...Every wednesday i kinda feel like a parrot perched in your shoulder, watching you draw! XDD... I i couldn,t be happier! XDD Keep the good work. Frank! 🙂
I'm with you. I have been always intrigued by Werewolf's and enjoyed movies base on Werewolves, such as The Howling, Dog Soldiers, Silver bullet, American werewolf in London etc.
Really like how freely you rough in. I understand how important "framework" is for a drawing to ensure correct proportions but I struggle with it because I just want to jump into the meat of it. Awesome mix of gesture drawing while paying attention to anatomy early on.
While I don't even approach this skill level, I may start trying to draw along with these longer Wednesday drawings if they stay at this "real time" speed... I need to get back to drawing more anyway!
I also prefer "organic" subjects and watch/listen to a few TV shows to lubricate the sketching nerve. It isn't (exactly) organic subject matter but i find my imagination being nudged by a show called "Mysteries of the Abandoned." It highlights some very odd and bizarre places throughout the world...imagine the residents in these otherworldly places. Give it a look, you may like it. I love your work and am always motivated when i watch you create. Thank you!
Is it really that easy to draw veins?? I have been drawing a long time and could never get it right. I am doing a lot of digital stuff and still can't get it to look good..lol Great work sir!
Getting back into drawing as a middle aged Asian dad. What anatomy book(s) do you recommend? What artist(s) should I copy as a beginner?
There's also a bunch of really nice Wrightson werewolf pieces in his FPG card set from the 90s.
This is a totally beautiful piece of art. I love how everything was done with just a 0.7mm pencil and HB lead. LOVE IT! 😀 👍 👍 👍 ✌

Out of the ballpark again Frank. I gain so much knowledge from your videos.
Frank you are a beast with that pencil. Still studying anatomy myself!
Amazing
This was howlingly good!
As always, amazing drawing. Thank you for sharing this wonderful videos!
Bernie Wrightson is so beloved by other artists, but you ask modern comic readers about him and they're like, "Who?"
You're a quality artist, THE SALUTE 🤯
Amazing job Frank! Loving these extended commentary videos on your illustrations
Love it. Frank as a big fan let me ask you, how do you deal with backgrounds?

Amazing as usual.

Werewolf vs. Skunk Ape!, that cryptid battle 💯💯
Thank You!
Eres genial amigo 🤔
Interesting.. I wonder if Chupacabra is similar to Dogman? :D
Increíble 💥
This reminds me a lot of the werewolf in Neal Adams Monsters, love it.
when you were listing off classic 80s werewolf movies, you forgot the best one: Teen Wolf! ...well, it's MY favorite anyway 😂
Rad! I just did a bunch of horror character drawings for a livestream on my friends channel
You should check out Dog Soldiers from 2002 if you haven’t seen it yet. A great modern monster movie.
I haven't seen it but I heard about it. I should dig it up and check it out.

There's a good (vein specific) Greg Capullo Krash Course article in Wizard Magazine that might be helpful.
36 minutes? Am I dreaming
The actual real drawing time was 50 minutes. I sped up the video a little because I was running out of memory space on my Iphone.
@frankchoartist I don’t know if you take requests but is there any chance you’ll draw Aries in one of your art demos?
Parts Unknown on CNN with Anthony Bourdain

Please, I need your paper. I don’t have much paper and your pencils cause I don’t have much pencil that even work.
0 .3 Pentel for everything, 0.7 is a crayon, Sir 🖍️🤣🖋️
