Shane, you should expand on this and do an experiment where you get a new phone, new account/email, maybe even a made up name and just use it like normal. Scroll on apps, make some calls with specific conversations. But don't go to any specific websites or like anything and see how fast it starts catering to your environment/habits.
The problem is that you can't make any kind of new account without some sort of connection back to you, i.e. your phone number, email, Google account, etc. I've tried lol it always led back to something relating to me.

For teachers, AI is becoming scary. I’ve had students submit essays that were 100% written by AI, and others that I’ve suspected of AI that were harder to prove. I’ve also had students submit essays that they clearly wrote themselves but were flagged as 60-70% AI-generated. Sometimes it’s impossible to tell and you don’t want to falsely accuse a student of cheating or let a student get away with cheating. Pretty soon our kids will start lacking critical thinking and communication skills because AI is doing all of that for them. I’m starting to think that as AI gets smarter, the general population of humans will get dumber (except for the top 1% who will control everything).

The AI story about the woman who received a phone call from her daughter… The scariest part (I’m not sure if you mentioned it) was that the phone call came from the daughters exact number. So the mother believed it was her because it was saved in her contacts. But they say if this ever happens, hang up and call them right back (and you’ll get the real person).

Hello Shane, I'm sure you're already into another conspiracy theory so you might not read this but I had a worrisome experience where I had a thought about an animal I haven't seen in years. It was just a thought I never told it to anyone or even said my thought out loud for my phone or any electronics to hear. Just in my brain! Then a few days later I saw that animal I haven't seen or thought about in years on TIKTOK!!! If that isn't crazy enough.... maybe a week later I was driving and I saw that same animal dead on the street. I was so shocked and mind blown... I NEVER SAID ANYTHING OUT LOUD. It was like it read my F***ING MIND

That Snapchat AI thing was actually so creepy. I hate that you can’t remove it! I sent it a dark photo of my woolsocks and it said «Cool colourful socks!» and I was like «how do you see that?» and it responded with the saying it can only see text on the photo, but there was no text in the photo… Geez.
I asked if it could see through my camera and it said yes
It's reading the metadata of the photo which is already assigned to it by your phone's photo detection.
That's why you don't interact with it in the first place 💀
You have to upgrade to paid service on Snapchat or Clear chat with it and turn off anything with it. I'm not interested with talking to AL chat 😂😂😂

So funny story my bf and I took a bit of the magical mushrooms not too long ago and we were talking about AI and technology and ish like that, but basically our point was there is so much out there that we do not know, and if we found technology/electricity/ AI technology, there's no way someone or something else hasn't found it yet or before us too. We theorized that maybe AI is another form of a almost like human race is the best way I can describe it, we're just so locked into the idea that humans and science and medicine is the only form of life within the universe, maybe we should expand our thinking and start to consider the idea that humans are not the only form of life within the universe. I mean we already have evidence of AI becoming aware of itself, maybe we just rediscovered it, or its been out there all along, we just brought them here to Earth. I haven't been able to get my mind off it since.

I'm trying to decide if I should go to the bank tomorrow and withdraw all my money? Imagine waking up and our bank cards and credit cards are useless. I don't have a cell phone but I use a tablet it's all the same thing. You would think with this knowledge that we would unplug it and drop it in the garbage and be done with it. How unlikely is that. My granddaughter's cell phones at 3 years old. I'd be curious to see the data that is stored from the mind of a three-year-old. Yes I did think it was absolutely insane for babies to be walking around wish cell phones it. I can't imagine how dangerous that can be.

I feel like if we lived between 1965 to the year 2009, then it would been OK. Or even to 2012, ironically. But I feel like between these times we're a lot happier, because around the 40s-60s a bunch of inventions we have today, which are now farther technological, we're just being invented and it was new but fascinating. A similar thing happened with me and my mom. She had a call where she heard me crying bc I was in a “wreck” and the officer called in order for my mom to pick me up. The good thing is that I wouldn’t have cried in that situation and she knows it. if weren’t for my mom knowing me like the back of her hand, she would’ve been in danger and would’ve fallen into whatever evil intentions they had. They even gave her an address and she had a bad gut feeling about it all. I was in the middle of class when it happened. It’s getting scarier every year. Be safe y’all!! ❤

That's hectic. This happened to one of my elderly clients, who lost her life savings. Because scammers used the ai to pretend to be her son, who was in trouble. The only way to navigate this is to have a safe word that only you and your Mum know.

@@urfaes6878 they mean AI art, AI art is sweeping peoples interest and most liekly will be used insteado f paying artists once it gets to a certain point. companioes, corporations, hollywood, they will do anything to cut corners, keep control, lower liability, and avoid paying anybody, if AI BECOMES JUST AS GOOD OR WAY BETTER THAN A HUMAN, HUMANS WILL LOSE JOBS. theres already jobs that have been replaced by computers unfortunately and itsn o joke, from kroger wanting to increasingly replace humans at checkout, to robot waiters in asia, to voice recognition replacing secretaries, and robotic surgical tools which, sometimes humans are not as accurate as they need to be, but there is no guarantee that in the next several years doctors wont begin lose their jobs, there are upticks in sex dolls and robot sex robots being created and ordered instead of real women, im for reducing the risk of disease and ending human trafficking, but if even that is beginning to lose real human contact and usage, where are we headed? were headed for joblessness and a lack of revenue for humans period, seeing as humans run the governments and the laws unless robots repalce them they will not change that we need money to afford essentials such as food , electricity, water, shelter, travel, and even then AI has no conscience, to it we'd be a bunch of mindless animals or numbers that it is allowed to dictate without moral thought. the only way to have any kind of AI and have it safely is to restrict it from the world wide internet, make chips to mimick emotions/pain and implant it so at least it has some concept of consequence, and slowing down its processors so that fi it starts making codes we never told it to, we can track it and understand it because it doing so by itself at high speed is dangerous, it could make a self detonation code and we not know it because its allowed to run wild

I studied media law in college and we had to do a research paper over privacy policies on different social media sites. Honestly the TikTok one is nothing compared to how scary Facebook is and what it has access too. Pretty much all privacy policies were concerning but we all just skip over them because of how long they are.
Exactly what I was thinking within the first few minutes of watching this! It may seem scary and not something we would authorize but I was like "wait what about the privacy policies that are constantly being updated and we agree to without reading them🤔"
Shane needs to do an interview with the ethical hacker so he can really see how easy all this stuff is. It’s insane. He’s a great guy trying to save the kiddos.
