Just recently beat Wildlands, and downloaded Breakpoint today. I’ve only just gotten to the big ass cave in the beginning and I can already see the difference in the two. The gameplay is great, and I can’t wait to get more tactical as I learn. I felt like Wildlands didn’t really make me feel like a GHOST…more like a Rainbow operative. Just the fact I can camo myself on the ground while prone blew my mind. Best tactical shooter I’ve played in a hot minute.
I much prefer the wildlands map though. Auroa wasn't bad by any means, especially with the cold war relics and such, but a map like Bolivia (which is also much more beautiful imo) that was actually a real place made the Wildlands story a lot easier to understand since it wasn't a futuristic made up place. Although the futuristic part of BP was actually a good change in my books and if they kept a little bit of that in the new game it would be a great addition.

They've officially changed it to Bolivia the last minute, to not offend the Mexicans but you can see and hear at every corner that it's actually Mexico, not Bolivia! That huge, white writing on the rock wall that exists in the game?! That's a copy of Ciudad Juarez in Mexico.
@@LoW-RO- NP. It's also much more realistic being located in Mexico! Bolivia is not _that_ famous for being a narcotics and terrorist stronghold. Pro tip: Try watching "Sicario" and then play Wildlands! Amazing experience! ;)
The reason i love this game is becuase this is as close to splinter cell as it gets, day after tommmorrow, chaos theory, double agent, even conviction was amazing, i never played a bad splinter cell game, i dont know why they havent remade it for the new series x yet
Ubisoft has confirmed the Splinter Cell remake is being developed on its Snowdrop engine, which is also being used for its upcoming Star Wars game and was used for Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, me to I m expecting this game 👌

I’m disappointed they crossed in a boat. When you think of special forces the first thing that comes to mind are soldiers rising out of the water one by one with their guns raised. 2/10 for the lack of coolness factor.

I hope someday there’s a proper stealth simulator for fans of stealth. I mean there’s flight simulators and things, even a goat simulator lol, so why not a stealth simulator with very in-depth stealth mechanics? Would be awesome.

I'm about 40-hours in to my first playthrough of this game and am doing Immersive Mode on Extreme and am absolutely loving it. Just wish the AI was smarter - they're about as dumb as a box of rocks at times.

As a reviewer that I have noticed problems with the gaming the graphics of the soldiers keep going in and out with the combat soldiers . Take a look at the gaming start you will problems of the over lapping .
this game is way too easy to play even on extreme difficulty. Im glad that i found the ultimate version on epic for 20 eu. I heard there is a mod that makes it difficult, ill try it out.
Everyone should use the 1st person mods for both Wildands and Breakpoint as 3rd person makes the game too easy IE You can see any direction with out moving, peek over walls or cover and overall just have sight you would not have in real life or 1st person and vehicles totally unrealistic and way too easy to drive in 3rd. And imo 3rd person just really breaks the immersion. Can you imagine a VR game in 3rd person? 😆 +But seriously give the 1st person mods a try as it brings back the old Ghost Recon and both feel like a totally new games. With max difficulty, no hud and even no use of any special abilities and the game is actually pretty challenging, sort of like an ARMA light.
Loving this game, played it for several hundred hours but there's something this game is lacking I'm not sure what. I love the story it's absolutely amazing and I'm really fan of this black project technology theme it has but the emptiness this game has is making it kinda unfinished idk. Never played Wildlands because I hate the narco cartel theme I like the technology theme from Breakpoint.
Try it with the Spartan mod on a higher difficulty. Feels like a different game in some aspects. Much more difficult to just walk through bases. Even patrols are more realistic in being able to see you at distance.
What’s lacking is atmosphere and life. I started this game first then I kept hearing Wildlands was better due to the map/missions, it turned out to be true, it has life to it that breakpoint doesn’t.
In the game activating the Thermal is done by pressing the NVG button twice, meaning you need to activate the NVG first and then switch to thermal (pressed once more will turn off the gear back to normal vision). So they only added this text whether you press it once or twice, you've still switched to NVG even if you did go further.
Ubisoft doesn't learn from their mistakes!!! GR died once they did it 3rd person and the Pip cheat!! GR has to be First Person!!! Ubisoft you are a total fail!
Their games rate number one in repayable games, their servers remain open up to 10 years on previous released versions, plus they are maintained and updated quarterly to this day, I love their games
Ubisoft games graphically look great but that's about it. Same goes to GR BP. It looked great but everything else is repetitive and boring. Ubisoft stopped supporting GR BP on March of 2022, if I'm not mistaken. Correct me, if I'm wrong.@@NightCrawler810

Breakpoint has better mecanics and his best time is after motherland dlc

During my "hardcore" playthrough of Breakpoint (no class selection and no skill points) this mission was pretty tough with no thermals.
