Northern Ireland: Giant’s Causeway, Tiny Mistakes, and Stunning Coastlines (EP 44)

- This day started with a tire change, which gave me time for a quick breakfast in the nearby industrial area. Afterward, I visited Wild Ireland, a unique mix between a zoo and wildlife park. Normally, I wouldn’t visit zoos, but this one focuses on native and rescued animals.
It was finally time to cross the border into Northern Ireland, leaving Ireland behind after over three weeks of exploring. As a traveler, you could keep exploring forever, but eventually, you have to move on. I took a ferry across in the northern part of the island, then followed the stunning Northern Ireland coastline until I reached the town of Bushmills, home to the famous Bushmills Whiskey Distillery.
Although I arrived too late to visit the distillery (that’s on the plan for the next day), I made the most of the evening by heading to the iconic Giant’s Causeway. Parking didn’t quite go as planned, and I even forgot my drone, so I ended up hiking the route twice! But in the end, the walk was incredible. Parking far away gave me the chance to enjoy the breathtaking views of this magical place. The Red Trail is absolutely worth it! The weather was on my side, and I captured some stunning drone shots to share this unforgettable spot with you.

I've enjoyed watching your Ireland trip. I live close to the ferry and the beach you parked on. I ride it regularly... It's my favourite place for a Sunday coffee. Hope you enjoyed 👍👍
That's incredible 😍 I would love to live close to a beach 🥲
@travelwithevora we're very lucky... We ride the entire coast from all you see at the ferry, right around to where you entered the beach. Stunning 👌
Evora your work is getting better and better. And you are filling your heart with great memories at the same time. Thankyou from Australia.
Thank you 😊
Another fantastic video, Evora what lovely scenery and your a ace with that drone, 🙏🏕❤
Thank you 😊
The north coast is a lovely area. Hope you didn’t over indulge on the bushmills😂. Great footage of the rock formations.
🤣🤣 I don't drink alcohol
You're amazing. My heart is in Ireland especially the North west coast. Sadly I am stuck in England. I am glad you liked Benone strand. I would go there as a child.
😀 the beach is great
But England has also very nice places 😊
My grandfather and great grandad cleared the island lambay of rats when he was a young boy so they could bring the wallabys to the island. They where from rush it's a small town just a few miles from lambay island and they rowed out on a small boat everyday with there dogs also known as ratters to hunt the rats so that the wildlife could flourish without the rats who would decimate the local wildlife.
Wow 😮 what a beautiful story 😍 I would also swap rats for wallabys 😇
@travelwithevora next time you come to Ireland you can take a tour out to lambay island they brew whiskey out there as well you can take a tour of the island you can leave from Skerries Co Dublin. Check out this town as its a gem with islands, harbours, and windmills with a working bakery
@@ianfrancis2179 I'll absolutely do that ☺️ thanks

B E A U T I F U L ☘ Place to visit Wildireland ... Was lashing rain last time I was there, hopefully again in 2025 the visit will be dry. Waaaa no wolves!!
😄 I wish you luck, the sunset there is great
You captured the Giant Causeway so well .
Do you do this type of work as a job?
No not at all 😅😅 I started everything from scratch with my first video on this channel. I'm actually a truck mechanic and electrical Engineer 😅😅
Great drone shots again. How many km do you get out of a set of tyres, and the cost tyres in Ireland, in Australia they don't come cheap. I have wild kangaroos living close to where I live.
The price of the tires is At the end of the Video :) I usually use them for ~8000 - 10.000km
🥲🥲 yes but they come with huge spiders in Australia 😅😅
@@travelwithevorasorry, must have missed that. About the same as here in Australia.
Glad you walked back to get your drone ....your footage was fantastic ....such majestic scenery !!
Your trip through Ireland has been superb...such a lovely route
How much footage did you edit out... the rainy days ?...lol
Looking forward to seeing you ride in my country ...Scotland
Take care .....stay safe !!
@@andrewewan624 thank you 😊🙏🏼 I was lucky the weather stayed nice while I went back to get the drone 😅
@@travelwithevora I meant...how much rain did you have on your total trip ...that was not shown in your video's
..... curious only
@@andrewewan624 in Ireland it was ok, I think I had two days with "real" rain. I had a lot more rain in the Uk 😅😅
The occupied northern region of Ireland, to give it the correct title.
When I visited Fort Dunree I read that Northern Ireland decided to be part of the UK. Perhaps the decision would be different today?
@travelwithevora Wrong, the occupiers gave a choice, either remain in the north or they will once again bomb and occupy the entire country. Get some history lessons.
One again I enjoyed your video. I know it is not easy to know the political intricacies in every country, but just to say that no one in Ireland speaks of the South of Ireland as 'Ireland' despite what online maps and mobile phones might say. most people in Ireland view the whole island as one country - Ireland. Some Unionists don't have this view, but people might talk about going from the North to the South or vice versa, but no one would say they are going to or leaving Ireland by crossing the border. The area you videoed today on the North coast was the setting for many scenes in Game of Thrones. Danke/ Thank you for the video.
Good to know :) thanks
Hope you didn't pay to get to see them.
See them?
@travelwithevora ..giants causeway..if you bypass the shop you don't pay to go down to walk around the causeway..
