Today was a good day.
kating the car free day gave me the opportunity to see the city center of Kuala Lumpur and Skate with tons of other skaters, runners, cyclists, etc.
I was testing some prototypes from micro and so far so good, can't really say a lot about them yet.

@@batabaka Ah... fond memories. Can't believe it's been over 2 years already. Time really flies. Those were my Flying Eagle F110H Black/Red skates. I have since changed the frames to Ultrasonic 125s. Awesome skates my man.

@@batabaka Well you know what they say, "everything is relative". Often times my pockets just weren't deep enough hehe... but I was fortunate enough to own a pair. Thankful for that.

Hey Lino, what up my man? I live in the u.s. I used to live in western Colorado and now I live near Lake Tahoe in California and I don't know if you know about either of those areas but they have some world-class mountain biking trails. I have ridden Trail 5 years now on MTB. Anyway, for two years I've been really going back and forth wanting to set up an off-road skate but as you know it is a pretty expensive process. I have some freestyle boots and some others but mostly aggressive. Anyway, I know the Imperial is a great boot for off-road but I've been looking at some of the micro skates as well and I kind of would like a carbon skate boot if I could. What would you recommend for an off-road boot? Should I wait for these prototypes to come out? I already am probably more comfortable riding trails than many people because I've spent hundreds and hundreds of hours reading and riding technical single-track. I want a good boot

how did you modify the clasp of your skates because they are very high and hurt. I see that you wear them loosely and you lowered the brooch for that reason. why do you wear it loose?

Bought Micro Urban Beat 110mm white skates and they are honestly horrible. Please do yourself a favor and buy known brand skates like Seba. 300€ down the drain :/
After one year of using Micro, what you can tell about this one?

So I am thinking about starting skating. I am pretty decent at ice skating but roller skating has been like 15 years. So my question is: what skates should I buy, I have been looking at the powerslide next white 100. I Have a 250 budget. maybe some recommendations.
Powerslide is good if you have narrow fit. I would recommend to search for info and reviews in UA-cam and reddit. Major brands are Powerslide, Rollerblade FR Skates or Seba.
