I'm watching this back and realise I had a finger slip and deleted the image of the palette at some point so you just have some lovely floating yellow circles! 😂 I think I will try to have the palette in the corner going forward to show the shade, especially on the occasions I forget to hold up the palette and show you the shade I'm using.
I think I need to play around with the shimmers just to get the best out of them as the formula varies a bit more than I thought it would. Which Motherships do you have?
I came late to the PML party but glad I arrived. My first buy was the Holiday 2022 palette which is very similar to this one. At that time I wasn’t used to how to properly use glittery shades and wanted to toss the palette out. But I upped my UA-cam watching game and learned about glitter glue and all the magic of wet brushing and application techniques and fell in love! knowing that I could make it through the day not looking like a pixie threw up on me. After that I started to gather some faves and I really am quite fond of my current PML collection now. It’s definitely 💯 some great eyeshadows and thank god for those fantastic sale. I’m quite sure my collection was bought at 40% off across the board and at that price point my complaints are minimal.
I think Pat McGrath is one of this brands where people just "need to see what the fuss is about". Either you like it or you don't but for me, the bottom line is - never pay full price!
It’s interesting how people have such different opinions on her makeup. I’ve never tried, so I can’t comment. I just watched @thebuffetwitch do a look with this palette today, too!
I think Pat's one of those brands that you'd probably have to try yourself. I'm not sure I'd have been as impressed if I'd tried Indie brands first but I also don't know what Indie formulas were like 4/5/6 years ago when I was really getting into the brand. I think she genuinely has some lovely products but I'd never actually pay £130 odd for a Mothership. Will catch up on @TheBuffetWitch later 😊
Beautiful looks ans I agree, I'm not sure if it's a stand alone palette either. I look forward to your thoughts on it in the future. I don't know what I'm looking for with the formula but I feel like this is a palette I'm going to have to play with time and time again before I have a clean handle on it. The shims are gorgeous though!

Yes. Definitely worth it. It is my only holiday mega pallet but I love it. I already owned 5 motherships.

I wish they’d bring colourful palettes like the holiday ones in the normal range xx
I'm curious if the intention is to move away from Mothership completely. I wonder if there'll be one this year 🤔
@ I am very intrigued! X

I agree. I think it's because the formulas vary. It's certainly pretty and a nice addition so I am glad to have it.

I see what you mean!
