My understanding is the "doe" person doesn't really identify as a deer but its partially an absurdist performance act to make "normies" have a reaction and undermine the concepts of gender. @@ataridc I don’t know about it being an act. Maybe Doe isn’t doing it, but that video of the deer security council member bustin a nut to getting her head rubbed as a deer seemed real. I think what happened was Destiny actually watched some of Fuentes’ content and changed his views accordingly. He always says that you must accept descriptive reality, but prescription can still be argued and the same is true here. Fuentes doesn’t seem to have that SUPA hatred for Jews that Destiny thought he did, but his ideas are still dogshit so Destiny will just attack him on those.

The alt-right did die as a movement after Charlottesville. However, many of the people who were involved in the alt-right have not gone away or changed their views. The name has now changed to being called the "dissident right". This involves people such as Keith Woods, Joel Davis, Nick Fuentes (though arguably more separate), Eric Striker, Mike Enoch, etc. In fact, these circles on Telegram are growing pretty fast.

By contrast, Richard Spencer, even with his ethnic advocacies and soft separatism, is an intellectual moderate because he doesn’t sit around in denial of basic scientific facts on climate change, COVID, vaccines, or even progressive policies. As of now, the policies and ideas he advocates for would still yield benefits for all Americans and interestingly enough, most European-descendent folk by proxy. Unlike Fuentes who epitomises values and outlooks similar to the Taliban. Hell, he’s even said as much from time to time.
The Groypers are leaps and bounds worse and Destiny has lost his perspective because lately, he’s been joking around with this crowd (who are desperately trying to normalise their values for him) just as he did when he got enamoured by Hassan many moons back. It’s weird to play the just a joke card when Destiny still selectively gets upset at people “just making jokes”. He dropped “you’re white” jokes because he thought some people were taking them too seriously. He denounced Keffals on Twitter for ratioing and “just joking” to avoid criticism.
Now when Groypers are “just joking”, he has a list of reasons why it’s not as bad as you may think- how their inner, unspoken but definitely genuine feelings about the jokes they make actually absolve the harmful ideas they may or may not perpetuate. Like come on, be consistent if nothing else.

Alt right is over as a self identified movement because great replacement theory is mainstream in big part due to the last election. Its like saying “oh the tea party is gone” sure because it became mainstream in the Republican Party and that party has moved down the river their further along in their right wing trajectory towards far right populism. I’d say 2016 alt right politics are just republican politics now which was always their goal.
Certain beliefs and attitudes create a vector and events put moment behind them but I think this was always where Republicans were going from Nixon onwards.
Keep in mind Destiny lost the ability to stream on twitch, therefore basically every panel show other than Fantiqs.
Nick has a platform with a bunch of people that are going to be content for people eat up.
That coupled with Destiny's view point of transactional friendships makes me think they are using each other.

For starters, Laurens own sources from said video indicate that the largest influx of 'foreigner' we're Polish, yet she chose to editorialize by pairing it with infographics depicting a black horde overwhelming the UK. She had (and still has) no interest in depicting "statistics" in a sober and dispassionate manner. So if I am hearing this right. The old Alt-Right has been mostly destroyed as a group. But because they lost due to of some of the more extreme views they held and not their whole ideology it has allowed several of the former alt-right people to re-brand and drop those more toxic talking points. This new form of the alt-right is now rising in popularity and no one seems to be taking them on where they are at, instead relying on the old arguments that defeated them in the past. This is leading to them gaining more popularity because they don't hold to the points people are attacking making their attackers seem delusional. It sounds like to me that Destiny is clearing the map of old information and is instead looking to reset this battlefield of ideas to engage them where they are at. I think that's a great idea. If Destiny can make Nick look as ludicrous as he has Haz, I think this will be a good thing.
I view Destiny as an argumentative arms dealer. By meeting with people who he disagrees with, fully understanding their views and showing he understands them, then poking holes in their arguments, at the very least he can get people questioning about what they believe. His arguments can help people break through the bubbles they live in and see the world a little differently. In order to do this he has to be willing to talk to anyone. Otherwise they will just claim they are too scared to talk to someone who really understands the idea or something like that to give people an out for staying in their bubbles. Basically this is the problem with deplatforming. Anyway, I am looking forward to this arc and I hope to learn something useful from all this.

I mostly agree here but I worry that Destiny's anger towards the left is causing his "pendulum" to swing the other direction, causing him to be less combative with actual nazis (like Nick Funetes) which in turn makes his ideas (Nicks) look more appealing.
Part of what made Destiny so popular and effective against the alt-right is he wasn't afraid to pull punches, be combative , and I haven't seen that with this new Nick Fuentes arc. Granted, I haven't watched everything but if he continues to look to buddy buddy with Nick and helps grow Nicks platform (Chodi or whatever the fuck it is) then Destiny is ultimately doing more harm than good, from my perspective.
I guess we will see how it plays out.

I think the main issue I have with this line of thinking is that the Alt Right may have disappeared as a vocal, unified group after Charlottesville, but that doesn't mean a lot of its most vocal personalities and pundits suddenly became moderates. I don't think guys like Fuentes and Spencer - both of whom are way into the JQ - suddenly stopped being fascists personally just because it again became unfashionable to be one. Hell, the entire movement started as a way of promoting fringe far-right ideology in a palatable way for mass audiences, and only shifted into being more overt with the election of Trump, who a good chunk of these types honestly believed was going to be the start of a new US turn towards far right ideology. The only reason Charlottesville happened is because these guys thought they won. The fact that many of the alt-right figureheads have gone quiet after the election and their team "lost" is most likely them falling back into the older days where their politics were kept on the DL and heavily disguised and obfuscated.

I think that latest ban off Twitch really affected Destiny big time. He seems depressed and a bit off his game. Twitch is what made Destiny into what he is now. It made him into a millionaire and afforded him high quality girlfriends and clout. Streaming on UA-cam is not the same for him and you can tell. He may not say it but he truly misses Twitch. That was his home for over a decade. I also believe he semi or outright blames lefties for his ban. So of course he may have some issues with them. Also, some right wingers are being kind to him, while some on the extreme left (younger people) are bashing him.
It remains to be seen if he will go more center right as he gets older, which tends to be the case for a lot of centrist liberals. They just tend to get more conservative as the younger generation form their "newer" liberal ideology. It happened to Bill Maher and others like him. In his younger days (Gen X) the 80s, he was the young liberal who the older generation were whining about. Now that Bill is the older generation, he is the one whining about this new generation. It's just the process of getting old and now Destiny is starting down that road of not getting or frankly not understanding about how the newer generation thinks or want to live their lives the way they want. Destiny always says to accept desctriptive reality and debate on prescriptive grounds. The same is true here. Yeah Destiny made a miss here. I've watched Nick since late 2019 till he got banned (so footage from 2018->2020). He would constantly say "Optics check" and say that the alt right are dumb for their open discrimination. His thing was covert racism. Less covert nowadays lmao.
