His music is so mesmerized his voice everything. I wonder why country music didn't recognize this as they did all the others. Maybe bc he didn't want the fame fortune of it all. And didn't want to be a corporate sell out. I Respect that.
I hadn't seen Billy on TV in years and never heard anything about him. I was a fan in the 1990s and saw him in concert at the height of his popularity. I wondered what happened to him. He has one of the most beautiful voices ever.
This video was filmed in my hometown of Houston, Texas. I remember being a little kid, watching this video and telling my mom, “That’s Houston. We live in Houston”.

January 14, 2024 listening to this song. Hadn't heard it in many years. In the 1990s, I was a big fan of Billy and also saw him perform in person. He was on before Reba McIntire. He has a beautiful and emotional voice.

My wife and I had our first date on June 4, 1993 at Coyote Joe's and Billy Dean was sitting on a stool playing his songs about 8 feet from the table we sat at. One of the best concerts ever and a night we still hold dear after many years of marriage...Thank you Billy!

I've had nothing but a broken heart with my three divorces and haven't we all and I don't have any children that I know of but I'll tell you what I do have animals and I have a life and I'm happy I have a life and I always wish the best for my exes that's the way life is and you just get on with your life and you get your broken heart men do you have to mend your own hurt nobody knows you better than you your own psychiatrist who knows you better than you just you right so you have to get on with your life being who you are and bite the dust if it doesn't work out ain't nobody perfect remember that life goes on there's more fish in the sea right hopefully this one for us for all your singles out there
