Uma casa maravilhosa eu não posso ter , mais um jardim maravilhoso eu posso sim, transformarei meu sítio em um jardim belíssimo com essas ideias, saudações do Brasil
That was amazing!!!!...I hope Platyceriums catch on here in the states.. I have only 2 varieties..I want more ..like the aroids ...lol Thanks for inviting us along
The enthusiasm, techniques, & home design of these people you interview are so wonderful. You never know whats behind closed doors! The tropics is such a relaxing place. Plants just grow so effortlessly, while others struggle with cold weather just to keep them alive for next year. I’m always encouraged after watching your videos to rethink & give my plants a better environment and care so they can stay happier, which makes me more positive and less stressful. The cabbage tray setup shown here was so cool. Love this video!
Thank you so much for your comment and encouragement. It means a lot to me. The episode of "Meet the Growers" is intended to introduce the behind the scene to all plant community people to understand the efforts and time they put into it. Really glad you loved it!
Hi Lone! Thank you for your great video! I am a nub in platycerium world, just recently got myself few cute looking cultivars, but I have learnt so much from your channel. This one episode particularly is my fave since you also mentioned one of the most talked about statement nowadays - the usage of aircon in growing those special IDs with thick trichome. After watching Joo's collection, I have a bit more confidence to raise my baby ginka & jade girl with more traditional and electric-saving way 🤣🤣🤣
A stunning collection! Love these overviews, perhaps some more info about the actual growing conditions. Here in Europe we can't imagine the way sun, rain, temperature is "over there". I showed my wife "more is easier", she immediately start to pack my stuff
great video i have a question "What is the black platforms that i see the platyceriums on" 4:33 and other videos you have shown like the "rare platyceriums" those have plexiglass on them as well very nicely done Im in USA South East Texas by the way very hot and humid here keep up the great content 🙂
So… 12:10 -with the struggling plant-he had paid RM8000 you said? I live in California; is that roughly US $95 or $100? Somewhere between there. I think that’s right… if so, that is not too expensive, I guess! 😂 Seeing the collection of Joo’s, I’m sure that the plant is doing great by now! So… Thank you so much, your content is always very inspiring. I’m now inspired to take my potted ferns out from their soil to mount them. And different ferns, too, not only _Platycerium_ species, but using a similar method…currently the ones I am thinking about aren’t anything fancy, but I think they will benefit from being mounting like this: _Davallia fejeensis_ (Rabbit's foot fern) _Microsorum pustulatum_ (Kangaroo fern) _Asplenium nidus_ (Bird's nest fern) _Pteris cretica_ (Cretan brake fern) _Adiantum_ (Maidenhair ferns-which people say are difficult, but they prefer brighter light conditions, I find. And prefer to be outside rather than as a houseplant. They like the wind to blow through their delicate fronds. Lighter or lime-green leaves are also a sign that a plant likes stronger or brighter indirect light. As soon as I moved them, they’re doing amazingly. Dark green ferns, and other plants, can handle lower light with the higher chlorophyll content.
I really enjoyed seeing this wonderful collection - can i suggest you leave the translation text on the screen for a bit longer - i found that often i didnt have time to read it 🥸
Wow,this is the result when you are a plant lover and millioner at the same time.😊😊😊

Those are usually used as drainage board for landscaping purposes in Malaysia.
