- Inspected and sold a 1999 Nissan Silvia Spec S which will go into long term indoor storage and be shipped to the states at the beginning of the summer next year! The client is super happy for this car and has big plans for it as well. Silvias are getting harder and harder to come by in a decent condition so a lot of times you will have to think about what you are willing to bend on or sacrifice to get what you want. But if you are patient enough, it isn't too hard finding a nice quality silvia be it a spec s or r! Even Gots A Drift Knob...🤔
3:00 Theres rust all down the seam on the right. These years S Chassis are known for that sadly
Yea the client saw it in the original inspection before we purchased the car. There was a couple issues like that.
Nice❤
Thank you!
❤😍😍
curious how much indoor storage is until it would be eligible for import. How much do you think the average cost including storage and import fees to the US would be if someone were to purchase a spec-s like this right now?
Also I love the indepth inspection! If i ever get the chance to import a silvia in the near future I'll definitely have you in mind!
It's 2024, 1999 are legal to import. And it's 150 per month
Hey, is that shaking sound from the diff normal, because i have the same sound with my S15 spec S
That’s the clutch. The shaking sound from your diff is 100% normal. Is yours aftermarket? I had an S15 spec R with a nismo diff and I hatttteeedddd it. I know it’s good for drifting but not good for every day driving. Feels like the car will rattle apart turning at low speeds. But yea, sadly it’s normal!
Ah I thought this comment was on a different video. But yea, the shaking diff is normal
@@secondchancejdm1446 Ah okay thank god, i thought i have to change my diff. Do you know why its shaking like that?
@@leaguer11 I do! It’s science! Lol. The reason is, if you turn left, the rear left tire has to slow down, the rear right tire has to travel farther, but the diff makes both tires spin at the same rate. So the shaking sound is the tire jumping typically.
How much is this one to import Canada?
Sorry it’s already sold! We can help you locate a different one though if you would like.
how much did this silvia sell for?
Sorry I don’t say the prices clients paid but you would be in the mid 2 million yen ballpark for a decent spec s
nice car but too many non oem parts.
25 years of multiple owners makes it more and more less likely to keep oem parts. I prefer modded cars myself. And now oem parts are stupid expensive which raises the value of such cars obviously
