Kevin Bacon did a great Brian Wilson. Right down to the look of fear in his eyes
He even looks like Brian Wilson
Was just gonna the same thing
@@dogpd3 ture life movie sounds like story life look back by being before seeing the same time years before New York City universal studios hollywood new
And the falsetto.
Great observation! All these First Drafts are incredibly accurate in every detail - and really funny!!
The amount of time and energy put into this premise that like, 5% of people would think is funny (me being in that group) is possibly the funniest thing about this to me. It's so well done for such a small joke. Love it.
I smile every time I watch this. The funniest is Kevin doing Brian's falsetto. :)
You took the thought right out of my head!
I love this! Had to listen this again after listening to the original version😅☀️☀️
We just watched many of the Fallon/Bacon songs of this style and this one is by far the best. This one is funny, and the lyric is better than the others, but this one is a slamming musical performance and really exciting show. This one is fab, most of the others fall flat.
@@Kate1Chopin Actually, it's very funny. Not dull. In fact.
Jimmy's "dancing impression" of Mike Love was spot on.
nah, Mike is alot stiffer
@@rjpg And cornier. Such annoying moves.
@@claudiasmith1600 Mike uses the same moves from sixty-odd years ago. He taps his temple knowingly at the same spot in “I Get Around” where “the kids are hip.”
I really like the part when they sing about the hamburger stand.
Now that's funny!
I think I missed that part. Let me listen to it again….
@@johnedwardcabrera4559 Wasn't that the line where they reference the hamburger stand?
Yeah but when?
🍔🍟🍔🍟🍔
Loved the whole thing. The dancers dressed and danced 100% authentically.
Then at the end, when the camera shows the audience, there's a woman at the front going with them!🤘
@@timothygraham4304
Actually, i think she may have been the choreographer for this skit. They usually have em off camera when they do these
After the commercial break, Jimmy explained the premise was Brian Wilson got writer's block after the first line (which is from the real song). He couldn't get "hamburger stand" out of his head. Comedy gold!
That explanation doesn't make this parody funny, though. In fact, it makes it more sad that Jimmy couldn't think of a better way to parody the original song.
@@Scsigs It's really sad that your insult is so weak. Keep practicing, it'll make you such a better person.
@@dboy6400 So, me pointing out why a parody fails is an insult & automatically makes me a bad person? Ok, fam.
@@Scsigs the parody was a success.
@@davids.3584 It's not a good parody even if it did well.
Kevin Bacon doesn't age. He looks incredibly well for pushing 60.
ArielHelwany it helps to film in black and white :)
ArielHelwany well, Botox is for men too !
Well this was obviously from the early 60's so I suppose that helps too.
Mega Sauce Nice Troll but you Lose
Can't imagine Kevin Bacon 2:39.loved it.
Kevin Bacon is a fierce talent. No question why Fallon has him in these musical sketches.
Kevin's 100% committed too.
think Fallon is even a bit intimidated by him.
Kevin BACON IS A HAM...!
the girls dancing in the back are the best part of the song
No jimmy was by far the highlight, he is amazing.
Top10Eagle my exact thoughts, love the girls dancing :3
Top10Eagle Kevin Bacon!! He contains bits of real bacon so you know he's good!
Top10Eagle 0:53 Pretty sure she is going commando lol
Jasoon X Thats the way to go man!
Don't you think Kevin Bacon should have said "And we also ordered bacon on our burgers at the hamburger stand now." ?
Bacon burgers were likely unheard of in early 60's. I'd be glad to hear from anyone who knows. Did A&W or Bob's Big Boy ever have bacon for burgers back in the day?
Nah. I think the only options were hamburger and cheeseburger (person with old ass parents here)
@@judyreyes9250 Fudge, A&W, I remember those places.
Yes!
Don’t forget the tiny, limp pickle slice! That was a major innovation back then. Lettuce? Tomato? No way.
"Burger,Burger,Hamburger,Burger,at the Hamburger Stand now."-Kevin Bacon,2015
ham + burger = burgers at the hamburger stand now
Man, he's got Mike love's moves just on point!!!!😂😂😂❤️
I appreciate how they got all the little details right, right down to the particular guitars.
No, the bridge on that one strat is a four-screw model with brass inserts that didn't come out until 1968, long after this song was released. Prior the bridges had been three screw with steel (or sometimes copper) inserts. Looks like the pickups might be later edition counter-clockwise wound instead of era-accurate alternating-wound types, too. Don't get me started on the inaccurate truss rod.
Kudos to the Drummer for playing snare with his right hand. Dennis Wilson was a self taught drummer, and played that way (most right handed drummers play the snare with their left hand). Also, bonus trivia here, Dennis Wilson was the only Beach Boy who could surf.
attention to detail +1 for the drummer
It has everything to do with him being left handed while playing on a right handed kit.
@@troybradley1927 Kinda like Ringo but instead of playing open, he just decided to crossover like a right-handed drummer
Bruce still surfs. 🤷🏼♀️
Carter Beauford also plays open handed. It's a handsome technique if you'll excuse the pun. It's highly aesthetic.
I'm confused. What type of stand was it?
I think it was a hotdog stand now. Or maybe it was a lemonade stand now. Actually I think it was vegetable stand now.
J Wizard Phoenix I think he said ham + burger equals ?? IDK
Well if you listened closely you could make out a verse about a hamburger stand. I had to listen to it multiple times to catch it. They mentioned it right after when they started the entire song. Again very difficult to catch. Hope this helped!
The science musem
I think it was a gyro stand.
Jimmy Fallon does a great Mike Love. You can tell he's having a blast doing this bit
kevin nailed brian's 60s falsetto.... dude is a multi talented master of his crafts
Me at work for 6 hours: dum dum dum dum dum hamburger stand now
That dancer in white has some great moves and is a real beauty.
00:53 especially.
@@treedy52 Wow that is a great shot . Damn
There's always money in the [removed: banana] hamburger stand.
No touching! NO TOUCHING!
You can't bring bees in here...
Arrested Development
The staff member dancing off-camera at the end is an awesome way to end this. People on this show have serious fun!
At 1:38 Jimmy’s got Mike Love’s awkward dancing mimicked so accurately lol
Jimmy Fallon, his show, his band, just too cool for words.
I will never look at the song the same again
Jimmy is killing me! 💕🤣🤣🤣 "Burger, burger, burger, at the hamburger stand now!.."
I like that the drummer is playing left-handed on a right-handed drum kit the way Dennis did
Amazing I just found a clip on Facebook and now I can't get enough of First Drafts Of Rock. Kevin Bacon you Rock❤❤❤
Nothing beats the classics!!
That was actually really good for a first draft lol. Love Jimmy's dad dance moves lol
i am a huge BEACH BOYS fan and i must say this had me rolling!!….LMAO I listen to them everyday and I must say you nailed it!!…lol
These are fabulous lyrics: Burger, Burger, Hamburger, Hamburger, Burger, Hamburger Stand Now, Burger, Burger, Hamburger, Burger at the Hamburger Stand Now, Ham + Burger = Burger at the Hamburger Stand Now and we'll have Buns, Buns, Buns on our Burgers at the Hamburger Stand haha!! :P
You forgot now
"Well, on my planet, we have a legend about... a great hero, named *Kevin Bacon*, teaches an entire city full of people...that, dancing, well, is the greatest thing there is." - Star-Lord
I enjoyed how they made fun, fun, fun of the original song and how Jimmy and Kevin sang the lyrics. And yes, the two women in the back were beautiful dancers too
Jimmy has Mike Love's dorky dancing down to a tee. We'll have buns, buns, buns...lol
Those two girls dancing in the back! Beautiful! 🎸
Oh jeez who is that girl on the left and what's her name
Left shark
Jre Dude! This was filmed in the 1960s. That lady is either super old or super dead by now.
Doc Von Doom it wasn't filmed in the 60's. They just added a filter pretended to play instruments and applied a filter over the video
TheBreakingPointTV You got trolled, son.
Jre For REAL!! What is her name. Somebody please find her. :)
This makes me happy every time i watch it
As an avid Beach Boys fan, this was absolutely hilarious!!!
Ahh!!! I love it when Jimmy does 60s stuff. More, more, more.
Another Fallon classic! This is where he shines. And yes, the girl on left is smokin....
This is priceless. Kevin Bacon nails his part and Jimmy Fallon hilarious. The sound was fantastic.
now i want a burger with extra bacon.
Lol
+muzik4me345 from the hamburger stand now?
Why is this not the number one comment?
I like the buns on the brunette dancer...
The lyrics were a sensational treat!! How could anybody not want more in an album ??? Send my love ti Jimmie and the entire cast of Beach Boys First Draft!!!
MORE!!! Can you hear us roar for more Beach Boy Parody?!
Some people commenting on here don't seem to understand that this is about comedy, particularly satire, and pretty good satire at that. They seem to think it's about hot dancing girls, obesity or that Jimmy and Kevin are trying to be serious. Wow, talking about missing the whole point.
The one missing the point is the one who thinks it's about obesity! Gawd, how naive can one get????
These were the lyrics that Charles Manson wrote and gave to Dennis Wilson!!!
You have won the comments.
BoomboxRocker LMAO!!!!! i coughed in my water! hahahaha!

CLASSIC !
Hilarious
lost how many times ive come back to listen to this song
I've had a really bad day then came across one of these skits that led me to binge watching half a dozen. Incredible talent all around. Thank you for the distraction and laughs. 💖
You gotta love Jimmy's dancing
Wow, I love this sketch! Hope that there are more to come!
Jimmy and Kevin nailed it. As did the other musicians on stage. And yes, the "beach girls" had the moves right.
Nicely done.
The Bat Dance move is too early.
Jimmy LIVES his job! It's unbeliveable how multifaceted this man is!
I didn't realize that they actually changed the lyrics until the 3rd time I watched it lol. Staring at the girl in white the whole time
I LOVE this! I come back to it time and time again!
OMG, this is awesome, Kevin Bacon as Brian Wilson, brilliant. Now this song is giving me a hankering for burgers, who wants to go to In-N-Out with me?
Let's go!!
Paulina Angel I'm down! lol :)
Paulina Angel i definitley got the in-n-out urge !!
myttast
Paulina Angel ♫ Oh Paulina and her friends are off and cruisin' to the hamburger stand now ♫
omg the girl in the white top is an angel
BILLS MAFIA
Jana Krumholtz
seriously.i was thinking the same thing.
She’s likely 75 years old now. lol
Yes, exactly 75 and nine minutes old since your post. 😊
Mike Love's cadres of lawyers on Line 1, Mr. Fallon.
LOL! I wouldn't be surprised if that actually happened!
Attending a jimmy Fallon show is on the top of my bucket list!!! Wow!!
Very well done. Very funny. Jimmy is hilarious
Jimmy Fallon every time I watch your videos a night I laugh so loud my dad wakes up and I pretend to be asleep I love you !!!!!
That was soooo funny and great!!! I love the Beach Boys and this was hilarious
I always love when Jimmy sings! I like some old music like this even though I'm 15
The dancer in the back with the black hair OMG 😍😍😍
"...and we'll have buns, buns, buns on the burgers at the hamburger stand."
That was fun. Not really funny but I enjoyed watching it.
Russell Smith That's how I would describe every Jimmy Fallon bit.
Jason Long lmao
Russell Smith Yeah Fallon Sucks
paul yoda Yeah you suck. See how that works? You say something that wasn't really what the guy was saying...and then I say something that you weren't really saying! This is fun! ;o) But yeah you suck.
Betty Spinks Yeah, I wasn't saying that Fallon sucks, just that his comedy is more family friendly. And I've been thinking about it ever since he got the Tonight Show. I don't know that its terrible that his humor isn't edgier because you have to figure out should the Tonight Show be risqué or something everyone can watch.
Jimmy Fallon has to be one of the coolest guys ever.
Great lyrics! Lol! I love how you captured the look of the broadcast. Too funny. Oh, to go back to those simpler days...
I love the beach boys! and this song! and his talk show! awesome!
THIS is truly how a great song is measured: Repeat the same lyrics over and over - if it still sounds awesome, you have a legendary hit!
As a Beach Boys fan, this is fantastic
as a young child i actually thought the title was Hamperkerstamper
Jimmy really nailed the impression of Mike Love
Fallon is funny as hell, i would totally go on the show
Genius. I can't stop listening to this song 👏👍
Love the dance moves!!
Saw the Beach Boys in Cleveland tonight, and they played part of this before playing "Fun Fun Fun." Mike Love said to tell Jimmy Fallon that their version is still better.
Fuck Mike Love. He's the douchebag in chief!!
Hola calm down, it was just a joke.
***** So true -- Love thought it was great -- they played almost the entire clip, and it was the day after it aired on the Tonight Show. They liked it enough to add it to their video screen for their concert the next day.
Holadude96 but Jimmy is the ultimate Douchebag, at least Love can write decent lyrics.
I love these skits! ❤️
The permanent Al Jardine smile, perfect!
Just got back from watching The Beach Boys in concert. Had to come re-watch this.🤣
cool ... very cool !
I LOVE jimmy fallon so much. So talented!
These are all so funny. Love them all.
You made my day!! This is so good!!
Soy argentino y fanático de Kevin. Es un trabajador incansable ....ojalá algún día gane un Oscar este genio !!!
Love this. It's like the sixties all over again. :D
I wish he'd do more like this - these are my favooooriiitteeeesss
Man, that brings back very long times when I was young. Remember this piece well till they changed it up to what it is today. Times was simple and fun in those days.
Jimmy Fallon and Kevin bacon did a great performance.
Jana Krumholtz is her name!!! Yahh!
I can't decide which of these videos is best ... all are XD
just great XD
This one may be my favorite.
These keep showing up in my recommendations
Terrific parody of one of the Greatest Rock & Roll Bands EVER!
Thumbs up to Brian Wilson for clearing the song!
AMAZING!
One of the best shows on TV.
Burger, Burger, Hamburger, hamburger, burger hamburger stand now!
I loved the whole thing and barely noticed the words being repeated because I was too busy watching Jimmy do the "tights pant" dance! LOL
They did this so well!
I love this please do more.. Maybe The Beatles??
Jimmy already did them
+Bonnie Chanel Yarbrough They've done it with Fred Armisen :)
I bet Jimmy is one hell of a husband! He is always so funny & can do anything! I love to watch him dance & I love his smile& laugh!
This shows what a great songwriter Brian is. Not just anybody can write such catchy lyrics as these! Really takes me back to the 60s!!
