Todays video confirms what I suspected - y’all ARE truly wonderful people! How considerate of you to realize the issue and be willing to shuffle tables for the benefit of others. The gratis starter was well deserved and not only did you bring us another lovely video but showed us all a lesson in good manners and how to live. Thank you! 😊
Oh I have some exciting viewing lined up. 3 videos! Great to see your van swap with Tina & Bernie. I must get up and visit them too sometime. Ravenglass to Eskdale railway is a narrow gauge railway known as La’al Ratty. Me n Bri used to take our bikes on it to Boot and then cycle the country lanes back to Ravenglass. The pub at Ravenglass - The Ratty Arms allows overnight parking & the estuary there is lovely to visit, great sunsets 😎
Once again another lovely video, just so relaxing watching cuppa in one hand and laptop on my knee and the dogs sleeping next to me in their baskets Just shear bliss 😀
I remember going on the Ravenglass and Eskdale railway as a child about 55 years ago. The flowers were as high as our eyes, particularly the wild geranium.
Interesting how much time we spend prepping, eating and talking about food. I’ve left viewing your video til all my kitchen duties were complete. I can enjoy the smell of red and green peppers and sliced onions in the dehydrater . Thanks for another enjoyable video. Hope carols shoulder is better
This trip has been quite a journey for you and you certainly made the most of your time. Still playing spot the sunshine I see but you keep warm and cosy throughout.
We get caught like that when eating out. Good intentions then we see the menu and stuff our faces🤣 can’t beat a bit of reversing practice! Lots of shots from a single spot. They all look very different. Sat nav can be a nightmare. Sounds like you had a great afternoon with the other Windsors 👍 😊🧙♂️
A few videos behind after our week away but really enjoying this series. I agree with the reversing “if you can’t drive it backwards you shouldn’t drive it forwards” 😅
Enjoy the honesty of your videos. Do you ever think of moving up to a slightly larger van? We traveled in a stealthy Ram Promaster City camper but found we needed to go up one size for comfort. Now we are in a Ram 1500 high top. Just wondering. Hope Carol’s shoulder is better. Safe travels.
we think about going up in van size quite a lot and realise that it would bring a lot more comfort but then what is really important to us is the ability to get under any height barrier and into any parking space.
@@LifeistooshortCK I started getting aches and pains from being hunched over. The 1500 is only 18’ long and fits in any parking space but the height can be an issue with the AC unit on top. We’ve had to sacrifice the drive thru Starbucks coffee though 😭
We have the same debate around satnav and always stating we need to check the route and don’t and end up down sone tight rabbit holes Thanks for producing and sharing - stay safe

I can thinking the weather has got to get better but it doesn’t! I think your van is so versatile you wouldn’t need anything else. Unless you had three dogs like us! Thanks for sharing.
Great video as always - lovely to see you up in my part of the world. I work in marketing, partly for the Ravenglass and Eskdale Railway. It was running because I think it was half-term that week up here. You were so right not to follow satnav over Corney Fell!
Hi both! 😊 Sat nav can be a pain for sure, sending you farmers lanes which is not ideal for the van... Your choice of music and views just melted my heart.. Beautiful! Thank you for sharing 😊
Hello Ken / Carol . I enjoy that with my morning coffee 6.30am here , even with the not so good weather you were getting they are still great to watch there is something about being out in blustery days , it must be the farmer in me as they say you can take the boy from the farm , but you can't take the farm from the boy and its true. Great choice of music as always , here is a thought on a bad day when you have nothing to do how about telling us all how you pick the music I find your music a big part of the video . Thanks as always take care .
A big HI from The-Other-Windsors.. Thanks so much for the mention and Bernie says if you give us a little more notice next time, he'll have a proper cake ready for you! As for the reversing practice.. You've been down our road! We were wondering where in Whitehaven you were going to stay and true to form.. We have to watch the next episode to find out.. God love you 😁🐕🚙 OH NO... signed up to Artist this afternoon, wish I'd seen your description link before we did.. Never mind
Another great video 👍 loved the music you picked for the background, I went and subscribed to The Other Windsor's I'll give them a go 🙌 it's a shame the weather is still a bit ordinary but it's definitely looks cosy in the van 🤗❤️
Oh Carol and Ken you have visited my home town Barrow in Furness. Glad you enjoyed Walney. When we walk our dog we park there. Next time you are up this way rampside is a gem. Two lovely pubs and bosuns locker diner/ice cream parlour, walk along the causeway and a smashing view of historic Piel castle. Lovely coastal route to Ulverston to join the A590. Thank you once again for the brilliant vlog. Glad you got it sorted. Posted ahead of us going away in our rented Ford transit dormobile. It’s called ‘Ketchup’ because it’s red. The other one that could be rented is called Mustard 😂Thanks to both of you, I know what to take and not with all of your hints and tips. Got pee bottles and some tinned chicken in! Safe travels! 😊
Lol, we were driving in a long wheel base Talento campervan and took that sat nav ' short cut ' road, on the way to staying at Ravenglass caravan and motorhone site. Although the road was challenging, to say the least, it was not really a problem for a decent driver, although my wife was having kittens as usual. It was worth it though, the road is beautiful and rises up to some pretty impressive landscape views, before returning back to the main road where we turned right to Ravenglass. In your little van, it would have been a breeze. Never mind, as they say, fortune favours the brave !

Hi C&K, found this video very interesting because I will be travelling down the west coast of Cumbria this month on my way back from Scotland. My aim was to do the North 500 but many people I have spoken to are saying it has become so popular the local shops can't keep up with the demand. So also with the cost of diesel I have come up with the south 500, I'm going up the Northumberland coast into Scotland as far as Edinburgh then crossing over below Glasgow to Gourock, then south down the west coast then round into Cumbria. I'm giving myself 3 weeks. Can't wait. Longest trip so far for me and "Kermit the Camper" Hope your shoulder is better now Carol x
Funnily enough we met The Other Windsors in Kirkby Lonsdale and they mentioned you had popped in for a cuppa. We will bump into you guys and the Little Red Camper I'm sure. Until then, keep on rolling and hope Carol's shoulder improved. Stay well 👍
Hi again Darren, we hope you're both keeping well and still enjoying your travels. We haven't passed back through Kirkby Lonsdale, so haven't as yet given it try fir a stop over, but sure we will at some point. Take care Tina, Bernie and Blue
Since the last few episodes (under the title "The Trip That Beat Us Up") were taped sometime in February, have you given up traveling? I can understand, especially if it is due to the price of fuel. But I also hope you are both well.
Was ‘The Swan’ the copyright problem; it’s a very famous piece? And did that car enter your exit road at the wrong spot? That looked quite a dangerous location. Definitely getting my fix with this one, lots to see. Totally agree with Brewers Fayre, never found a decent one yet!
Hari OM I am guessing the CCTV is to ensure payment (and psyche folk out) - but unless it specifically states no sleep overs, I am guessing you spend the night! You certainly had rugged weather and having the LRC was defo the right choice! YAM xx
