Great interview Money B woke up my memories with this interview. Being from MN. in the 80's i was in a record pool Wide angle record store cause i was djing we played it all & didn't take sides when it came to music. When Money B was naming artists all that he named I still have those records & some 12" singles in milk crates. I also had artists of west coast 7A3, Gold money, Above the law, i also still have the 12" of Above The Law/ 2Pac, Money B - Call it what you want. My 1st Digital Underground record was underwater rhymes 12" after this song i was a fan cause i grew up with the funk & become a fan of hip hop funk. D.U. was played alot in MN. A good chunk of D.U. was played in Prince club Glam Slam & when we played the songs the floor would be packed & the songs were fun to mix with to keep the crowds hyped. Never got to see them live but boy did i enjoy there music even the naughty ones so many great memories. Here's is my send out Written giving you, your flowers to the the living members of the Digital Underground & you to Money B. Thank you all for the great music you gave us all to enjoy + the memories. R.I.P Shock G & 2 Pac.
I say this many times (Listen) to whoever when their sharing jewels with you, as you are experiencing and hearing the mind of a genius. I've always seen G. Jacobs as a wiz-kid outside of his music. He experiences life in a fun way other than music. His persona as a Humpty character made him that more interesting to look & listen to. Ladies and gentlemen, we just lost a genius G. Jacob in the same image of Nipsey Hussle. I witness Nip before I heard any of his songs. I love hearing greatness speak. It motivates me. We lost another great one, R.I.H Greg Jacobs aka shock G aka Humpty!
Rip shock G. This king from chitown. Being in the midwest we never had that rap game back in the dayz. New york the kings. But in the late 80's I told my guys & ladies listen 2 these california rappers that soulful sound with bass. They thought I was trippin. I bumped all cali artist music riding through the streets of chitown. NWA, Too short, 2pac, dj quik, spice 1, E-40, Mc Eiht, westside connection, so many it continues I still bump they shit. Now Chicago has plenty of talent performers. Black people let's Unite. We all together in the struggle of AmeriKKKa
Lonzo! Dude, y'all was the SHIT in Dallas, Highland Hills, South Oak Cliff etc.. House Calls, Surgery, and especially LOVERS had Dallas ROCKING. I know, I'm younger than you, but not by much. Niggas like you was the Big Homies to me, shit we used trade albums, cassettes you name it. It was ON!
They made a ton with Bootlegs still out thanks to SadatX and Lord Jammar and Tupac flipping bootleg tables over but yeah you cant stop bootlegging Jews and Africans fam it was tight nit not to mention the koreans
Shock G is from Brooklyn he moved to Oakland later in his 20's. Surprised to hear Money B not correct Lonzo. That is like saying Prodigy is from Queensbridge when he is born and raised in Long Island but repped QB. Shock G just moved there and repped it because of the rest of the members. Just like 2pac was born and raised longer in NYC also and moved to oakland like 18 19. They were both New Yorkas. E40 is born a raised Oakland, Spice 1 born and raised. Oakland accepted them. Shock was almost 30 years old when Humpty Dance came out so yeah he was definitely a New Yorka.
Not really man, he said the thing he heard and were able to discuss weren't foreign to him, they were both panther kids. No discredit man. Pac and Mon were brothers on many levels.
U can see the look on B face not even mourning about shock g, he knows Shock with Pac now drinking and smoking, how this man die and nobody even explained his death not even his closest friends, be wise my people
Man, as soon as I seen RIP next to Shock g's name, I was like not another one!!!! Damn, RIP Shock G

What did that license plate mean?, if anything.
Wassup with Young Hump, what is his relationship to the original Digital Underground members?
He came around in the last few years when we wanted to have Shock and Humpty on stage at the same time.
🙏🏽

A dime and a nickel.
Sooooo NObpdy gonna mention ANYthing about HOW Shock passed THO???😒😒😒😒😒😒😒
This is from a year ago
Money B Sure As Hell Don't Seem Sad Him And Shock Were Supposed To Be So Tight 🤨
@tanya welch don't believe the hype. LOL Ironically, Money B speaks about the hype, this video got re-dated. Peace to you.
And along came Covid. A lot of people lost out on a lot of money.
So Humpty is Dead???
Lonzo hated gangsta rap... thats why NWA left recording at his studios... how is he the godfaher of westcoast hip hop?????
I thought the same thing....because he didn't think NWA was going to make it. They didn't even make him look good in the movie.
Because Uncle Jam's Army set it off.
Sounds like he trying to discredit pac about the panther talk .
Not really man, he said the thing he heard and were able to discuss weren't foreign to him, they were both panther kids. No discredit man. Pac and Mon were brothers on many levels.
U can see the look on B face not even mourning about shock g, he knows Shock with Pac now drinking and smoking, how this man die and nobody even explained his death not even his closest friends, be wise my people
This interview was from 2020, so no you won't see Mon with a mourning face.
This interview is old and I can assure you the 2 beloved deceased people you just named are definitely not drinking and smoking.
Digital Underground fo eva 👃🏾
You're in the danger zone
