I get to Minnesota a bit, Hwy 12 Cokato, west of Minneapolis about 50 minutes with seed corn. I am just north east of Madison Wis between Sun Prairie & Rio Wisconsin and I too want to move to Greasy Hollow. besides all the obvious I'd be out of the frozen tundra and closer to my grandkids in SC

Ralph reminds me of my Dad who passed away in May 2020. Dad would tell stories from his childhood and everyone loved to listen to them. Watching your videos makes me think of him but at the same time makes me miss him more.

We’ve subscribed to your channel and love the stories and the people. My husband’s family lived near Mountain Lake in a small town called Giles, where they also had a still and his Dad and his uncles played chase with the high sheriff. We love hearing about Ralph and would love to hear more about his family. His daughters were funny teasing each other. Are there more kids and what about his wife. He seems very content with his life and we wish him more years. Thank you so much for doing these videos. We are slowly making our way through them. Whenever we watch Ralph it reminds us of our cousin who lives in Pearisburg, VA. The dialect is the same. In fact we called him and told him about these videos. We live just outside of Houston, Texas and haven’t been able to get back to Virginia because of our health. Thanks so much for bringing this area to us. We really appreciate it.

So cool he got presents from a lady in NY State. Big farm country there too. Folks think New York city forgetting that there is an entire state with farms and mountains there too.😄😘🇺🇸👍
My Dad opening presents wouldn't say thank you ,just well I'll be damned a pair of socks,(or a shirt ect.....) that's just what I needed. He'd always be the last to open his presents at Christmas because all us kids would sit and laugh at him. 🙏🙏🙏
