I agree with some other posts that those shorts are horrible on everyone. Choose a better pair of shorts - maybe some that are longer? And you still have to choose the right style for your shape, and not one style fits all. I am a 6, and I would not wear those shorts on a bet because they wouldn't flatter MY shape.

I don’t mind if I’m different sizes in different stores, but I guess it’s easier when you are thinner and averagely proportioned because you can just hold the shirts up to your body and you can tell which one fits. Maybe that’s not so easy for heavier people but idk. Or if I ever have any doubts, just get the smallest size they have. It usually fits.

Ugh I feel you! My thighs and butt are larger than my waist by a lot! I have this pair of highwaisted jeans that fit just right in the thighs but falls down because my tummy is smaller.
My boyfriend has a tiny waist (28 inches) but a big round booty (at least 33 inches, never actually measured it). His pants are always either too big around the waist or he can't get the waist of the pants above his butt. Buying clothes for him is a pain! So I definitely understand what you go through and I wish there were people who made pants for people with booties!

Hate how this is promoted. If you are a size 28 you are not healthy. Yes, for some, being a size 0 can be not healthy, but most woman who are a 0 are naturally petite, such as Asian woman. Nobody is naturally obese.
You can be healthy at a bigger size too. Where is your snowflake outrage about unhealthy thin women who may have anorexia? No you just centre on bigger women who often have COED (Compulsive Overeating Disorder)

I agree with some other posts that those shorts are horrible on everyone. Choose a better pair of shorts - maybe some that are longer? And you still have to choose the right style for your shape, and not one style fits all. I am a 6, and I would not wear those shorts on a bet because they wouldn't flatter MY shape.

i live in rural england (midlands) and i have been catcalled numerous times usually by much older men, especially when i was under age (15-17) and wearing shorter dresses/shorts etc. men don't usually catcall women if they're accompanied by a male which might be why you don't see it if you're with female friends

I don’t mind if I’m different sizes in different stores, but I guess it’s easier when you are thinner and averagely proportioned because you can just hold the shirts up to your body and you can tell which one fits. Maybe that’s not so easy for heavier people but idk. Or if I ever have any doubts, just get the smallest size they have. It usually fits.

Calling someone's diet as 'lazy' pushes people to adopt an unhealthy attitude and obsessive control over food intake.. dieting is a slippery slope towards eds, and not a mentally healthy way to encourage weight loss. also, i know many people who have been born with conditions that either make it difficult to exercise, result in hormone imbalances, and limit the diet which result in weight gain. Many people are genetically predisposed to weigh heavier, or have a larger appetite. Many people these days are on medications that cause weight gain, or specific food cravings. Mental illness such as depression can cause emotional eating. Bullying leads to insecurity, and insecurity can lead to emotional eating and unhealthy coping skills, so i really don't think calling fat people names and acting holier than thou is helping anyone other than satisfying your ego

Ugh I feel you! My thighs and butt are larger than my waist by a lot! I have this pair of highwaisted jeans that fit just right in the thighs but falls down because my tummy is smaller.
My boyfriend has a tiny waist (28 inches) but a big round booty (at least 33 inches, never actually measured it). His pants are always either too big around the waist or he can't get the waist of the pants above his butt. Buying clothes for him is a pain! So I definitely understand what you go through and I wish there were people who made pants for people with booties!
