0:08 the host went for hug but Margot crossed her legs and sat back. Maybe she's tired of giving all these back to back interviews with similar questions, but that seemed rude.
I don’t think Margot had any intention of looking/being rude. I just think maybe she didn’t get the cue or stayed sitting because she wasn’t comfortable with a hug. Only Margot knows what happened. I see the best in others in these situations because Margot has never been rude to anyone from what I’ve seen.
That's because Amanda doesn't ever truly interview anyone. She just annoyingly gushes over everybody and uses silly catchphrases and buzzwords. She essentially just interviews herself.
When I watched this interview for the first time, I also thought Amanda went for a hug and Margot didn't react. Not because Margot didn't want to hug her but because she missed that moment because she wasn't expecting it. But now after I've watched this interview a couple of times, I don't think the interviewer went for a hug. Also, Ryan just stood up to give her the Barbie gifts. I've seen many other interviews from that day with different interviewers which means that Margot and Ryan had back to back interviews and the interviewers know that. So I think the interviewer comes in and they greet each other from the distance. Then the interviewer introduces herself/himself and starts with the interview. Looks like that's just how it's done.

I asked them what their first reaction was when they saw themselves for the first time in character, I asked about weeKENd activities, and I asked which accessory would come separate key with their own personal Barbie and Ken all while incorporating some puns that were Barbie and Ken approved 💅 Maybe you should watch it again?
Ryan’s commitment to not killing himself this press tour is unmatched. 😂

I noticed that too. I’ve seen that during these interviews, Ryan has been way humble.
