The 4 Zeppelin symbols are something they did for their 4th album, they each chose a symbol that matched them and that was the title of the album, the only thing they put on it. I have the symbols as bumper stickers on the back of my car! :)

Just heard the movie 'Brian's Song' was a gift today. The original from the 1970s is the one to watch. Starring Billy Dee Williams (Lando from 'Star Wars') as Gale Sayers & James Caan as Brian Piccolo in a beautiful friendship movie. One of the best sports guy cry movies. Tissues required with the popcorn.
I can relate to not knowing where to place all the musical goodies. I have done stagehand work setting up and getting things ready for concerts then tear it all down after the show is over off n on for a lot of years now. What started off in just one room eventually took over the entire house. 4 steamer crate type of footlocker filled with guitar picks , photos of me with the talent , tour books , t shirts , etc. That was when I first started putting things out on display
What fun to just hang with you guys like Christmas morning. I will mention it might be a good idea to make a scrapbook of all the letters you've received. It would probably become huge, but a great way for you to keep those memories.
On the Led Zeppelin poster you guys were curious about the symbols on the bottom of the poster? Those same symbols are on Led-Zeppelin's fourth album Called Zoso which is one of the symbols on the bottom side of the poster. Each of the group members chose a symbol to personally represent them as their Rune. Zoso is Jimmy Page, the Feather in the middle of the ring is Robert Plant, the 3 trinangular shaped Olympic looking rings joined together is John Bonhams Rune, and the strange looking Thor rune that can also be found on Thor's hammer that is also triangular shaped is John Paul Jone's rune. Cuz the band members of Led-Zeppelin were heavily influenced by The literary works of Tolkien I am sure, The Hobbit and Lord of the Rings, they wanted to make the runes part of their gimmick as a band, Led-Zeppelin's music has Tolkien references in the songs like Ramble On, Immigrant Song, Misty mountain hop, Battle of Evermore, Stairway to heaven(Audio studio version), Over the Hills and far away, No Quarter, Achilles last stand. You guys need to react to the Lord of the rings trilogy movies sometime if you are into those types of movies, you guys got alot of cool stuff especially the Funkle pops figures, I remember my son's mom occasionally stealing my shirts to wear herself. I feel you Jay. That's Amber' s way of having you around her when you are not physically there right next to her, ya know? That's what my ex wife used to tell me when I asked her why she wears my shirts? It was like when I couldn't be around, she'd wear my shirts to smell my scent and that would keep her content until I got home from work. I dunno? Cool packages, I still owe you guys a doors poster of Jim Morrison shirtless wearing his necklace. I haven't forgotten about it. I have been busy with things, but I will get around to it.

I think you should put the posters on the ceiling😊 There’s a head shop in Cincinnati called ‘The Cupboard’ and the entire ceiling is covered in posters! It looked really cool!!
The Buddy Holly Story is one of the best rock and roll movies ever made. Definitely react to it. It was the first movie in my life that was so good I actually sat in the theater and watched it twice in a row. Brian's Song is also a great film, but be prepared you will cry. And not just Amber....

Ohhh, guys. Can I just tell you? "An Officer And A Gentleman" is an absolute gem of a movie. You will both enjoy it so much. Also I heard you mention "The Buddy Holly Story", another great great film. I really hope that you watch them soon.
BTW, "Rocket Man" is a movie about Elton John starring Taron Egerton, who does a fabulous job of portraying Elton. Taron also sings the songs himself. 🎵

The record Avalon that you got is Roxy Music's 8th album, and you'll probably enjoy it, it's smooth. The band Roxy Music is British and so it's not surprising that they called the album Avalon, after the legendary Island of Avalon. The island is a magical place where the legendary Excalibur of Arthurian Legend was forged, and Morgan the benevolent sorceress brought the wounded Arthur to be treated for his wounds after his final battle at Camlann, in which Arthur either subsequently died or escaped death, was fatally wounded while fighting either with or against Mordred, who also perished depending on which writer is chronicling the story. The Arthurian writers were not a congruent lot, that's all I'm saying; in any case, enjoy the record.
The song Avalon is such a smooth song. Iconic.

It pulls off the same magic trick that Steely Dan achieved with Aja and the Blue Nile did with Hats: music that is as precise as a Swiss watch but still has soul. It’s an artfully assembled soul, yes, but it’s soul nonetheless. Every song is totally frictionless and hangs in the air like a cloud of designer perfume until it dissipates into the listener’s subconscious.

As lifelong pierced-earring wearer, I recommend you find a really cute pair of sterling silver studs for each of your girls, and have them wear those ALWAYS whenever they don't have other earrings in. It'll keep the holes from closing up, and the silver won't irritate their ears. :)
I always used either gold or silver sleeper earrings or a small hoop when I don’t want to be bothered with changing my earrings
I'd say get a real piercing (Tattoo shop) and not a Department Store piercing.
I have 3 earrings in 1 ear and 4 on the other, got small silver hoops, almost hinge like, I keep them all in all the time ~ mk

OMG "Brian's Song" is the ultimate football fan tearjerker for even the toughest of guys. Bring the popcorn and a box of tissues.
DO NOT decorate all the way to the bottom until "Lil man is much bigger .. once he starts hard core crawling and walking he will be all over the place grabbing at all the pretty colors . Then you also have to deal with the drawing and coloring on walls phase !!! After those phases are behind him , you will be able to decorate to the floor ... unless or until you get a puppy ... But in true hippy fashion as we did in my youth ... You could put posters ALL OVER the ceiling 🙂 Especially if they are framed or in laminated covers .

Remember going to a movie theater where die hard fans of the movie hung out. Lots of people were in costume. They knew the movie so well that they would say the lines along with the characters. They were so exuberant. It was a wild, bewildering experience. Loved every minute of it

In America they were mostly classified as Art Rock. “Love is the Drug”, “Dance Away”, “More Than This” and “Avalon” are some of their hits. They also made a successful cover of a song by John Lennon: “Jealous Guy”.

The Buddy Holly Story won OSCARS... good movie. Brian's song is a touching tv movie and based on a true story starring the late great James Caan. The rabbit scene in Monty Python is my favorite part... great t-shirt!

Speaking of Prince, definitely react to his movie "Purple Rain". It's a very enjoyable film with a killer soundtrack of Prince's songs as well as The Time. Morris Day who was the lead singer also was in the film. You guys will enjoy it and it ignited Prince's career to the stratosphere. Nickleback is known mostly for the song "This Is How You Remind Me" which was Billboard's number one song of the year for 2002. People either love or hate this band.

I live 15 min from the 69 Woodstock site. I met the promoter Michael Lang, original sound guy Bill Hanley,Arlo Guthrie, Melanie, Country Joe, Richie Havens through the 90's and early 2000's. Cool to see others geek out over woodstock. Cool that you got a piece of the stage.✌🤪
Guys, regarding one of the movies you received........So, "Sargent Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band" is a Beatles album, and may be be the most famous album of ALL time. lol. The movie that someone sent you is a musical released in the 70's, where the Bee Gee's and other bands like Aerosmith covered the Beatles' music. Admittedly, not the best movie, but the music is of course, amazing. With some of your favorite bands, doing covers to Beatles...it's right up your alley.
