  • [Apple] Mom silently moves to new house while I am on a trip and makes me pay for the address
My mother always despised and scolded me because she thought I didn't make much money to give her. When I was on a business trip, she silently moved and didn't tell me the new address, wanting to make me homeless!

A child has never asked to be born. Saying that a child owes their parents is a loaf of nonsense. You should never put that sort of pressure on your children. Love your children, support them, bring them up to be good citizens, treat people with kindness, work hard and hopefully they will return that love to you as well. I don’t ask my children for things, but they are always there if I need any assistance. That includes my son-in-law, daughter-in-law and grandchildren.

Aubrey is the type of Mother that not even Jesus Christ could redeem. No Child should be beholding to the Parents for raising them. Respect even for Parents is earned. Aubrey's action towards her daughter earns her nothing but Contempt.

@@ire1398Baby boomers are just people born between about 1946 and 1964, or thereabouts. There is NO OTHER ACCURATE meaning or definition. All baby boomers are as different from each other as ANY other group of INDIVIDUALS. In recent years, I have heard younger people using the term baby boomers as a slur, and it pisses me off. It is NOTHING, but a group of INDIVIDUALS, born during the same 20 or so year time period. Some of those INDIVIDUALS are shitty people, and some of those INDIVIDUALS are good people, and most are somewhere in between...JUST LIKE WITH EVERY OTHER GENERATION.

@@dragonlady1360It seems in these stories, that the parents only care about the children that they think will take the best care of them...to them it is all about money, and they don't seem to want to get a job themselves...they just want to be able to mooch off their children...even though they are all younger than 62, and not old enough to draw social security retirement.

Interesting story. Communication is very important.
When people assume things rather than talk about them, they tend to get into trouble in these text stories. Like the mother in this story. She assumed a lot and had no understanding of what was really going on. On the other hand, OP finally got to escape her toxic mother.

For 3 months I won't pay you a penny, and you will have to pay it all. Let's see if you can even survive without me. If not, then maybe you'll remember why I deserve some gratitude."
