A minor detail that makes Stolas's childhood even sadder is that none of his seemingly multiple siblings showed up to celebrate his birthday and apparently none of them play or read books with him either. You'd think he'd be on good terms with at least one of them, but apparently not.

Was Stolas' song to Octavia really that literal? It always struck me more as just showing her theatrical visions of a _possible_ and rather extreme future, just for the sake of calming her after the nightmare- no matter what kind of nightmares she has, no matter what happens to him, to Hell, to all of existence itself, she will still be alright.

Well, we found out in the 1st episode of season two that Stolas was married off to Stella in order to have a prophetic child to be the harbinger of SOMETHING. That song could be what she is meant to prophesies. Which would make since for the Ar Goetia Stolas, who supposedly teaches mortals astronomy and herbology.
It always bothered me that Stolas sang louder as Octavia was drifting off, I'm like, "Shut up! She's asleep!" XD great song though and I agree, I feel like that's something they can pick and choose if that want it to be cannon later.
Even if Stolas is giving an actual prophesy in his song "you will be okay" in S1 Ep2, it is NOT shown with that star's destruction.
Vivzi has confirmed that it wasn't a illusion or vision, but instead Stolas had teleported to a dying star system.
His knowledge of Astronomy would give him knowledge of what stage a star's life is, so he would know if a random one was being destroyed that night and the grimore allowed him to teleport to it.

Can we just talk about the fact that normal peahens (female peacocks) are actually brown with iridescent green feathers on their necks? Stella and her brother are actually based on the rarer white form. (My family has raised many peacocks throughout the years)

That's a cool fact! It reminds me of a comment I read for one of the Over the Garden Wall episodes that some countries consider white peacocks as a symbol of death. I wonder if some of the Ars Goetia royalty get interpreted differently by humans in different countries for centuries every time they go topside (via syncretism)?

Anyone else theorizing that Blitzø might've only got with Verosika(my bad if spelled wrong) cause he might've known about the crystals and attempted to take them from her too? Could've been the same situation he's in with Stolas repeating itself now.
Blitzø also said that his job was killing people before stealing the grimoire, maybe breaking up with her required Blitzø to find another way to earth aka Stolas' grimoire.

Yeah, I've actually been posting that too. I had thought Stolas realized that when he was looking at the book and felt completely betrayed instead of him wanting to give Blitz a crystal as an apology for making sex a contract and seeing if without the contract that Blitz comes back. Either way, this is letting Blitz's business necessities weigh so much on the relationship. He could still give him a crystal as a, 'get out of my life' way, or not give him the crystal as a, 'screw you, you heartless imp', sorta way.
Something funny about being a catholic and watching Helluva Boss and Hazbin Hotel is that, I actually haven’t heard of many of these demons 😅
That's because they're essentially "non-cannon" now in the religious scheme of things.
There are a lot of versions of The Bible. It's a lot easier to convert people when you provide them something similar to what they already believe. Many of the demons/spirits existed in local beliefs so they get added to the version of the bible predominant in that area then scripted out after larger review.
Kind of like how Lucifer and Satan where 2 different beings before they eventually became one being.
Or how Jesus' Birthdate was moved to December 25th to align with the winter Solstice festivals and other pagan rituals being held.
Or changing the wedding gown colors from Blue (a sign of purity and a connection to Mary) to white to match the growing popularity after Queen Victoria wore one.
Ex- Catholic here. I never heard of Stolas until this show happen. I have known many saints and angels. They don't talk much about hell.

You mentioned something about Stolas being reborn if he were killed that jogged an interesting bit of thinking. I don't think Octavia's name is actually Octavia. I think that's a nickname! As Octavia is the designated heir to take over if Stolas dies, I believe her name is *also* Stolas, and she's the eighth demon to be born to the role (hence the nickname Octavia). That would make Dad Stolas the seventh, which is a rather significant number.
What might be cool and hint that Stolas isn't as shortsighted or naive as he seems, Andrelaphis (or whatever) being promoted to Stolas' position only for Stolas to ominously go "good luck staring into the abyss, I would not blame you for blinking" would hint at a larger thing Stolas hasn't told the rest of the family.
If Beelzebub is a "Queen" of the Ars Goetia as Bael/Baal, it would certainly fit well with what appears to be a bee/honey theme for her realm and products.

I have a prediction with how Stolitz will turn out this season, with what we saw from Asmodean crystals it appears that Stolas is young to make one for blitz so he doesn’t need to see him for the book anymore to get to earth, stolas will do this because he doesn’t want to force blitz to do things he doesn’t want to do and it appears from his perspective that blitz doesn’t really like him in that way anymore, while blitz actually does but can’t process emotions correctly, which means when stolas gives him the crystal itll come off as stolas really thinking he was just an “impish little play thing” and feel awful that his feelings were validated and then out of anger and resentment he takes Striker up on his deal again to kill stolas because it’s blitz so ofc he misinterprets stolas’ feelings and both are too in their own heads to actually talk about their feelings, this then causes some big climax where it either leaves them completely broken up, stolas dying only for blitz to find out what he actually felt, or blitz finding out before stolas is killed and then backstabs Striker, which then in turn causes them to FINALLY talk and work things out, I put my money more on the last option, this will probably be no where near the exact way it goes but it’d be cool if any of my ideas get shown

My idea with the heir and the ranks is, unless killed by angelic weapons they get reborn but with each "Kill" they lose one level of rank till they are so unimportant and powerless they can be marked on the annually "Extermination List". That at least would explain why they need heirs if they still could get reborn. Every rebirth costs power. And Power is something you either get granted by given/taken from others or being born with.
For me I think it could be that they have enough regeneration like abilities that only heaven weapons can kill them as any other weapons wouldn’t be able to stop their healing

Maybe "lower" angelic weapons -Downgrade- the demon instead of kill it? It was topic before that not every angel could kill every demon. So you need a high enough angel to kill someone like Stolas, Rank-wise maybe.

I don’t think the entire thing is birds. I think high power familys make up lots of them thus the birds. But there’s more different ones like how stolas father can turn into different things before picking an owl.
I think it might just be the pride ring Goetians are birds, hence Asmodeus being more monstrous and only really having a rooster torso and feathering, as well as Paimon shifting his forms before picking the owl.

Asmodeus is described having a rooster tail and rooster legs in some descriptions.
So, making a rooster inspired design is kinda accurate.

That star dying that Stolas & child Octavia saw was not tied to her birth. Vivzi confirmed that Stolas used his knowledge of the stars to know what star was dying in current time then opened a portal and teleported there to witness it as he sung his lullaby to his daughter.
One thing that we need to keep in mind when doing speculation on helluva boss is that it does not exist in a vacuum. It is set in the same world as hasbin hotel and runs parallel to it. Stolas said in his song to his daughter that the seven rings would collapse but she would be okay. We know that Charlie is seeking to find a way to redeem sinners and they may find it possible to redeem a demon as well allowing them into heaven so it could be possible for Octavia to be safe in heaven when hell begins to collapse (possibly caused by Charlie’s plan succeeding to well). Thoughts on this theory?
I’d say it’s solid, except for the part where sinners mainly remain in the pride ring. Even if Charlie’s plan works too well, it would only mainly affect the pride ring unless imps from other rings moved to Pride or something. And even then, the chaos would probably only last a few years or so before everything is back to normal.
Also since Hazbin is technically owned by A24, so they would need permission to include Hazbin lore to Helluva Boss.
Stella for sure wouldn't blink an eye to having her own daughter killed. She's had 0 on screen interaction with Octavia, but should she die?
Well then Stella gets to play the grieving mother. And we know she loves to act.
Honestly I like the idea that each demon would owned certain territory in each specific country’s depending on certain family’s. Also it make sense why Stolas is a bird, since it’s likely His father randomly chose what species his son was going to be or chose a bird likely due to fate.🤔🐱

I get that asmodeus is part of the ars goetia but I don’t know if the other 7 deadly princes are 100% related to the ars goetia as a whole
the irl Ars Goetia still refers to Lucifer as the top dog in hell, hence why the comment about Paimon being the most loyal to him.
For Beelzebub, that depends if Hazbinverse refers to them as the same demon as Bael/Baal.
Now for Belphegor, there is an unexpected but purely speculatory explanation for his connection to Goetia. This speculation is assuming Beelzebub is the same demon as Bael/Baal.
Both Bael and Belphegor have roots to back around the Assyrian empire and were both worshiped by the Israelites. Belphegor was known as Ba'al-Peor, while Bael was known as Ba'al Hadad. Due to being around the same area, it's speculative that perhaps both were the same entity.
So I can see how perhaps maybe Bael and Belphegor are siblings in the show. However, unlike Beel, Belphegor did not assume a position in the Goetia hierarchy prior to becoming the Prince of Sloth.
Boy i cant wait for what will Astaroth will look like and his relationship on Charlie, since Astaroth HATES Lucifer because they fall from heaven and Believes he was wrongfully judge by god. Astaroth also known to see all the secrets from the past and the future so he might have time powers.
I personally believe that Andrealphus would possibly betray Stella because I can imagine him even more power hungry than her desperately wanting to take Stolas's place I can imagine him being like Scar from Lion King that he is very willing to kill both his brother in law and his niece in order to take the throne
I am actually kinda disappointed that they changed Stella from a morally ambiguous character who was hurt by Stolas cheating on her to a one dimensional villain who can’t be relatable, I suspect they did this to place Stolas firmly in the “good guy” camp and so nobody could make the argument that Stella was a “good guy”

Can I just say, child Stolas is one of the most precious things I’ve ever seen, especially when he got all giddy about the star book.
I was thinking, since there are Nine Kings in Ars Goetia, what if each king has their own family, and in Stolas' case, Paimon's branch of the family is mainly bird themed. Maybe Stella and Stolas were related by some chance, like third cousins given how Paimon has so many children. IDk, just a thought
Had a thought when you mentioned Baal and Beelzeub being one in the same in some mythology. Seeing as it seems to be implyed Beelzebub is two entities "Beelze _and_ her bub" perhaps Beelze is the princess the Guttonly ring, and her husband is Baal the Ars Goetia member: they together make Beelzebub. two birds one stone

I honestly believe that Stolas resembles a lot like his mother and it’s a shame we don’t get much of a backstory of her.
Honestly so far the more we see of Stella the more I think she may be very capable of having her daughter killed. 1: It would hurt Stolas (which she already admitted she loves tormenting him) 2: If she and her brother are power hungry enough they could see Octavia as an obstacle for her brother getting a higher rank 3: Octavia could get in the way of Striker trying to kill Stolas and Stella already said she doesn’t care who he has to go through she just wants Stolas dead 4: If Octavia were to find out/be suspicious of her mothers plot I could see Stella putting a hit on her to just to cover her own butt 5: Since Octavia is the cautionary heir if something bad were to happen to her it could be used as an excuse to keep Stolas trapped in the marriage in order to make another heir to replace her
I obviously could be way off but so far Stella is giving me the vibes of someone who doesn’t really love her child and only had her because it was her “job” with that in mind she may even see her as replaceable
Andrealphus also pointed out that if Stolas died, Stella wouldn't get anything because of Octavia being his heir. Just another reason for them to take Octavia out as well (either with or without Stella's approval/knowledge)
I really liked that this was a longer video since I love your Hellouva Boss theories! I think it’s possible to go either way when it comes to what will happen with Octavia since Stella doesn’t seem to care about her from what we’ve seen so far so until we see them interacting together it’s only an assumption based off what we’ve seen from the current episode. Her brother we can only make assumptions but if he’s anything like her if not worse then it is possible he wouldn’t be against hiring someone to take out Stolas like she did if it means he gets the position since Octavia isn’t experienced yet. To make sure he gets to keep it I wouldn’t put it past him to hire someone to take out Octavia even if it means betraying Stella if she does care for her daughter even a little.
I think i remember reading somewhere on the Demonology wiki about Aamon is that he is the only demon stronger than Asmodeus and Barbatos. Please do correct me if i’m wrong but i thought it was interesting. Aamon can also be seen in the Lesser Key of Solomon.
Edit: it was Amaymon who had the power to Rival Asmodeus. Amaymon is the older brother to Aamon and the two usually have the same titles and are similar to each other. I’m guessing that’s why Aamon and Amaymon can be seen as the same entity.
Im going to guess that stella and her brother are going to try to end stolas before octavia turns 18 so she isnt able to inherit her fathers position as a prince
And they might bring up a goetic rule that doesnt allow a minor to inherit a higher position in power or something idk

I think it's telling that we never saw any interactions between Stell and Octavia. Stolas makes sure to address her every time they're together, while Octavia and Stella seem to ignore each other. Even Octavia doesn't talk about her.

Ok, so in Hazbin Hotel, when they're explaining who the Radio Demon is, they say he defeated ALL the demon princes, and you can see someone who looks a lot like Stolas in the list. My personal opinion is that Heluva Boss is like a kind of Prequel to Hazbin Hotel

Uh, the stolas looking guy isn't blue (though that could be a proto design). He looks red. Maybe a macaw sinner overlord, because I've seen a bird (flamingo) sinner in the Katy Killjoy scene.
I know it may not happen...but I really really hope that Paimon is supportive of Stolas, I just really want to see what would happen if Stella or Andrealphus freaked out at Paimon for supporting Stolas

The King of England was also the Duke of Normandy and Aquitaine, subserviant to the French Monarch. So its not outlandish that Asmodeus rules Lust while also being subserviant or having a fiefdom in the Pride ring.
Hmm few spitball ideas:
The unforeseen event around Octavia could be symbolism/directly connected to Stolas' future and how drastically it changed from what was expected. Stolas was a dutiful prince, following orders without question, deciphering the stars, and keeping the perfect Goetic image intact. But when Octavia arrived everything changed, Stolas now had a little bundle of joy to devote his time to, giving him a second purpose outside of his duty as a prince. Stolas did everything he could to make Octavia's life a good one, putting up with Stella's tormenting, the important job, the high expectations from the other Goetic demons, all for Octavia. Him sleeping with Blitz, loaning out the Grimoire, divorcing Stella, and otherwise upsetting the status quo, all are tied to Octavia in some way.
I believe paiamon can take any form and when he’s talking to stolas he chooses to be a owl
Either Stolas position is hereditary, which means in the event of his untimely demise and Octavia's lack of training, his brother-in-law will take over as a sort of regent; or it is like an official appointed position, which means technically stolas can be replaced, just that the one in charge of appointing happens to be his father
I wouldn’t put it past Stella to take out her own daughter not once have we seen her interact with Octavia. She wasn’t even discreet about her arrangement with striker with Octavia sitting right there
1. I would love to watch a lore vid with Luci and Satan. 2. Prophecies at the best of times only confirm when a star is in position XYZ when a particular event is supposed to happen, like on Halloween when the veils of the world are at their thinnest. 3. At this point, Stolas' job is to help Hell survive as much as possible. Theory: Stolas isn't neglecting his duties, but if he gives away certain pieces of information, things will not go the way he or other demons want them to.

I dont think stolas's song actually has any implications of the show. Hes just saying that he will always live on in her heart, even if he isnt there with her. He also just kind of knows entropy is a thing.
I think Striker is Not Just an Imp his Designe is just to diffrent to the other imps we see. I think He is a hybrid between an imp and one of the shark demons we see in the backround.

While they are in hell the show seems to go out of its way to avoid showing anything worse the murder or violance.
I mean the worst stuff shown happend to angel dust and that was in a music video.
For Robo fizz I think its because when Blitz was working in Loo Loo land along with the robo, his performance wasnt good and caused the kids to run.
Verosika might be insultingly referencing the fact that Blitz adopted Loona who as she said herself was almost 18 but still a minor so was able to adopt her

I really enjoy the mega videos and would love to get more of them and even thou I already new almost all of the info it was quite relaxing to hear you talk. Also those kind videos make you think about everything more and start to theories about what happend and what is yet to come.
I have a theory on Stella and Andrealphas parents. Their father could be (King/President) Zagan. He's depicted as a griffon. (For those who don't know what a griffon is, it's a mythological creature that had the body of a lion and the head and wings of an eagle.) There could be a chance Stella is Part Eagle. I'm not entirely sure if I'm right it's just my theory cuz Deepcut mentioned kings of the Ars Goetia and King/President Zagan is also a king with a bird characteristic. And Vivziepop made King Paimon turn into an owl. Maybe King Zagan could have Lion like fur with Eagle feathers.
Ipos is one of the members who have secondary roles within the Goetials. So Ipos is both a prince and one of the Earls.
I think birds are the general Goetia characteristic. However, because of the idea of Asmodeus and the others looking different- its possible Paimon adopts
You are showing albino and leucistic female peacocks 🤦🏼♀️ the males in that color mutation are white too.. Normal female peacocks (peahens) are brown with a green/blue shimmering neck.
A goetic demon I'd love to see is Malphas, a crow-man who's supposed to work directly under Satan and a builder of towers and citadels in hell.

I noticed how most royals that atend Stola's and Stella's party are bird themed. That makes me theorize that almost every demon rotal is a bird themed one.
Stella will have Octavia assassinated if she derives some benefits from it. Methinks Striker will go after the two forms of royalty such as Lucifer himself.

of the Earls in the Ars Goetia. He is depicted as a very tall raven man in appearance.
Imagine in the final episode; if Stella and her brother and strike have Stolas surrounded and Paimon comes in and just basically "Want me to destroy you?" in looks, nothing else

Great information, here’s a theory how about the three Gods (Odin, Ra, and Vishnu) vs the seven princes of hell.
Stella is a swan based demon. Most of a peahen is mottled grey or brown with a white belly and a blue green neck, the mostly white peahen shown is leucistic. Stella however is white with a black cere like a swan. But until vivzie confirms that's just my opinion.
i love the theroy that andrealphus might try to kill octavia but i have a problem with it. it may just be him trying to use a concerned tone for trickery but when he talks about via inherating stolas' duties, he calls her via and sounds concerned. wether its for octavia or for his status i dont know but hence he used the nickname it makes me think he doesnt want to hurt her. its just an idea tho lol
Imagine if the prophecies says that all of Hell collapses because Stolas's care more of his daughter than his work. That would be surprising. Seeing this as some sort of redeeming point for Stolas as I see him more as a good character who is just being forced to bring brink of Global Warming and Sin by the Goetia family and Lucifer.

I don't think Paimon would have a problem with Stolas divorcing Stella. Otavia's already been born. That was Stella's one and only job. I could see her having Octavia assasinated for this reason but playing it up like she's the victim, effectively forcing Stolas to conceive an egg with her again.
Also, I really doubt demons struggle with the idea of occasionally boinking imps. I'm sure it's extremely common. The most embarassing part is if it got out that Stolas had FEELINGS for an imp.

Gotta correct u on the peacock, u are somewhat right. Black shoulder is a colour mutation in captive Indian peafowl, where the females are that white colour like the photo in your video. The wild type colouration of Indian peahens tho are brown with a white chest and some green colouration

Good points all around, though i feel obligated to mention a few things. First of all being that the seven deadly sins are Kings in infernal lore, not Princes. Mammon is the King of Gluttony, Satan is the King of Wrath etc. Secondly, there's a small discrepancy with Beelzebub and Ba'al. Ba'al was once only a title in its oldest usages, one meaning "Lord." Several deties then were reffered to as "ba'al" as a way of calling them by title, rather than by name, only later did Ba'al become a single being. Finally, the song with Stolas is not a literal thing. Its metaphorical and is meant to show octavia that no matter what happens she'll be ok. Its specifically sung after she has a nightmare about Stolas. Him being discontent with the things in his book didn't read as discontent to me at all. At least not for the reasons you theorized. I believe he's discontent because of the monotony of his life. He does all this bs for the goetia and doesn't really get anything from it. All that aside, great video!
