I sell clothing & accessories for a fashion brand. Q1. Would my NEW creative designs be protected with my trademark even though they are different looking from my inside tags. The inside item tags attached are identical representations of what's listed for my trademark with the USPTO. Would I need to have more trademarks filed for each new logo, new font, etc, displayed on the item (like a t-shirt)? Some designs would only be made for a collection and maybe never used again. Q2. If I change the design of my main insignia (inside tag, website logo name font, packaging), should I file a new trademark for protection because it will NOT be protected any longer eventhough the name is the same?
You did a great job educating me. My trademark has surpassed the "Gazette" test and now I have to process the SOU to tie up the last bit. This was very informative.
Hi thanks for all the info.Could you please advise which class would be suitable if i make multiple products and the graphic design or print that goes on it such that it prevents others from copying. Thanks
Hello! If I have not set up my website for selling my product yet, but I have the product with my label attached in the t shirt, is that not enough for them to register my product. Also I have registered for multiple classes, do I have to provide an example for each one?
I hate to admit I paid a friend who is a lawyer to file a trademark and it was so complex and the explanations so draped in legalese that I stopped. This video answered all my questions and I will be in touch soon.
If I updated my website after I submitted my original specimen and they ask for additional specimens to prove the advertising and marketing component, will these be considered original specimens since it is the same website just with edits and updates. Or do the specifimens themselves need to be original? Thanks
@@TrademarkLawyer I see. In other words if one of the goods includes T-shirts, and I show a T-shirt package with my logo that is yet to be trademarked on the package, that will suffice?

Will a physical logo that bears the trademark design stitched onto the actual product being sold in commerce be enough as a qualified specimen?
Selling products thank u sooo much for the advice
Hi great job! I am going to be using this for services as a volleyball club.
Happy to help!
wondering does the product and the mark have to be on the checkout page for the specimen or can it be just the product?
So if I’m selling on Amazon, can I just submit a screenshot of the Amazon listing?
Hello, can you attach a link to the services video?
I hope this is what you are needing 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻ua-cam.com/video/zja_ppTrYM8/v-deo.htmlsi=15F-AwFJAd5Caqoi

Lots of classes may mean lots of proof!

So as a musical artist.. does a song count as a specimen?
Not quite!

Hi! what is an acceptable specimen for a budding motion picture production company when submitting our statement of use form?
A specimen can be tricky! I need to see what’s in the application!
Products
What if I need a trademark before I even start. I need to protect it before I put it out right?
And people choose to start the process before they start using it and others wait until they’ve started using it
Would showing the USPTO a picture of stickers with the logo on it be regarded as a good specimen for goods?
It depends on the goods you identified in the application!
@@TrademarkLawyer I see. In other words if one of the goods includes T-shirts, and I show a T-shirt package with my logo that is yet to be trademarked on the package, that will suffice?
Very informative thank you! (background music should be lower)
