dan Donegan is just as bad-ass as the Winter soldier ;)
Awoken Genius yup
Holy shit lol. Crazy cause back in the day I had a crush on their guitarist. And now I have a crush on the actor that plays WS lol
do you hear that guitar omg DO YOU HEAR IT?
most def 💀💀💀
@@AntonioMartinez-fu5ug I did. Absolutely sick
That's why I love this song and made me pickup a guitar 😈😈
DAMN, That song is off the chain!!
Yesssssss
Love love Disturbed that what's going through my head a lot
Where have you been haven't heard from you lately
Good where you been ?
I love their one song The Animal I think that's what's its called.
Daniel Portales check Goole or you tube
Lolz I did already I just checked my playlist its The Animal its from the Asylum album.
2021 Still such an awesome song off the Believe album...KEEP ON ROCKING!!!
This song never gets old. And can I mention how freaking young David Draiman looks?!
Yeah, he looks exactly like Howie Mandel!
He was 28-9 at the time of Believe’s release.
his cadence is perfect for this song
Disturbed happens to be one of the best bands of all time. and I am proud that they are from my home town of Chicago
This song is a masterpiece!
We all have our songs that resonate with us in our lives.
But nothing hits me like the beginning of this song hitting the weights at the gym.
Remember
Stricken
I'm Alive
The Vengeful One
Are my four go to songs for weight lifting as the band pushes heavier... so do the weights and mindset needed to push through any of life's adversities.
You should also include Monster imo. That song is also ideal to use when you want to push on doing gym. Seriously, that song gives me a massive power boost when you get tired throughout the day and need a pick-up.
every time the glass explodes it gives me chills.
Cuando tenga un hijo/a le haré escuchar está hermosa banda y que luego sus hijos también y sucesivamente hasta que se haga una tradición familiar. Disturbed por siempre!
one the greatest songs of disturbed cant get tired of listening

DISTURBED - BELIEVE
Disturbed is an American heavy metal band from Chicago, formed in 1994. 🔥💯‼️
Believe is the second studio album by American heavy metal band Disturbed, released on September 17, 2002 via Reprise Records.

Powerful vocals in this one. Draiman hits every range possible.
disturbed has so many great songs this one included, that it just amazes me why you only hear a select few on the radio. in my opinion this band has transformed metal forever. coming just from Chicago they have made themselves legends forever and are hands down, no questions asked the BEST BAND EVER and forever. they need to come back to the Pacific Northwest soon!
This song will never get old!!
Cara 13 anos se passou e aqui estou eu ❤essa música é foda, e hj eu consigo tocar ela na batera, como sempre sonhei
This is eternal brother! 🙏♾️
10 yrs later STILL LOVE THIS SONG!!!
I think it´s the only song i like from Disturbed
I love the simplicity of the lyrics, but it's the melodies that steal the show. David Deaiman has one of the most unique voices in the history of Rock music.
distubred rocks this band kicks ass
This song is one of Disturbed's master pieces. Fight me in the comments.
Absolutly gree...I will fight alongside you!
Oh no argument here! It is a masterpiece!
Como assim só tem 63mil likes ??? Melhor banda de Rock do mundo ❤❤❤❤
i just noticed that david is really handsome O_0
Lyrically, this is probably one of Disturbed’s best songs
nunca voy a superar esta canción
the stronger voice in the world ( with charisma)
I remember when they would play this on mtv and fuse uranium. Good times.
This song is a classic by disturbed
Still here loving every minute of it!Disturbed always centered me as a teen when things weren’t always good at home.
It took me reaching a point of feeling found in my life to find disturbed again.
You guys will always be one of the best bands ever.
Your inspiration of strength has pulled me through alot in my life. I will always be thankful for that.
here is one suggestion. David Draiman for President. THAT would be awesome.
Knucklehead
Maybe if he was libertarian I would vote for him. I've received more inspiration from Disturbed when I needed it than I could every thank them for.
Well coming from an illinoian that loves rock music, David Draiman a Chicago boy himself. So, yea I'll say DD for president 😁
Most certainly better than the orange oompa loompa in the oval office today!
I knew there was a reason I've always had a lot of respect for D.D.
#Bernie for president in 2020
I'll take a liberal over a conservative any day of the week.
#Recovering former Republican & now democratic socialist
One of the first songs I listened to by them. Years later I'm not tired of it like I am with songs they play on the radio that just came out this year. That's how you know it's good music
This is with no doubt one of the best songs written by Disturbed. Musically and lyrically speaking.
Every time I listen to this song my eyes fill up with tears. It has so much *POWER*
I love disturbed there the only band ive ever listen to and never found a bad song by them
I have a very eclectic mix of music that I like I listen to everything one of my current favorite bands is the lumineers I haven't found a single by them that I don't love yet.

Believe is their most underrated album
I remember.. when I first started listening to disturbed I was 7 stuck with me ever since

I remember staying up late just to listen to this masterpiece on MTV2. The world premiere section was top notch back then!
Oh man, I miss music channels like back in the 2000s. Fuse was my all time favorite as a teenager.
2002 was a year full of memories!
