He has that true old school Raider hard playing love for the game. This is a young man this team needs and I really hope he stays healthy and gets several position setting contracts with the Raiders over his career. As a Raider fan I wanted to trade down in the 1st and get this guy but Bowers is a special weapon so I understood the pick. To see this young man at 44 it was a no brainer. I thought Dallas would get him in the first but we got him in our trenches.

However he sounds like he has a real love/passion for the game, and even if he does become injury prone in the league, I much would rather have that and his heart versus someone that stays healthy and is looking for a payday. After watching this I’m so excited to see a lineman play, never have I said that before about a lineman draft pick for the Raiders. I hope he has a great career regardless if it’s on our team or not.
