$1000 track, Tasmania. SUBSCRIDE, it helps us to bring out more content. SHOP - www.sidetrackedaustralia.com.au Gear we use - bit.ly/33nrM3H Thanks for watching.
well my only gripes with this so far is that you guys stand around in the death zone whilst winching and snatching and i havnt seen you put a damper on the strap or winch line. also for the stumps, you could have walked through with the shovel and saw and cut the stups as close to the ground as possible to avoid tyre damage or worse. other than that, id love to do this track in my '09 grand vitara
If that keep is doing it, I'd have good chances in mine. And being IFS/IRS I don't have to worry about diff drag. My old 95 estate would have eaten it up. Locked, 33's and shaved diff. Thing went everywhere. ❤️
I'm due to be in Tassie myself right now, but covid said no, so rescheduled til April. That was about the only track we weren't going to do. Bog holes, mud and a heap of winching doesn't seem fun to me. Happy to watch others do it tho 😀
What an epic trip. Not sure if it would be fun to drive or frustrating being it looks gnarly. Side note who are the other two fellas, jordan and angus? The curly haired fella is a legend always digging in the mud to recover the cars never hesitates lol. I assume the other guy helps do the camera stuff as we dont see much of him. These guys seem like legends to help the channel out in such a big way. Great channel.
I can also vouch for those front runner chairs. Bought them cause i seem them on this channel. Great chairs, pack up small and are light asf. Only con id say are the storage pockets are to small for anything. Other than that these are the best chairs ive ever had.
Can someone answer me please. At the start of the video, when the Jeep used the winch, where was the smoke coming from? Engine or winch? And using it like that, does it cause any damage and what would be the worst case scenario in that situation something that you wish would not fail, from over heating. Thanx😁
@@darrenc4096 do the smitty built winches not have duty cycle? Most winches say to winch on for 30 winch off for 30, even the more known brands. These smitty winches look like awesome bits of kit!!!
Nothing about that track looks fun to me. Each to their own but I'd rather be driving along a beach perching up for a fish and a tin in the sun.

Not big enough tyres on Vitara, need 35's. I have done it twice.

These boys do it, so you don't have to - you're welcome! Love binge watching this series!
Angus certainly was working pretty hard. Great teamwork guys

Can’t wait for the first Landy trip!
Me too
Awesome.
what a journey!
Hey boys are those Front Runner chairs? If so how do you rate them?
Love them! We've given them a hiding over the years, still work as they did on day 1!

This is fun right...?...like a good day in the surf. Thanks guys.
Let the treck begin! Love the videos lads! Cant wait to get outa lockdown for a trip other than my local shops 😂
Posted it after you sold the Jeep 😉
Sick episode boy's 🤙 love it!
I'd love to go to 4WD'ing in Tasmania, but these videos make question that. I hate bottomless mud pits 😅
Watching from Kenya 🔥🔥🔥
You guys are legends. 👍👍👍
On the plus side, there won't be much traffic.
Absolutely loving this series guys! I’d rather be watching you than driving those mud pits.
You blokes are next level :) top blog as usual….
26:35 make you want a beer much? Hahaha
Can someone answer me please.

Engine or winch?

Thanx😁
I reckon it was steam, cold water, hot engine
@@NevErSn0w 👍
I get what your saying, but at that part of the video at the start there was no water?
But thanx
👍
What winches to you guys run? - you certainly like giving them a workout!
Cheers
Smittybuilt winches I believe.

It's sad to watch unprepared vehicles being dragged with winch down the track.
