Orient M-Force 2020 RA-AC0L03B Review - who likes diver with bikini shroud?

Full review of the new Orient M-Force series launched late last year.
This is an ISO-rated diver and I'd say it's definitely a step or two above the more entry-level Kamasu or Kanno in terms of build quality and specs.
A really big watch with styling that's arguably more popular a decade ago. These days, the craze is all about retro-themed skindivers, so I think these M-Force pieces may find it hard to gain attention.
This watch (reference RA-AC0L03B00B) is the stealth version and is on loan from Hour Boutique.

I just recently got the red dial version of this watch on bracelet. I’m blown away by how awesome this watch is .
The "G-Shock" of the automatic watches. Not for everyone, but there is definitely a market for them. Personally, I love it. Just order my first. I hope to get a few of them.

Yea. Plenty of very nice dial colour options for this model line.
It’s a shame this model isn’t launched 15 years back. Pretty the large watch trend at that time would mean this will be a popular choice.

I got mine today and I will be diving tomorrow or Friday. So far I love it the dimensions and look not have disappointed me. I can't take it off

Great review. At first glance, I found this watch attractive, considering the stealth-like dark look, but taking a closer look (thanks to your review), the crownguard is a big eyesore and the case looks too "beefy" for my taste.

Good parallel to be made with the Samurai. The lugs have a very similar shape. I never noticed it before I watched your review. That is probably why I like that design so much.
These divers definitely have a modern design to them.
The new M-force has been under the radar since its launch, and I guess it’s due to the current trend of vintage/retro divers.

I have the one with red dial. A great piece and even if it's big, in size it's like the casio duro. I'm using it a lot in this moment.

Mild sunburst finish, but gorgeous looks.
Keeps very good time of +3-4 seconds a day.
The lume is superb.

Yours is the most thoughtful and honest review of this watch that i have seen. The M-force is definitely not for everyone, but it definitely is a unique looking, capable tool watch. It definitely fits Orient's own description of it : Massive.Mechanical.Maveric; and that it is.
I bought three of them. These are very solid pieces. They pretty cool.

My only complaint is any diver over 42mm should have a 22mm strap for me the strap just looks a bit small.
Good review. The previous generation was also ISO 764 anti-magnetic and ISO 1413 shock-resistant certified. Does anyone know if this generation is also ISO 764 and ISO 1413 certified?
I have bought this watch as the green Version, beautiful , in Japan, shinjuku, in person. Honestly, I cant understand why I have to buy f.e. a Tudor for 4k or more, this is a beautiful thin diver with Saphire, manufacture movement and Made in Japan. Why another luxury watch??

Are you referring to that one known as Triton? I guess that model is more conservative in styling compared to the M-Force and definitely gets a bigger fan base.

Yes bro, definitely an issue with the audio. Funny thing is, my source video has no problems, but when uploaded, that part sounds weird and jumbled up. 🤔

I wished that the watch has shock proof and anti-magnetism since it looked like more durable
I would think it does have a certain degree of shock and magnetic protection.
@@AndyinSG I love retro-looked watches like this one but diameter size is still too big and thicker for my wrist. Hamilton Khaki in my opinion is slightly better for smaller wrist, reliable H40 swiss movement and 80 hours power reserved. If only this is just a normal size watch, i would definitely buy this for my collection.
@@augustineelmquist3376 yea that’s true. This one is pretty big and bulky. Plenty of more manageable watches out there in terms of size. We are lucky.

Hi how the black bay homage hold up. I really interested in buying the watch.
I have returned the watch to San Martin after filming the review.
If you ask me about the build quality, I can tell you that it is very well-made. But I have read many comments about buyers returning the watch due to movement issues.
I also think San Martin may do something about the male endlinks.
So maybe wait a while for them to sort out the problems first?

No man. Is there such a thing? Wow.
I am a diver and that biniki shroud is the only reason I bought this watch. it is not for aesthetic purpose. seiko and citizen what ever out there divers watch is accessories not a diving tool. I have seen so many dive watches crown broken due to unpredictabe current and from cave diving. that is why you dont see people dive with those "diver watch". m-force don give a dam about non divers. you need that shroud in diving. this is only diver automatic that I take with me down to 100m.
