My late wife and myself along with our youngest son visited these caves about five years ago whilst on holiday at Pendine Sands. It was pouring down then as well. It was a bit awkward visiting the top caves as we had to walk bent over walking up a man made tunnel. Wasn't to bad for my wife as she was only 5 ft and a half inch(which she used to say she was proud of the half inch!)
I would of liked to seen the caves whilst we were there, but never mind, we can always go another day. I’m 5’7’’ so I’m guessing I would have to bend a bit 😅 Thanks so much for watching and commenting
No disappointment here as usual. Absolutely stunning. Thank you for taking us with you and Winston and now reassured Winston keeping safely behind you near water. Spaniels equal water. At least all ours were water mad. Thank you thank you❤
Yes, Winston does love water too! But he’s pretty sensible and I think even if he was allowed close, he’d navigate it well. Keeping him behind was mainly because I didn’t know what to expect and I could take a good look without having to worry where he was. And, as they safe, better safe than sorry. So glad you enjoyed this video. Thanks so much for watching and commenting.
Winston is such a good boy, and because of that I can take him all over the country and I can trust him in, what could be, dangerous situations. Although, he can sometimes be a bit cheeky 😅😅

Showers mysteriously not working, I think that must’ve been ‘the spirit of the stones!’😆 The waterfalls looked amazing flowing rapidly after heavy rainfall. I think you were right not to venture underneath, let’s face it you’ve got a record of inadvertently ending up in the water!😅 Winston was very well behaved not getting close to the water and I’ve noticed before that he likes to scout out the path ahead of you. Also his mobility is improving, he seems to have lost the stiffness in his rear legs that he had before you travelled to Wales.
You might be right. I have no idea why those showers wouldn't work. I had to have a wash with a flannel out of the sink instead 😂 I don't have a very good track record of water 😅 Winston always walks in front. Absolutely loving these videos Roseanna! I am also the owner of a second-hand Go Pod and a brown cocker spaniel, although our adventures are not quite as active as yours (and my dog training not quite as effective!). Thanks so much for watching and commenting on our video, I'm glad you enjoyed it.
Hi Roseanna, I think we tend to forget that we have such impressive natural features like those waterfalls in the UK! The overspray, (where you were standing) from the 4th waterfall was better than the shower on the campsite. All you needed was a Lynx Africa soap on a rope and a towel! An enjoyable vlog again, Winston is so well trained, my dog would have been trying to catch the water falling!
Haha!! I could have easily had a shower there 😂 …might have been a tad nippy though 😅🙈 Winston is a good boy. I can always trust him out on hikes. Thanks so much for watching and commenting

Hi Roseanna. This morning, I was breaking camp in Podrick, my Go-Pod, after 4 nights on a site where I was the only occupant, and I copied you and ate my savoury porridge direct from the pan for speed of exiting the site. I'm not sure how you manage without an awning for extra space, although putting it away in the wet was a real phaff this morning. Keep the vlogs they're great to watch.😊
I, too, had porridge in my pod this morning ...and I ate it out of the pan 😅👍 It's sooo much easier and it saves on having another bowl to wash up. With regard to the awning, I've never had an awning long enough to get use to having one, so I don't really miss the space. Plus, I have a lot of space in my van for the storage of stuff. Thanks so much for watching and commenting on our video :)
Another fantastic video...Can I ask you how you organise your food and shopping, does Winston stay in your van when you do the shopping?..roll on the next video...David Gilmour

@@Roz.S Cornbeef and Branston pickle butties are the best ❤👌
@@judewilliams9345 I've not tried it with Branston Pickle before!! That may be a game changer! I'll have to try it.
Maybe there’s a theme for a UA-cam shorts video. What’s in your butties today 😂
@@Roz.S Let me know what you think xxxx
Absolutely loving these videos Roseanna! I am also the owner of a second-hand Go Pod and a brown cocker spaniel, although our adventures are not quite as active as yours (and my dog training not quite as effective!). This walk looked epic and that waterfall was amazing. Can’t wait to see what the next instalment brings :-)
PS try beetroot and horseradish with the corned beef, it’s next level!
Beetroot and horseradish!? I have not tried that combination but it does sound like it could work. (I am a big fan of beetroot.) I'll have to give it a try 👍🏼
Happy to hear you've got your own Pod and dog 😀 and I hope you get to have many of adventures with them.
It’s my local villages xx scwd yr Eira is beautiful but the steps lol omg… fab video xx
Great footage and accompanying music. The shower cubicle looked massive. Looking forward to the next installment. Enjoy Rozz and Winston Aka legend. 😊😊
The showers were huge; I could walk laps 😅 It was nice to have it all in one room like a proper bathroom.
Thanks for watching and commenting.
Crackin video. Winston is such a good dog it’s lovely to follow your progress together.
I had to laugh when you said “ sun screen “ in February in Wales. Brilliant thanks.
I watch far too many dermatology videos on UA-cam and now wear factor 50 sunscreen (uva and uvb) every single day of the year. Straight after washing my face, my sunscreen goes on 😅 (This is why my face can sometimes look shiny in the videos)
Glad you enjoyed our video. Thanks so much for watching and commenting 👍🏼
I love your adventures 💕
Great to hear! 😀 Thanks for watching and commenting.
I love a corned beef sarnie, lots of English mustard as well.
I also love the connection you and Winston have, he’s so good waiting like that. Brilliant vlog,I hope you’re have the best of times 👍
Never tried corned beef with English mustard, I’ll have to give that one a go 👍🏼
Glad you enjoyed our video. Winston is just the best. Thanks for watching and commenting.
Nice Video and stunning Scenery. You and Winston are a great Team!
Thanks for sharing and save travels further on.
Our pleasure! Thanks so much for watching and commenting.
I can see why you were so chuffed to visit this area, it is epic!
There's a lot more to come 😉 But, yes, it is an awesome area for those that love the outdoors.
Those waterfalls were very impressive.
Impressive is the only word I could think of 😅 …on another hike, I kept calling the views spectacular 😅 I find and word and stick to it 😅👍🏼
Thanks for watching
that's brill counting a million and one steps i'd of lost count well before i got anywhere near that
I had to use all my fingers and toes 😅
Great video Roseanna. That last waterfall was very impressive. Looking forward to part 4. Hope you are having a good week.🙂
Great week for Winston and I 😀 Glad you enjoyed our video. Thanks so much for watching and commenting
Hi love a corn beef sandwich
Another great video! Thanks. Definitely the best move not to go to the back of the waterfall especially on your own, spectacular views of the falls. My sandwich of choice at the moment is corned beef with sandwich pickle…….mmmmmm 🙂👍
Someone else mentioned corned beef and pickle and it’s a combination that I haven’t tried but I like the sound of! I need to add it to my food shop 👍🏼
Thanks for watching and commenting.
A nice vlog, loved it. Thank you.
Glad you enjoyed it. Thanks so much for watching and commenting
Your finding some great places I must have been passed most of these your going to heading to further afield places .
I’ve done my fair share of driving (and reversing!) down single track pot-holed lanes to get to some of these walks 😅 Worth it though 👍🏼
What a lovely walk. Enjoyed the video. Thank you. 🥰
You’re welcome 😊 Glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for watching and commenting.
Thanks for the vid. Planning to do this trail in a couple of weeks, so hopefully just as much water coming over
You’re going to have a great time! It’s a fabulous walk and the waterfalls look better in real life - just get ready for lots of steps! 😂 Thanks for watching and commenting.
Another great Roz Vlog 👍
Glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for watching and commenting.
The waterfalls looked amazing good call not to go behind one just not worth the risk..With you on the corned beef but with a touch of English mustard thanks for the video👍
Never tried corned beef with English Mustard before 🤔 I'll have to give it a go!
Thanks for watching and commenting.
You and Winston should visit the Cenarth falls.
Absolutely beautiful there !
Thanks for the recommendation. I’ll add it to my list 👍🏼 we’re currently touring the Brecon Beacons at the moment 😀 thanks for watching and commenting
Fantastic vlog rosemary the water falls were lovely 😅
Glad you enjoyed. Those waterfalls were some of the best I've seen. Thanks so much for watching and commenting.
@@Roz.S you are welcome 😊
Thanks so much for watching and commenting on our video :)
another awesome log , really enjoyed
So glad to hear! Thanks very much for watching and commenting 👍🏼😀
Another fantastic video...Can I ask you how you organise your food and shopping, does Winston stay in your van when you do the shopping?..roll on the next video...David Gilmour
I go food shopping in future vlogs. Winston stays in the caravan. I leave the bed up and he just sleeps. I usually stock up on tins and then just pick up the odd bits from local shops as we go 👍🏼
Glad you enjoyed our video. Thanks for watching and commenting.
Wow! You werent wrong last week about what was still to come. What a stunning place. Waterfall #4 is dramatic stuff. Its now firmly on my list of places to visit this year. Totally with you on the corned beef sandwich opinion btw 😁
Thanks for another terrific video.
Glad you enjoyed it ...but there's still a lot more to come!! 😂😂 To give you a hint, I was walking in snow as deep as Winston yesterday morning (although there's a lot more to come before that episode is shown) In short, the Brecon Beacons is a fabulous place.
Thanks so much for watching
Can't wait to see it all. Your videos really are a treat.
Love the water falls, been a couple of times, but where is the dinosaur park please please,
The dinosaur park is at the National Showcaves Centre for Wales. Here's the link - www.showcaves.co.uk/dinosaur_park.html
Thanks for watching 👍🏼
Being on your own, you made the right decision not to go behind the falls. 👍
I think so too! Thanks so much for watching and commenting.
Could those birds be Rheas type of Ostrich bird but not sure.
Yes, someone else said that is what they were. But I have never heard of them before 😅😅
Thanks for watching and commenting
Are you staying in caravan club sites?
Not on this trip. In this video, I’m at the campsite next to the National Showcaves Centre for Wales 👍🏼
Love a cornbeef butty with a bit of HP sauce
I would have enjoyed a bit of brown sauce 👍🏼 Sadly, I didn't have any, but it is a combo I'm found of 👍🏼 Thanks for watching and commenting.
It's a Rhea.... most probably named, "Diah" 😅
I wondered what you were talking about so I just Googled it. I've never heard of a Rhea before, but thanks so much for letting me know. I would have never found that out on my own 😅😅
Our neighbour had a pair of rheas and he did indeed call the male Dai.
He had great fun telling everyone the joke !!
😀👍👍
Thanks for watching 👍🏼
Corn beef 🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢. Makes me sick
I grew up on corned beef hash and corned beef pie. I guess I had no choice but to like it 😅
@@Roz.S I made cornbeef pie last Sunday, had with cauliflower cheese and buttered carrots 👌
@@judewilliams9345 I'm coming to your house! 😂
