Stayed in Emerald Island last year and it was great! Really nice site, loved your vlogs from the past series! This is great as looking to book for another trip 🏰 🎢
Oh that’s great to hear, we are looking forward to staying there. I saw something online the other day and people said it’s really noisy there, so I was getting worried! Thank you for watching :) xx
Just watched all your Florida vlogs and I am beyond jellll !! I stayed in emerald island every year growing up and it’s such a lovely place - never had a problem and the villas were great one thing I loved was the security too it felt so safe. You’ll have so much fun again I’m hoping to go again in 2025 with my boyfriend and finally show him how amazing Florida is ✨✨🫶🏼
Ahh thank you so much for watching, i really appreciate it. Vlogging our trips has been a great way for us to get some tips and also share our tips and experiences along the way. Also definitely agree with you about the security at Emerald Island, we went for a little drive to scope out the villa in October and went down the driveway and went too far we asked to go in to turn around and there were like no, reverse out lol.. so at least you know they don't let in any randomer!! 2025 will be a good year to go, especially with Epic opening!! xx
@@kimberlys_journey yes!! Epic looks unreal so far. I’ll just live vicariously through the vlogs for now until I’m back in my fave place lol keep it up you guys are fab x
These are all great tips 😊. Before moving to FL we would vacation here every year. My husband's father would book a home through Vrbo or other similar websites and he would book them for 2-3 months and invite family to come down. It's what made us fall in love with Florida and the parks. We lived in North Carolina at the time so we would just drive down but I wish we would have looked more into flying. It would take a whole day to drive to Florida ( 8-9 hours) so we always felt like a whole 2 days was spent just driving.
Hey guys! It was so lovely to chat to you both! We are currently at MCO waiting for our flight home, feeling rather sad about leaving; we had the best trip ever! Hopefully we bump into you again on another trip 🥰❤️
@@kimberlys_journey Awww, hopefully you can come back soon! Hit us up next time you’ll be back in Orlando & we can meet up for a drink around the world. 😁🍻🥂
Always book car hire through a U.K. website as this ensures it has all the essential insurances included. US car hire websites can show amazingly low prices but they seldom include suitable levels of insurance cover for non-US residents. Discount Florida Car Hire are a good company, we have used them many times and the service is excellent, cancellation is free, so if the price drops just cancel and rebook at the new price. Also, renting DVC points can be a more economical way of booking a deluxe Disney resort for close to Moderate resort prices. There are a number of companies who offer this but David’s DVC and DVC Rental Store are a couple of the main ones, you can also rent points directly from a DVC member if you know one. On the down side, full payment is normally due at time of booking and any dining/shopping credit or free dining offers Disney have available at the time would not apply. It can still work out much cheaper though. If a whole stay seems too much, some people book their stay with Disney but rent points for a night or 2 at a deluxe resort for a special occasion during their trip.
Thanks for the tips, DFCH are fab, we often use them for car hire services. And we rented some DVC points for this years trip, going to do a little vlog on our experience of using that etc later on this year. We used Daves DVC and so far had a fab experience with them. xx
Oh wow, we have a villa at emerald island booked for next October for 12 of us! See you there 🙌🏻
omg really no way, what dates are you there?
