    Thank you pastor Jim for this series on Acts. It is blessing me so much. As a missionary here in South America, I often go into the book of Acts, searching for how Paul handled situations, what his missionary journey was like and to draw courage to keep going. May our Father bless your ministry as you are reaching into the big wide world out there ... a world who so desperately needs the truth of the Bible. Shalom 🕊

    You are so right about Spiritual jealousy. I have a testimony when the F3 tornado came right over my home, I was divinely protected and not one shingle was out of place. All of the homes around me were damaged and one completely destroyed! I gave my testimony in a church and felt the love for me dissipate immediately! So, it really wasn’t love…
    I now realize that it was a dead church. I never went back. Thank you again!

Your enthusiasm for Sukkot and your faith shines through! Shabbat shalom to you as well, and may Yahweh continue to bless and guide you! HalleluYah! 🔥🙌🏻🔥

    Also 54:2 stood out to me while studying. Still not quite sure what it means but I’m excited to see where God leads me and what He’s trying to tell me through it! There’s been so many times that God has used you and your ministry to confirm things to me that He’s been revealing to me. I’m so thankful for you, your family, and this ministry. My husband and I came to the understanding that as long as we continue to observe all those pagan days that Christian traditions have taught us, we will never move into the truths God intends for His people to grow up into Him; but will remain babes. @tomterrific47, it’s great to hear that you were blessed by the message! I understand your frustration about the differences in translations and what may be included or omitted in various versions of the Bible. Acts 18:21 does highlight Paul’s commitment to observing the feasts, which is significant for understanding his faith practices. Different translations can sometimes reflect varying manuscript traditions or editorial choices.

    This is a true blessing.. it is also really overwhelming realizing everything I've known, what I understand about Christianity is pretty much wrong and possibly ineffective. How do I now complete 180 change my life..? Food, holidays, my husband who didn't even believe or follow the Christianity before... struggling lately on how to move forward or really tell anyone.. also, where I live, there definitely isn't a church family for me. Any advice or prayers would just be so incredibly appreciated. Thank you so much for all your hard work at understanding scripture and being a true servant.

    • @PassionForTruthVideo
      @PassionForTruthVideo  4 дні тому

      Christ and Him crucified is the power behind Christianity. Unfortunately we have much that needs to be changed due to all the changes the Catholic Church made early on that ultimately robbed all of us of the truth and the blessings that follow. All I can say is that it’s a journey. Turning a train around is not easy. It will take years to realign fully. So enjoy the process and remember, He is already so proud of your heart that desires to change and is eager to assist you each and every step of the way! But I encourage you to start with the Shabbat. It’s life changing to say the least!

    Pastor Jim, I sent an email to the pastor of the church we have been attending on line. We have enjoyed his historical knowledge of the Bible and how he teaches the word of God. But I told him I was surprised that he celebrates Christmas in his church. He responded that his opinion is that God hijacked the pagan holiday and that the birth of Jesus is more prominently celebrated because of it.
    My husband and I were stunned! Since when does God need to hijack a pagan holiday???

      “For when people have once been enlightened, tasted the heavenly gift, become sharers in the Ruach HaKodesh, and tasted the goodness of God’s Word and the powers of the ‘olam haba - and then have fallen away - it is impossible to renew them so that they turn from their sin, as long as for themselves they keep executing the Son of God on the stake all over again and keep holding him up to public contempt.”
      ‭‭Messianic Jews (Heb)‬ ‭6‬:‭4‬-‭6‬ ‭CJB‬‬
      It is impossible to renew or repent. BUT it is only impossible so long as we crucify the son of God anew, which means to continue living in sin. Maybe the sin is something else, maybe it is the pain medicine, but at the end of the day, as long as we do the actual sin we seek to resist, we cannot be renewed or repent. Once we stop doing the sin in reality, God renews us and He makes it so that it is no longer such a struggle but becomes a light yoke and an easy burden. This helped me turn from sins in my life. May God heal you

    I really loved your series on the commandments. That's why I subscribed.
    I like your approach.
    What I felt like is the most important part of the bible, Jesus was all about intentions of the heart. So, shouldn't the spirit of the feast be more important than the date? Arguing about the date seems to me like the type of religion that disgusts him.
    However, thank you for your clarification.
    Since I was baptised only recently, why not do it properly.
    Sticking to scripture seems more fruitful than tradition to me.
    God bless you.🙏🏽

    Pastor Jim, I need to know about keeping the feast days. My means of transportation and funds are lacking at this time, But I want to keep the feast days. So for my question is, Is it okay to keep the feast days with the church online?

  • @johnnytangent2849
    @johnnytangent2849 5 днів тому +1

    Paul was indeed a tentmaker and that does make one think of Sukkot, the festival of Tabernacles. Jim says this is the seventh "feast" day. First of all Sukkot is a seven day festival. The first day is a Sabbath but it is not the seventh Sabbath or day listed in Levitcus 23.
    One must understand the difference between the Hebrew words moed (appointed time), mishteh (feast/banquet), chag (festival gathering) and miqra qodesh (holy convocation) in order to understand the appointments to keep with God as well as their memorial and prophetic meaning and their significance. Following traditions of Judaism or Catholicism will definitely lead one away from the biblical truth.
    I've taken Jim to task on this before. By preaching the unbiblical Jewish feast of firstfruits as one of seven annual "feasts" he ignores the actual biblical SEVENTH holy DAY which occurs immediately after the seven day feast of tabernacles. That day is the called the "eighth day" or the last great day.
    In order to understand prophecy one must understand the Holy Sabbaths of the Lord. These are not seven annual festivals. Let me explain. There are 3 annual biblical festivals (chag). They're the chags of Unleavened Bread, Pentecost, and Tabernacles (read Exodus 23:14-17).
    There are SEVEN annual SABBATHS or Holy convocations (miqra qodesh) when a meeting is to take place and no work is done. These are not feasts as the English word is defined. They're listed in Levitcus 23.
    1) 1st DAY of the FEAST Unleavened Bread
    2) 7th DAY of the FEAST Unleavened Bread
    3) DAY of Pentecost, called the FEAST of Weeks of the firstfruits unto the Lord
    4) DAY of Trumpets
    5) DAY of Atonement (fast not feast)
    6) 1st DAY of the FEAST of Tabernacles;
    7) 8th DAY the day after Feast of Tabernacles (Ingathering)
    By adhering to the tradition of Judaism, Jim, teaches the unbiblical "feast of firstfruits" as an annual holy day. Recognizing the wave sheaf day's significance is fine but it isn't one of the annual festivals listed in the bible - it is a Jewish tradition. The focus should be on the prophetic meaning and significance of the three annual festivals and seven annual sabbaths.
    QUESTION: If Tabernacles pictures the return of Christ and his tabernacling with mankind, as it surely does, is anything prophesied to occur after this? Does Tabernacles picture the end of God's plan for mankind or is there more? What about the second resurrection, the white throne judgment, the lake of fire and the new heavens and earth?

    • @PassionForTruthVideo
      @PassionForTruthVideo  5 днів тому

      You raise some important points about the significance of the festivals and Sabbaths in biblical tradition. Regarding your question about Sukkot (Tabernacles) and what comes after it, many theologians believe that while Sukkot symbolizes God's dwelling with humanity and the ultimate fulfillment of His plan, it does not represent the end of that plan.
      After Sukkot, biblical prophecy indicates several key events, including:
      1. **The Second Resurrection**: This is often viewed as the time when those who did not have the opportunity to know God during their lifetime will be resurrected to face judgment.
      2. **The Great White Throne Judgment**: This judgment is described in Revelation 20:11-15, where all are judged according to their deeds.
      3. **The Lake of Fire**: This represents the final judgment for those who reject God's grace and choose to live apart from Him.
      4. **The New Heavens and New Earth**: Following the final judgment, Revelation 21 speaks of a new creation where God will dwell with His people, wiping away every tear and ending death and suffering.
      In summary, while Sukkot is a significant celebration that points to God's ultimate plan of redemption and His presence among us, it is not seen as the conclusion of God's work. There are indeed more prophetic fulfillments to come, reflecting the ongoing nature of His covenant with humanity.

    Do you have a teaching on the Ahab/Jezebel dynamic sweeping the world?

    • @PassionForTruthVideo
      @PassionForTruthVideo  5 днів тому +1

      The Ahab/Jezebel dynamic, rooted in the biblical narrative of King Ahab and Queen Jezebel from the Book of Kings, symbolizes a complex relationship between power, manipulation, and moral compromise. In this context:
      1. **Ahab** represents a figure of weakness or moral ambiguity, often swayed by external influences. He is seen as someone who compromises his values for power or approval.
      2. **Jezebel** embodies manipulation, control, and the pursuit of personal agendas, often at the expense of others. She is a strong, assertive figure who uses her influence to achieve her goals, frequently undermining moral or ethical standards.
      In contemporary discussions, this dynamic can be interpreted in various ways:
      - **Leadership and Influence**: It reflects how certain leaders may compromise their principles under pressure or influence from more dominant personalities.
      - **Cultural Commentary**: The dynamic can also be seen in societal trends where manipulative behaviors are rewarded, leading to ethical dilemmas.
      - **Gender Dynamics**: It often sparks conversations about the portrayal of powerful women versus weak men, highlighting societal biases and stereotypes.
      Overall, the Ahab/Jezebel dynamic serves as a cautionary tale about the dangers of moral compromise and the complexities of power relationships in both personal and societal contexts.

    Is it wrong to observe the feast days outside of Jerusalem?

    • @PassionForTruthVideo
      @PassionForTruthVideo  5 днів тому

      The question of whether it is wrong to observe feast days outside of Jerusalem can depend on various religious and cultural perspectives.
      In Judaism, for example, the pilgrimage festivals (like Passover, Shavuot, and Sukkot) traditionally involved traveling to Jerusalem. However, many Jews today celebrate these festivals wherever they live, as the Temple no longer exists. This practice is widely accepted within the Jewish community.
      In Christianity, different denominations have varying views on the significance of Jerusalem. While some may emphasize the importance of the Holy Land, most Christians, Messianics celebrate Biblical feasts and appointed days in their local communities without any perceived wrongdoing.

    Pastor Jim, yesterday and today we remembered Yom Kippur - Day of atonement. We follow the wheat and barley Calender. I know you follow the Hebrew calendar. No big deal. I don’t believe it’s a salvation thing. I’ll probably celebrate it again with the rest of the world- lol. But I have a serious question to ask you. Are we supposed to fast (afflict) for the 25 hours? I’m struggling with the fasting and the asking for forgiveness because I feel like it cheapens our Messiahs sacrifice. He bridged the gap (rom 5). I watched your atonement video from 2023. It was great. But you didn’t mention HOW we are to remember in much detail and others say we are to fast and it’s a somber day and we’re to be asking forgiveness and honestly, I’m thinking we repent and ask forgiveness any day, any time because of Jesus!? Can you please help me with this? I need to know what we are supposed to do now that Jesus came. I fasted from sundown and prayed and did all the things, but it didn’t feel right because I couldn’t stop thinking about Yeshuas blood. Thank you!

      Thank you for answering. I am still conflicted on the sacrifice that Jesus did on the cross and us being able to now go to the Father directly anytime we’ve sinned and repent vs the way they used to have to do it before Messiah with the high priest and the animal sacrifices. It’s just so confusing. I love learning about the Holy Days, and I know the Fall Feasts point to the future, and that God says in Torah that these will be Forever. But going through the motions of Yom Kippur with the fasting and praying and lamenting and asking YHVH for forgiveness feels weird since our Savior has already come and we can do all that at anytime and not wait until the one day a year. Either His blood covers my sins and I can go directly to Him or it doesn’t and we have to wait for this one day a year to repent and ask for forgiveness. I’m probably not explaining it correctly…
      Thank you for all your teachings. I really learn so much. God bless!

    Problem! Your view of Jealousy can be greatly mistaken for Pride! Or is it that Jealousy comes from pride? If you didn't think you were so great? Would you be jealous? If you were humble would you think you deserve as much? If not more than another? Pride is what must happen first before jealousy!
    But good stuff! Good video!

    • @PassionForTruthVideo
      @PassionForTruthVideo  5 днів тому

      Jealousy and pride are indeed closely linked, but they can also be distinct emotions. Pride often stems from a sense of self-worth or accomplishment, which can lead to feelings of jealousy when we perceive others as having what we desire. If someone has a strong sense of pride, they may feel entitled to certain achievements or recognition, making them more susceptible to jealousy when they see others succeed.
      On the other hand, humility can shift our perspective. When we recognize our own limitations and appreciate others' successes, we may feel less inclined to compare ourselves negatively. So, while pride can fuel jealousy, humility can mitigate it. Ultimately, the relationship between these emotions is complex and varies from person to person.

      @@PassionForTruthVideo and that was a great video! I just want to express that given that Satan was made the full pattern above all other angels and then became jealous? Wouldn't that mean that people who think Satans main sin was pride, are not so wrong? And the solution would be the opposite of pride which is humility? None of this is done to attack you as I do a lot of what you say as I will only listen to so few in these days of Ezekiel's famine! Famine for the word.

    Hasatan wanted to be like the most high and wants people to worship him instead. And he's also always accuses us. That sounds more like jealousy than pride. I wonder why they came.up with pride in the first place.

    • @PassionForTruthVideo
      @PassionForTruthVideo  3 дні тому

      These are the reasons why pride is often linked to Satan instead of jealousy:
      1. **Aspiration to Be Like God:** Satan's desire to be like God and receive worship is viewed as pride, reflecting his attempt to elevate himself to God's status.
      2. **Function as Accuser:** While Satan's role in accusing humans might resemble jealousy, it highlights his aim to disrupt their relationship with God.
      3. **Pride vs. Jealousy:** Pride is highlighted because it signifies rebellion and the quest for self-exaltation, as interpreted from Isaiah 14:12-15 and Ezekiel 28:12-17.

    Paul was a deceiver. He played the part of a Torah keeper, to then divide all he could from it, through his revelation. Galatians chapter 4 clearly says keeping the feasts and sabbaths and high sabbaths are bondage and lead to death. He also said, circumcision, keeping the law, and following Moses is a ministry of death. Choose to follow the gospel of YESHUA Matthew 7:24-28 or join the sand and fall.

    But God is also jealous, no? It's actually the first characteristic that He revealed to us about Himself. So important that He put it in the first commandment (Exodus 20:5-6 & Exodus 34:14). They both seem to share the lion comparison as well: God compares Himself to a lion in Hosea 13:7-8 & Isaiah 31:4 and there's the more famous quote in 1 Peter 5:8 where the Devil is being compared to a lion. This is very confusing... I'm gonna stick with the Peaceful Lamb!

    • @PassionForTruthVideo
      @PassionForTruthVideo  3 дні тому

      Your question addresses complex biblical themes:
      1. **God's Jealousy:** In Exodus 20:5-6 and 34:14, God's jealousy refers to His desire for exclusive worship, emphasizing His commitment to His covenant with His people.
      2. **Lion Imagery:**
      - God as a lion (Hosea 13:7-8, Isaiah 31:4) symbolizes strength and authority.
      - The Devil as a lion (1 Peter 5:8) represents danger and threat, urging vigilance.
      3. **The Peaceful Lamb:** Represents Jesus as the "Lamb of God," symbolizing peace and redemption, contrasting with the lion imagery.
      The use of similar symbols for God and the Devil can be confusing, but context reveals their distinct meanings. The preference for the "Peaceful Lamb" highlights God's aspects of peace and redemption.
