- Assault Suits Valken 2 (重装機兵ヴァルケン2) is a 1999 RPG developed by TamTam for the Sony PlayStation. The game is a very loose reinterpretation of the original Assault Suit Leynos (Target Earth) on the Mega Drive.
Note: Please excuse the emulation issues. No PlayStation emulator handles this game particularly well.

The best game I ever played in PS1, hours an hours, ASSAULT SUITS VALKEN 2....
Kinda looks like Front Mission, come to think of it.
It's the team that designed Front Mission Gun Hazard, so gameplay and design are very similar.
@@jeffondrement160 Nope. Masaya developed and released Assault Suits Valken in 1992 for the SNES in Japan (and 1993 as Cybernator overseas), then various companies (Lucas Arts, Squaresoft) published simiilar games like Metal Warriors and Front Mission: Gun Hazard in 1995 and 1996 that had very similar gameplay and looks. This is more a Front Mission rip-off. Probably on purpose.

Hmm, so it's a loose remake of the original Leynos? Instead of Rex we got Tatsuya who's a bit more hotblooded, Lina is now a blonde and we got the EXZAS instead of the Leynos. I liked Lina more when she was blue haired, suits her more. Does Lance appears as an enemy as well in this game?
Edit: Nevermind. Just watched the video further in. He really does have a different design in each game. Argh.
The Leynos is in the game. Once Cmdr. Ford heals up, he returns in a command version of it. IIRC, there are three versions of the Leynos total. Lance is in the game too. He's actually in this video. Turn annotations on. I point him out when he shows up in the stolen EXZAS unit.
