The guy in the black shirt was clearly unbiased. The general consensus seems to be it’s really good but people have a hard time with the 90$ price tag. IMO the fact it goes for 75$ in some stores and it’s a “hard decision” to justify the price makes it a great choice for many and one of the best celebrity spirits. Great video.
A good whisky is a good whiskey regardless of who’s behind it. I really think if the price was a lot better I’d buy this whisky again. Feels like a whisky that doesn’t require your full attention. It appears to be a fairly toyed-with rye catering to a specific part of the population that is not familiar with how ryes generally taste (straight) and is eager to part with its money. I'm not surprised it's smooth. When you're under 90 proof, that tends to be the case. Props for grinding out that drive to post the review. Take care.

This isn’t even a straight rye. This is just an American rye. So they can add all kind of artificial flavorings and chemicals and not tell you. This isn’t unusual because the parent company of the master blender (Moet Hennessey) adds all types additives to their Cognac

Its a really nice bottle to display! I was actually sipping on this the other day. Ended up having 5 cups of it. It's a really easy whiskey to sip on. I think if the price was a lot lower I'd buy it again. -Adan

My wife bought a bottle. I give it a 6.5 but the price point is just not worth it. There's so many great whiskeys you can buy for 50 bucks and under. I enjoy bullet bourbon better than this and it's only 20 bucks.
Keep in mind this isn’t STRAIGHT American Rye. This is just American rye. That means they can add sugar, wood flavor, artificial color, chemicals, oil and other crap. And they don’t have to tell you about it. This is basically a rye cocktail in a bottle for $90

This is a lot of speculation. Most small whiskey companies don't even do stuff like that but you are making the assumption that a billionaire who could buy most small whiskey companies would? Why even add sugar or anything else when it's been in a sherry cask? You aren't making sense bud.
