Bruce on Ed Hunter: I wasn't convinced at the start.....video games and Rock and Roll. Then I remembered what I said about synthesizers and Heavy Metal and shut my mouth.
Love these guys! They seem to have so much fun together, and are such professionals! So happy I got to see them live last month, and they blew me away!
Aside from drinking beer here, and producing the Trooper beer?

They did little bit drugs according to bruces book and nicko has admitted that he smoked hashish and did some coke. Also said that the last time he indulged to use prolly coke was 2008. Bruce did not mention names who used coke but said that there were some coke included. Fortunately they were smart enough to be sober on stage and did not use that much like american posers
Great to see TV On The Radio on the screen, sadly missed. Quick glimpse of legendary Friday Rock Show producer Tony Wilson lurking in the background too...
The biggest band within the metal-genre makes it a bit strange to have millions of fans around the globe, the biggest show's (after Kiss?) 160.000.000 or more records sold and a plane first to get Airplay after; or am I wrong?
I love the first 9 albums. After that it wasn't my cup of tea but I love how millions of people have latched on to Maiden's work over such a long time. We all have our favourite records n eras. A special band. I learnt to play the drums by trying to emulate Nicko's parts. Love the guy, so much. 😁😎😁
you are a loser since the first 9 albums include the worst album of them all, no prayer for the dying. and the band is now playing stronger than never. By the way, you would never be able to play drums, but keep lying about it, one day someone might believe you
I'm sure Bruce must've been really upset that Tommy Vance was smoking next to him. Bruce has often called out smokers in concerts, regardless if it was pot or tobacco.
@@digbyinthedoghouse7455 Adrian Too. You Can see in the Death on the road documentary , before the band Goes to the stage... Dont know about now. Dont know about Dave now too
These guys a visit humilitous certainly better than combined visual artworks 'brains under a dishdome' and inlay of Skid Row's 'Slave to Grind' (livid live), I swear I'm not angry...really, remember well. Cheers!
Couldn’t be less true considering he came back after have two hugely successful albums before returning. He was literally at his highest point before returning - Chemical wedding is considered by most metal fans as a fucking decade great record.

Nicko on the phone from the pub has gotta be one of the funniest things I've heard in a long while
The late Tommy Vance absolute Legend himself R.I.P 🌹
Awesome to see Bruce's love for grunge!

This video rocks! I love Iron Maiden! They rock my world! This video makes me laugh! Thank you for this video!
They are so positive guys. Never drugs and other bed stuff in their carrier
Their carrier. You mean their Jumbo jet?

Early 1999 was the best time of Iron Maiden (and for the fans aswell). For obvious reasons.
All their 80’s albums are essential in the collection of every Metalhead 🤘💀🤘
So are their 00's albums.. especially 'Brave New World'
@@bobbybeard1497 BNW is great. The rest are pretty good
Absolute bloody chaos! I love it! It’s just brilliant!
Dave Murray for president
Amazing!!! RIP Tommy Vance!🌹
I love this!
Real consummate professionals!
Sitting around a smoker with a sore throat like that is what starts trouble... Which you'll discover years later...
It may be difficult for the band to be on this interview with this guy smoking!
The most smokers i've seen just holding the cigarettes.. not smoking them..
Cara, não sei os outros, mas Dave e Adrian fumavam nessa época também. Acho que só eles msm , na verdade
And? Who cares?
@@cicero.0209 nicko smoked too, there’s a few photos of him with cigarettes

Nice!
As great as it was having Bruce return I always look back on this era and feel a bit for Blaze. Must of been tough to go through that..
Im glad they didnt slag Gnr off both important bands to me
Great interview - this must have been days after the reunion announcement
Also funny to note Ale afficondo Bruce's drink of choice here! 😂

Vance's spare bedroom. FFS
What was wrong with Steve?
I would guess that it would be to do with his father's health. He died around that time - his death is referenced in Blood Brothers.
Nope, Steve's father died around 1994-1995 just before The X Factor
