Everyone wondering why the mom was so calm when seeing her daughter with tape on her: Likely she thought her child was having an 'episode'. Judging by her next comment "Don't get mad, Mom...please." tells us that the daughter had had previous fears that someone or something was in the house or other hallucinations & of course Mom had gone to check....& found nothing.
So she likely assumed Mom would dismiss her worries outright, get mad, & not investigate. I am not sure the transition to the park-scene was as smooth as it could be, but I understood it fully. Its the start of the next chapter in the demon -doppleganger's tale. It lured an amateur ghost/demon hunter right into its trap.

Really enjoyed it as a standalone but kinda feel like Mama Agnes 1 didn't need a sequel. I loved the ambiguity of the original - we have no idea what's happening, what's going on, what the intentions of the creature are or what happened to the girl. Now the spell is broken a little bit as the doppelganger is revealed as just a standard monster.
I don’t feel like they really portrayed the fear and urgency in the beginning. If the daughter has such bad mental issues that the mom believes she tied herself up than I don’t think it’s reasonable that the mom would have left her alone for a week while she went out of town.

To be fair, some kids are really skilled at hiding their symptoms and feelings from their families out of guilt and embarrassment, and some families are also ignorant to them until it's too late.

Not only that but did they have to be so close and is a ugly bronze face like even when they walked away and she went looking for a monster they stayed in her face is like some weird fish eye view I hate this view it's kind of disgusting I've always hated this stupid fish I view it's annoying and nerve-racking and I fast forwarded a little bit just to get off the fish eye view
I hate these freaking videos please just give them a pill and don't show what happens and I get it that your style but there's another Channel that I don't know if you came out before them or they came out first but at least they shows what happens to them and then the person dies and then they cut to a black screen you just show stuff and then cut away like that's not interesting

Nah, the daughter was too chill, the mom sees her daughter tied up and act like it's normal. The ending didn't make sense.

At first, I thought that too: Why wasn't she more panicked at the sight of her daughter wearing tape? Then once I learned about her medications, I realized the mom very likely thought the daughter was having a 'episode', that she had acted irrational many times before....so the mom's panic calmed down quickly. Little did she know....this time her daughter was right. The very end of the film? It was a ghost/demon hunter who finds...ironically.....what she was looking for. She walked right into the demon-doppleganger's trap.

@@MrWarrenRB I tend to agree. Maybe just maybe tho, the daughter thought she was uncertain as to whether she was hallucinating it or not. As someone who has been around the mentally-ill, sometimes they 'believe yet don't believe' when their symptoms show up. They want someone to invalidate their hallucinations, even though part of them believes they are real. But long story short, I agree that the daughter could have seemed a little more scared.....she seemed almost medicated. But the ending made up for it, it was pretty creepy.
There could've been more urgency in the beginning. She's tied up and the mom barely reacts and the daughter is acting like nothing is wrong.
Just saw the first one, was pretty good. Then the second one popped up and my first thought was “oh god no, they’re gonna mess it up” 1 min in and it’s already ruined 🤦🏽♂️

Loved it. Wish the young girl was more scared and panicked tbh, she's too relaxed when the situation is completly crazy 😅 And, well... she could have been more suspicious when her "mom" came back after confronting her doppleganger......
"Promise you won't get mad!" Uhh what?? That's what a kid says if they've broken a window or spilled paint on the carpet, not when there's a demon upstairs. What a weird little sequel to a perfectly fine short.

I wonder if she said that because she had often truly believed something was in the house & there wasn't....yet she had told her mom about it before. Of course when Mom investigated previously, no one was found. So the daughter may have been worried that the mom would dismiss her claims outright this time, be angry & not go up to look.
Idk man I think the first part was good on its own. I’m not really sold on this one. The way the daughter was reacting, I expected her to be the one who was replaced by the doppelgänger. I still enjoyed it but this also would’ve been even better as its own one shot.

Nahh this was mid at best, should’ve made the daughter a dopple and evoke the same fear from the last one. Would’ve made more sense.
nah this was a banger but too each it’s own, the daughter dont need to be one, it raises suspicion even more as to if she okay and do she know thats not her actual mom and that her real mom is gone 🧐 this was good, if you have a mind to think on the deep end

Part 1 was pretty good but part 2 wasnt much of anything. The mom's reaction to her daughter being tied up was laughable at best. The way she went upstairs without really checking anything was silly. The ending didnt make any sense
From the mothers movements i feel like she knows her daughter has a mental illness thats why her first reaction when her daughter was tied up was so plain buttttt what if the daughter didnt really have a mental illness the entity was her sickness that lead to her having to drink anti hallucinations but this time the entity actually had the guts to appear. The mother is concerned of her daughters mental health thats why she dont have the urgency😢 i feel both sides. Its my what if!!!!

The jump from the house to the ghost hunters is terrible. This feels like two different shorts stitched together. I started laughing when the words describing what happened popped up.

Just watched both Aunty Mabel films and both Mama Agnes films. I absolutely love the uneasy, subtle fear that just stays with these viewer throughout these flicks.

Piece of advice; don't edit the thumbnail and exaggerate features like that because instead of looking scary and appealing it actually comes off as comical and uninteresting, thus you get less views

I legit don't understand the comments, this was pretty average. It wasn't bad, yet it really wasn't the best. Like- why did Agnes try to confront the entity herself? You don't do that, you have a daughter there. Get both yourself and your daughter out that fucking house, and call SOMEBODY: a priest, the police, both dammit. SOMEONE.
It was kinda hard to keep up with the acting (as it wasn't your best), but it's whatever.
Because she obviously didn't believe there was an "entity" like any normal person lol

understandable it started getting serious close to the end, i understand where most of you are going, but overall good concept, the acting just needed to be more believable, the presence more dark considering how long the daughter been there 👀
yeah I should've included in my comment that I do like the concept, specifically how the mother thinks this is the result of her daughter not taking her pills. I also like the idea of the doppelganger being spotted lurking in the forest. however, like you implied, the execution was weak and in my opinion it wasn't realistic enough. the original felt more grounded in reality which made it scarier.
00:48 get the kid out of the house, call a priest or something. I was going to say "call the cops" but she could get shot in the face and that would be another horror story, real horror, social horror.
Anyway, another chilling story!

Mama Agnes 2 could’ve been better. Part one was more intense and had that electric energy with the fighting and thriller elements. Unfortunately, part two lacked substance, felt rushed, and was too short-even for a short film. I was really looking forward to watching it, but it left me disappointed. I hope part three brings back the excitement and delivers a more electrifying experience!
