こんにちは！ジャズドラマーの冨永ちひろです。
このDVDでは私がジャズを基礎に絞って解説します。
ジャズって、ロックやポップスを叩いている人からすると取っ付きにくいイメージがありますよね。
でも大丈夫。
マッチドグリップで解説していくし、有名曲を題材にしているので初心者でもすぐにスウィングするリズムに馴染んでもらえます。
最後にはジャズでセッションしてもらうこともできるんですよ。

昔はロック一筋だったのに今はジャズのかっこよさがわかるようになってきたなぁ
ジャズドラムってよく知らないのですが、結構激しく叩くメロディもあるんですね。素敵です。
技術云々より、音楽に生きてる人の演奏はすごいと思う。
後、カメラワークがよければなあ…
技能は素晴らしいし、超美人。
一生の師になってもらいたい。

この演奏は非常に素晴らしい。
特にピアノが際立ってカッコイイ。
ドラムと 8バースになるところのピアノソロのかぶせ気味に入る所なんて失神しそうだ。
この曲を聴くためだけにDVDを買っても惜しくはない。

個人的には Rythm A Ning が大好きなのだけれど、なぜかテーマしか演奏していない。
このDVDでは、ジャズドラムの基礎練習としてアクセントをずらして練習するパートがあるが、実際には3連の最後にアクセントを付ける事が多いので、より実践的なフィルの例のバリエーションを示したほうがためになると思った。

リズムに合わせて叩く一般的なドラム演奏よりジャズドラムの方が難しいんですか？

You just googled that LOL. The image you saw says shuffle. Dotted quarter note triplet means every other partial of the triplet.

This gilrs has real jazz groove nice cool and eazy feel.
I still don't see how. The pulse is technically always dotted in jazz if you write it out literally as 12/8 rather than 4/4 with the 8th notes assumed to be swung and instances of triplets, and none of the notes in the this line contain 3 pulses. They're at the most 2 pulses, no matter how you phrase it. 'Dotted quarter notes' would be regular quarter notes in 12/8 or (assuming the count in swung 4/4 is 1 a 2 a 3 a 4 a) 1 - - a - - 4 - - a - - 3 - - a - - 2 - - a - - 1, and this is not that.
右がフレンチで左がアメリカン寄りのフレンチっぽいけど表現豊かですごい。
レギュラーじゃないと左右の差は出にくいと思ってたけどそんなことなかった！

Awesome work , great smooth feel and obviuos technique , just needs a few Martinis to loosen it up a little , but awesome , they need me to sing for them , I can Bubb'le The fuck out of this trio. Sugoi ne .....

How are they dotted? They only take up 2 triplets. Whenever I've seen that written out the snare line is in triplets as
rest/8thnote/r/8/r/8/r/8/r/8/r/8. There's no way to write them as dotted.

40年以上ドラムやってるけどジャズやる機会がないんだよね
経験がないから駄目だそうで、なので練習してもムダだよね、
皆さん、日本じゃドラムはやめてたほうがいいよ
最近はアホンとかが支流でバカ見るのがオチです。
私も40代です。ロック、POPS、ヒュージョンなどでいらしたということでしょうか。それらとジャズの基本的にちがう部分は、跳ねないか跳ねるかの違いだと思っています。ロックで1小節が、タツタタ×2というリズムなら、それが跳ねて伸びて ターンタッタ×2になる。音符が2個→3個(4個→6個)に変わる。
経験ないから駄目、練習しても無駄、はあまりに勿体ない^^
追記
もちろん、跳ねないボサノバといった部類もあります。
No I didn't. I did now, and the thing you're talking about has nothing to do with what we're talking about. The dots on that image are for staccato not for plus half value. If they were actual dotted 1/4 notes there would be more than 4/4 in that bar. None of those look anything like what is in the vid or what I wrote out.

２拍３連はわかりますか？？
普通に３連符っていうと１拍(四分音符の１つ)に３連ですが、それを二拍分で３つに刻むやつです。
四分音符で６回のタタタタタタになります。
２泊３日とかではなくて。。。
非常に上手だと思うんだけど、何か上半身の使い方が変な気がする...
基本的に常に右手が不自然に動いているように見える
レガートがチップばかりつかっててつまらないな
もっと色々表情をつけたほうがいいな
すごい表現とかも上手いです！
でも口開いてるとそれが台無しになると思います
